I work on Dell laptops as technical support for more than 20 years... The Latitude (pro) models are the most unreliable laptops in my life... I would never ever recommend Dell for laptops, however their Dell servers are a dream... It s the complete opposite... Most reliable in my life and i work almost on all existing brands servers (sorry no all of course)... They are dreams.
@@noaj7275 strangely Lenovo... It s a Chinese brand but strangely very reliable. Apple products as well but keep in mind that Pro software could be disconnected for ever by apple without telling you anything. Asus as well. Of course you could get a bad model and I have not tested all brands of course.
I strongly recommend to ministry of information technology to make proper laws in country to please review such products for mass usage before they can even launch. The company and such reviewers are literally fooling the people around and people spending huge money out of their pockets.
I bought a Dell XPS 9310 2-in-1 for peace of mind as a student, but unfortunately, the SSD got corrupted. Since both the SSD and RAM are soldered to the motherboard in this specific model, my laptop became unusable. It's been 6 months now, and I've been working long hours to afford another laptop, most likely a MacBook Air due to its reliability. Oh Dell, what have you done?
I hate that they got rid of the seperate charching port, it's nice that u can charge with USB C but that should be a 2nd option, it's wasting a port u could need. Having a magsafe type seperate port and 3 USB C ports for things should be a standard. This reminds me of the flop Mabook 12 inch. There's a reason apple ditched that idea yet Dell is all into using Apple's flop ideas to dig it's own grave. Apple got rid of capactive F keys, Dell: oh lets use this Apple flop idea! Dell really isn't what it used to be.
Thank you from bottom of my heart to give such a detailed review of a typical xps laptop that dell offers.I am looking forward to buy a new laptop and till now xps was my final and only final choice. But looking at this video goes as an eye opener for me.This laptop has a nasty touchpad/trackpad. You dont know where is left button ,where is right button just use the lower area to keyboard at your own risk. Dell should have thought alteast once that laptop is used for performing most critical and mission driven tasks that include payments and banking also.Atleast they should learn something from microsoft surface trackpads. User must be sure of what i am trying to do next and action must be confirmed in mind. No more dell laptops now. All the more Fn pressing and at second level invoking other functions. This is a useless feature and certainly will put you always in a mind toggling dilemma and your mindset will not be at comfort while you work on it. You can anticipate pressing Fn function keys and things not happening the way you expect. You will learn to handle such complexities but what about children and elders. I just wonder how the misers even thought to give a small lousy bag with it, Oops thermal opening placement. If you use in bed have to run to service centres. This will only and only heat if you use it in bed.Spending such a big amount for this reckless piece!!
I wouldn't dare to use touch screen on such an expensive machine without any protection. The problem is that screen protectors for laptops are not very common and difficult to apply on such big screen, compared to smartphones. I used touch screen on my XPS 9520 from 2022 a lot, and after a year, when cleaning the screen, I noticed awful, greatly visible scratch around where I swiped a lot when scrolling :(
The year is 2010, I just got some graduation money. I ask Tim what laptop to buy for college. He tells me to get the XPS. It was great.
Me too used XPS back then. XPS 15 L502X.
It was love at first sight and I just purchased the XPS14. Your video and reviews kinda assured me that I’ve made the right choice!
Hey benjamin, How is it right now. Could you please share your honest feedback ?
Hows the battery life
Xps is actually good @@olasunkanmibeckley6103

Love to see Dell still makes computers 😊
They were my favorites
This must be the most well-designed laptop I have ever seen, and I particularly like its smart features.❤
Tim Covid here
😂😂😂😂
exactly what I heard in 2x
Nice breakdown!
Well, i just want a high quality 120fps screen and decent processor and good battery for media consumption yet + window and clean design and portable
It's amazing design, nice looking.
Next unbox the max specs for the XPS 16
good video tim
Is there a charging light that shows when its charging when powered off?
Love your reviews now I subscribed you bro
Can I stop the blinking of the Touch bar?
That is due to shutter speed on camera. Not actually there
The new XPS design is hands down the best design for a laptop ever. CLEAN.
I really like it aside from the capacitive buttoms, what a shame. Maybe next years versions will be better.
That's a good looking pc!

I already have a Dell Computer. It’s an Alienware Area 51m r2. I am waiting for the are 51m r3
Isn't Snapdragon a thing in their models ?
How does it sound when the bass is set to 100% compared to Macbook 16
Only the new G14 and G16 come close to the macbook pro, no other windows laptop can compete in sound.
Nice Design 👍.
you really review it so nice, good job tim
since the cameras are actively working, doesnt that consume power?
sleek laptop design + bulky charger. I wish Dell would ship tiny chargers for their tiny laptops like huawei and apple.

Amazing video
When every vendor started to imitate Apple, it spelled the end of the golden Thinkpad T/X / Fujitsu / HP professional (i.e. serious user) laptop era.
Great video.
Yep, getting intel chip then converting to Linux when windows 10 is EOL. This thing is going to be scary fast
Dell, bring back the function keys F1-F12!

1 question what do you do with all these devices after the review?
still hate these flat keyboards, touch function keys and blended touchpad
a release notebook already outdated, dell should wait to have snapdragon on this
I really thought xps was printed into the touchpad lol
