Test drove an M2 for the first time and felt like you did--thought about taking it home. I was really surprised how good it sounded and fun it was to drive. Mine was a DCT and that made it feel like an exotic with the speed and aggression of the shifts. Just a great enthusiast car. Also, I guess I'm old school, but I think the power higher up in the rev range actually gives it character and rewards you for revving it out, which I look more than all the power in the mid range and does not reward you up top.
*Hell YES buy one! I have the 2018 M2 F87 LCI (daily driver) and LOVE IT!! I also have the DINAN (pronounced die-nan) exhaust which sends the sounds right over the top! Nice review!*
What a coincidence! That’s the car I’ll be trading in for the GTR man. I’ve got a vrsf downpipe, vrsf charge pipe, vrsf intercooler and afe intake, M performance exhaust and last but not least a tuned done by eurocharged Canada. What’s the difference you felt from your GTR man? After owning the car for 3 years, I still enjoy it until this day. You’ll never get tired of it if you decide to tune it. It’s boring without mods and stock exhaust in my opinion. Definitely worth buying man
Oh that's awesome! I would assume this car was tuned. But I bet yours is a ton of fun! Such a great car in every aspect! The GTR is a huge step up in power tho. It's scary fast and will eat this for breakfast lol. You will loose the super tight nimble handling. But you'll get a very mechanical DCT in the GTR and more power and modification potential then you can ever need! And all the same practicality. GTR is a great next step up for sure!
This is one of your better reviews. I wish all your reviews were more objective like this one. You and your brother are really good at pointing out the good but there are times when your allegiance is clearly toward the dealer that loaned you the car. All fluff and no realities. I think people who read your reviews want to know the good and the bad. It doesn’t mean you have to beat up the car, just point out things that need changing. Example: I cringe every time you review a Camaro, get in the back seat and have you’re head at a 45 degree angle because of the roof and say that the room is not that bad. Or the ergonomics. Or the quality of the plastics. Or the terrible visibility. Or the fact you have to charge your phone from the back seat. As a consumer, these are the things we want to know. You can still be respectful of the car and get these points across. Good job on this review.
Good points. But keep in mind. The cars we have 0 interest in ever buying, it's hard to point out the bad stuff. Because from our perspective, we don't even want to buy the car. In the Camaro the rear seats are useable. Since I can fit. I show headroom is very bad but it is in fact useable. My phone doesn't even have wireless charging, so that doesn't even cross my mind lol. And visibility is not bad if you know how to adjust mirrors properly. You can eliminate blind spots in every car if you push the side mirrors out farther than normal. So I can make a Camaro have no blind spots whatsoever with the mirrors the right way. Last Camaro vid I did point out the plastic on the dash. We just like keeping it objective on cars we'll never buy. The M2 I would buy, so it's easier to point out negatives. If we pointed out things we didn't like in every car review, honestly we'd get ripped a new one by people. Because every car I drive is actually very slow in my opinion since I'm used to a GTR. And people would probably get annoyed with me complaining how slow every sportscar is. So we leave the negatives up to future buyers since it all depends on what they like and dislike. But I can see adding a few more opinions to reviews to at least compare cars to the competitor cars.
Lol. You are proving my point. You are putting out a product (video reviews) and we pay you, (likes, views). Reviewers are not putting out videos for cars they want to buy, it’s for people who in the future may want to buy one. So when you say YOUR phone or Mirrors adjusted for YOU etc. it’s not about you but the masses of people who may buy. Some of the most popular reviewers are ones with strong opinions. You can’t worry about if they disagree because that’s life. Why put out videos if it’s not to help us? We know the car is pretty, shiny, has nice leather. But we need to hear some caveats too, just to be informed. Otherwise why do videos? Not trying to argue, just constructive criticism. You and you’re brother are very smart informed people.
Much lighter on its toes and more playful. The M3 is getting more to the serious performance level. It's very solid in the chassis and power delivery. But it lacks that playful feel where you can just throw the car into a turn and play wit the car. M3 would be more fun at higher speeds where the M2 can have a lot of fun in the slower speeds. I's buy the M3 tho if I needed a 4 door car and wanted power like my GTR
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Did you also notice that the gear box especially the 1-2 shifts were not super smooth? or like its hard to execute a smooth quick 1-2 shift
