Everyone you interview Bob, is happy they have make the decision to at least try the nomad life. They people are a cross section of our population which shows if this life appeals to you there is a very good probability that you will enjoy it!

Bob I like how almost all campers you interview, Cody checks out their rig too. LOL 😂. He needs his own channel to report to his 4 legged friends who has a cool rig and who to chose as a owner. LOL 😂
This is terrific!! I always think about how vehicles won't last forever, so investing in a custom build doesn't make sense to me. Simplicity, functionality and esthetics, it's all right here!

Love it! So cozy on the inside. We love our simple van build, but I couldn't cozy it out because of the passenger windows. But we wanted to keep the windows ❤️ I love your attitude! It is amazing how we can all build our vans to suit individual needs. So glad you got to meet Bob!

It’s nice to see another van traveler from the East! I live about 45 miles from her. The fact that I live so far from the Southwest is what keeps me from doing this myself. I bought 2 different vans over the years and sold them both. I was too afraid to travel that far alone. Candy has inspired me to rethink buying my 3rd van and becoming the snowbird that I’ve always wanted to be..

Awesome van! I love how she gets by on low power. Finding a way to get by without a fridge is the secret. Not sure I could figure it out myself but I admire those who do.

Lovely no-build. It helps to have those cabinets along the upper walls for built-in storage. Thanks for saying what material the shelving unit is made of, as I will look for one of those for my no build.
I wish I was courageous enough to do this...love camping and nature...and this just seems like one big traveling camping trip....maybe one day

@@candacebryson6276 Thank you Candy! I had just posted this question too. Boy, that was low mileage- good for you! I had an opportunity to pick up a year 2,000, one owner from a long time acquaintance that had taken meticulous mechanical
care of it of it with all records that had driven his family on many vacations- so many that it had 223,000 miles on it. I passed, but maybe should have had my mechanic look it over before passing it up. Well, each day now still not finding ‘affordable’ with lower mileage
makes me wonder😊 if I acted in wisdom or deafening fear. 🤦♀️ I know you can’t answer THAT :) and I’ll need to find ‘it’.

I have the same van! super cozy and I didn't have to do any conversions, it already came with a bed platform in the back. Love it!
Hi Hayden, I love this van, runs great, and it is super cozy! I did take out the bed, bench seat, this summer, and built a plywood platform, much easier access to the storage underneath now. I'm hopping to get a few more years out of her. Safe travels to you, and, thanks for watching.

I like the inside of her van, just has what she needs which does include a power source with solar panels. I do think trying van life before putting a lot of money into it is a smart thing to do.

Same windows and size of my 2002 dodge van, wish I had the hi-top roof on mine. Had the inside sprayed with EPS, need to finish my build one of these days!

“A stool for a stool.” Best label EVER for that little bucket we all so love! And I would DEFINITELY buy one of those cute little “Stool Covers!” Start making them in your spare time (when watching TV or whatever) and then sell them at the RTR - you could make some serious gas money! I saw (in the comments) some folks mentioned Foresty Forest’s channel….he has a sewing machine in his van!
