Just listening to these specific POTS interviews has helped me immensely. I don't feel so alone, and I can now I can see that it's not just all in my head and that my exhaustion's not just personal laziness. My guilt and despair have been lifted by this program. Thank you.
Thank you for using your voice. Believing is a choice. Yes, not being believed increases and is the underlying contributor to suicide in the chronic health community when they are not believed. Shame. Those who finally believe suicide is the answer is often because everyone or most choose to disbelieve. And yet often those same individuals choosing to disbelieve are the ones who will quip “suicide is not the answer”… they load the gun for the person suffering with bullets of disbelief, offering them nothing that assists or wolves their situation, hands them the gun and walks away confident they are correct in their assumptions and beliefs. Then when the individual commits suicide they speak to their mental health contributors never validating or recognizing their medical contributors and their own role and hand in the suicide. Criminal negligence. Love love love the auto industry comparison. Auto makers need people to buy their product and write good reviews and therefore must continue to bring a safe product…. government and medical pharmaceutical companies do not. They are protected by themselves with their power to control. Wishing you well.
