The reference to Spinal Tap comes from a famous scene where one of the members of the fictional band Spinal Tap is showing off a high end custom speaker he had made that goes to 11 because “its one more, so its louder” and is completely thrown for a loop when the interviewer says “but couldnt you have just made a speaker that was louder at 10 than your old one”

I saw Watsky at Warped Tour. He did this song and took my phone to do a video selfie in the middle of the performance, it was a legendary moment I won't forget.

Ohhhhh! Funny thing, while I was tagging my video l, his name along side “ERB” kept coming up. That kinda tipped me off as well haha

I love these songs and it's great to see you react to them. I'm about to watch your reaction to part 2 and I can't wait to see you do part 3.
I will say that I believe on the balance modern technology has had a positive effect, and has the potential for much more positive effects if we can separate out the engagement-centered profit motive (he says as he comments on a RUclips video).
I met my best friend online and we can easily stay in touch despite living halfway across the US from each other. My little cousin has a friend she's never met in person but talks to almost every day. That's the power of connectivity on a personal level.
Beyond that, we're seeing so much social change and pressure thanks to the ability to record and communicate (e.g. BLM, MeToo, etc). And the accessibility it offers is unequaled throughout history. People who can't afford physical books (or the space to store them) now have all of human knowledge available to them digitally. People with dyslexia, vision loss, Parkinson's, etc can all have adaptive technology to help them in their daily life.
I think there's definitely social adaptation that's needed and is already happening (as you mentioned, this has all developed within our lifetime), but I personally don't believe the past was any better for its absence, and I think it's easy to miss a lot of its benefits because they apply most to marginalized communities.
    *steps down from soapbox*

Yo brother this series (especially part 3 is a BANGER which is ACTUALLY the very ending video of the vid I'm asking you to watch now:) HOWEVER you HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO do:
Watsky - Lovely Thing Suites Part 1-4 for an ENTIRE video my man, you have to watch the "Music Video Collection" it has part 3 of this series as the finisher as well. so I'd go and do part 2 then make a video for the music video collection and watch part 3 at the end!! New subscriber my man!

I got called poor in 2008 my sophomore year by some chickenhead for not having a cell phone in high school. I literally paid for a separate line for my phone jack and had a home phone. Some folks were raised different

I appreciate how good your audio is. I see reactions with 10s of thousands of views and it sounds awful. Keep up the good work
