If it's a military outpost, you really don't wanna lose it... Cause that could, essentially cost you the game... A good strategy what I always use, is research up until Mathematics, then build a catapult army... Watch the other civs just get slaughtered as you go take them over with ONE military object xD

When people talk about what civ to start from, If they dont have any background in strategy games. I usually say to start with this game "Civilization Revolution" But only because its the easiest game to start from. Its honestly a easy console version of Civ 4, and that is not a bad thing. We all need an easy game to start with. But when you beat this game to a pulp, its time to ether get Civ 5 with both DLC, or Civ 6. Civ 5 is pretty easy to run on a non-gamer focused PC at this day and age if its still a beefy office computer ( good CPU with basic integrated intel graphics chip ) I can run Civ 5 on my $150 (approximate price) notebook laptop on medium-low graphics. And the CPU for it is an intel i3, cant remember the gen for it though.
I've played this game a lot. The best civ to use is either the Zulu the French or the Egyptian. Spoiler alert, yes i know this is years old, the civ at the end is the Germans. They are always the gray team

CIV Rev is so broken. Early game even if you have the biggest army, if the city you're attacking has a special unit in it, it will only get more upgrades.
second city I'd have gone with the northern hill. for the defense. it's s port on the, appearantly, other sea, two oak, even if it's only a lake, then u either unload the rangers and sell the boat.or keep it. (battleships can be fun on lakes)

Side Fx I personally like to always have an influx of Food at all times, above Production and Science or Gold. But its something you have to judge looking ahead. Sacrificing one of them may enable you to get a lot more later.

Ok ...but how do you make alliances ? Bc so far i'm unable to pass throught the industriel era, EVERYTIME the 3 npc gang up on me while making peace treaties with eatch others, it's getting very frustrating! I have territorial and scientific superiority.
You don't really make alliances with the AI. You simply enter periods where you're not at war or can't declare war for a number of turns. Unfortunately peace agreements typically involve the player being forced to appease the often outrageous demands of the AI. You're in a very typical scenario for this game, and most games will go as your currently describing. Your frustration is stemming from that you're expecting the AI to play the game as you are, which it doesn't. The AI has a behavior flaw in that its pretty much set to focus solely on harassing the player, rather then trying to win the game for itself. Even if another AI is on the verge of winning, this holds true. The AI is also for the most part militarily inept even though that's what its primary focus is. It stacks ridiculous amounts of defensive units in its cities, which means it takes a serious military effort to conquer them, but it sends attacking forces that have little to no chance of success unless the target city is virtually undefended. Because of this, The AI is pretty much unequipped to go to war with another AI, and any engagements between them are usually by sheer chance if one AI leaves an unguarded city or settler in the face of another AI's troops.
I managed to play and win but I'm very bum about the fact we can't make real alliances and that inbetween attacking me and attacking China who was about to achieve scientific domination, I receive a war declaration. A good tactic I found is to use the AI tactic against itself. Stack huge quantities of units in your cities, which are on remote island while also keeping planes so that when they declare war they either ask for peace or send troops in boats which you can easily destroy with your planes.
I also think it would be better if we couldn't change at will the type of politics the civilisation are using. Would make it more immersive in my opinion. In a sense that civilisations using monarchy lets say, can and will be more military driven and greeks with democraty would focus on science and culture. Now it's merly a game of " I want to attack Russia but I'm a democraty, lets just switch to monarchy for a few turns".

Do your squares/tiles expand from your city overtime? Can you buy land(squares) near your city? I'm curious if this play like civ5 with city expansion.
Your cultural boundaries expand as the culture in your city grows. However this is different then the tile system utilized by Civ 5. The only way to expand the resource squares available to your city is to build a Courthouse. I go over Courthouses in detail in I believe either Pt3 or Pt4.
