- The role of the timbalero has constantly been changing. As early as the 1970s the creative master Changuito made a combination of 2 bellpattrns. Playing the mambobell and bongo bell at the same time!

Great Video Michael! You are a great musician and teacher.
Thank you very much. I'm glad you like my video's!
It seems like the pattern you're playing in the intro is a third variation, which is almost like the second variation, but the first eighth note (downbeat on 3, in the first measure) is also missing. I like it!
Thank you for the videos!

Please Michael! where i can dowload the tracks that you use? Thanks! a lot!
I don't know Gabriel. There should be a way to download the audio track of this video. I know some people do that, but I don't know how.... Good luck!
Este canal é uma auténtica bíblia para os apaixonados em ritmos Afro-Latinos! Muito obrigado.
Já agora um pedido: são muito raros os videos instrucionais sobre Guira Dominicana, tanto para Merengue e principalmente para Bachata. Fica a sugestão! Um abraço
me gustan muchos tus videos, muy bien explicados
Super complimenti
Your welcome!!
so good how you explain this i started timbales please say me where i can follow you cour best regards
groso miguel miranda!!!
Of course I play the mambo bell with my right hand in a normal situation. Perhaps Changuito started it this way because the sound of the mambo bell is closer to the bongo bell than a smaller bell? That is the reason for me, but I don't why Changuito did it....
This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Samuel Formell (Los Van Van)
Thanks, Michael, but...Why did you choose (or Changuito) to play mambobell with left hand? Most of timbaleros play mambo bell with the right hand !
Excellent lesson! where i can dowload the tracks that you use? Thanks! a lot!
How to tuning bongs, conga tumba sir
Nice video. How is the mabo bell called?? Mag ook in Nederlands beantwoorden..
Het heet mambobel of vaak ook salsabel. Dit zijn dezelfde soort bellen.
👍🙏
In which music i can play this pattern?
In son-montuno, songo, mambo, guaracha ect. You can use it in a lot of salsa styles. Good luck!!
Gracias!!
