It's almost double the power of a -barion level spell. That's why it hurt. There's definitely some sort of Marici build out there using innates which benfit multi-hitting skills, and then you inflict Mirage and absolutely blast something.
I noticed your skill information at the bottom has a detailed percentage of damage, accuracy, etc. Is this is a mod? cause don't remember having a detailed information displayed there. edit: nvm i just checked nexus mod and there it is the detailed skill desc mod

Old mods what use demons slots interfene with new dlc, i just deleted them and all was fine, but if you receive broken marici you may need do NG+ to restore it.

Im not really sure, I just uninstall any mod that i think it corrupt the game file, in my case it was the Musashi from Fate Series mod

You can use Concentrate or Charge for like; 10MP instead of using a 50 base MP cost -barion spell.
