@@programmer1840 they are one of the pioneers of thrash metal, they had many great songs, i prefer the old records (the legacy, the new order, practice what you preach, souls of black ...), The newest are good too. They are one of the few 80s bands who are still active both on studio and live performances. Many great musicians had join forces with them throughout the years, like dave lombardo, steve di Giorgio, james murphy, gene hoglan just to name a few. So check them out before you die lol ... Awesome. Wasnt to big of a Testament fan back in the day (much more into megadeth, slayer, metallica, etc) .. but you certainly nailed everything. I have been playing guitar on/off for 20 years now, and even so, I would certainly hire you at any cost to show me some new things. Keep on rockin man!

hello. This comment is pertaining to "tornado of souls" and that mystery main riff part thats we were talking about yesterday and the Kiko vid of him showing it played with single notes and alternat picking. Here's what I've found. In the old videos from the 90's they did use powerchords and downpicking. Somewhere along the lines of mid 2000's they changed and started using alternate picking and single notes on the e sting. So I guess if you were playing along with the album version, powerchords and if you were playing along with a recent video of it you would use the alternate picking and single notes. So really both ways are right. They got old and tired and started using more alternate picking I guess. LOL

Thats interesting, im sure many bands change the way they play riffs especially when doing long tours etc so it makes sense :) cant blame it when they have been touring longer than ive lived 😅
Actually that's only just the way kiko plays it. Dave plays everything the same.
