Hey, fun to take a look at one of your older videos (Doing research for new gloves). Very informative, but I have to say you have quite a much better microphone setup nowadays 😁
Hahaha, I had to click in and see for my self, and damn 🙈😆 if any argue that audio is important or not, just show them this. But it is nice to see I have come a long way in a short time 😄
Well...you really had me thinking with the ending note (do not ride with goretex gloves & heated grips on). I was riding a Triump Tiger 1200 XC last year in serious rain & cold weather. Decided at one point that I`ve had enough and turned on the heating in the saddle. Later throughout the day I have noticed that my Rukka pants were letting water inside through the crotch area. I had since blamed the sewing and glueing quality but what you mentioned today puts things in a different perspective. Useful video. Thanks!
I would do some testing before i put the blame on the Rukka! Heated Seat and grip are not good with Gore-tex! Glad you found it informative mate! Stay safe 🔥👏🏻
I had some very old BMW GS gloves that fit me like a ...😄 I could never find a suitable replacement until I saw your video. Bought them today and I love them. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice glove stash! You know, are gloves as best when they are starting to fall apart. Good tips to remember touch screen function, thats important. Keep it up my friend!
Hahaha, thank you... :-P I hate trowing away gloves, because as you say.. they are at their best when they start to fall apart :-P Yeah, it sound's like a small detail that are not relevant. But believe me, not having it on your gloves sux bigtime :-P Thank's, will keep at it and hopefully get better every time :-)
Thomas Hansen at my favorite race summer gloves, i had a small hole at indexfinger when those was like best, worked perfect for touch screens at that time 😂👌🏻
Yeah, the gloves are really good! For my hand they pinch a little bit on the index finger but that is no huge issue. The problem with the phone is the biggest issue, and way bigger issue than i first thought. But i will have them as a back up :-)
Thank you mate :-) Well, try to lover your gloves into a bucket with hot water and put something cold inside det glove and see how it goes :-P I have had several issues with it. But i just turn them off when it start rain like crazy... minor rain is no problem
I’ve also got a set of the old BMW Rallye gloves, I love them but only after 18 months the stitching on the index finger has come undone. It’s a pity as they are such a great fit, I may have to check out the newer version.
Yeah, i know alot of people has complained about this issue. This is why i shop at my local dealer... if it happens within the first or second season, you are almost certain to get a new pair on warranty :-) And the fit is so great, and they are kinda cheep prized compared to alot of other brands, so i say to hell with it! best fit all the way :-D
Thomas Hansen from ktm my ride ,Schubert c3 then c4 whit ktm paint, ktm power part boots(fantastic),gloves from ktm but I trash theme, they was from alpinestar(low quality).since I’ve got some winter gloves from dainesse, and orina heated gloves and also e-klan heated gloves.i love riding during winter like this morning.ive been surprise by orina ,it was because the price and finally they are great.i also get socket, pant and jacket from e-klan fully connected together to the bike batteri and since I’m the happyest biking guys in the world.....
@@loicarquetout431 Aaahhh nice :-) I have never heard of Orina gloves, i know they have some Gerbing heated gloves at my local store, but not yet tested them. Here in Norway it can be cold in the mornings and evenings, so comfort is really important when the temperature drop's. thank you for the tip, i will try to google some e-klan stuff. cheers
I was really close to by a pair of this glivesmy self, but it did not fit my hand as good! And think there was a lining in the warmer/waterproof section of the glove! And that is a pain when you hands are getting wet or sweat. You may want to double check that 👍🏻
Robert Lepack i know there is some of the Klim gloves that has touch capabilitys, but many of them has not! I would check that, because it is really anoying without. No, they are not all waterproof. The short ones to the rigt are not 👍🏻😉
I did not get the part with the Gore-Tex Glove. How hot has the water / rain to be for it to reverse? I did not even know that there was a reverse mechanism.
The old Rallye Pro.. Definitely my favourite offroad good weather gloves 👍👍👍👍
Arne Jakobsen i even use it in light rain, they dry up so fast with the wind i dont botter to change before it is really raining 😂
After your BMW Rally pro recommendation I went to BMW and tried some on. You are so right they are the most comfortable gloves I own now.
Yeah, they hit the nail on the head with this ones🔥👍🏻

What a glovely hands on review. I so relate to the problems with a non-smartphone glove. I must get a compatible pair for this season..
Nomad Sweden 🇸🇪 small things like that can make a sane person go insane 😂

I ride all year on Rukka Airium, I love them that much that I ride even on winter with them
Yeah, the Rukka gloves are amazing... a little to hot in the summer for my taste, but Rukka know's how to make good gloves
i did not know the heated grips and gortex thing
Just look it up, or try for your self 👍🏻😊 glad you found out about it. Cheers
I do also have the Klim Inversion Pro. Love them but problem to operate my mobile phone as you mention....

Nice vid! Never had an issue with the goretex - heated grips combination?

Åsane is best town to by riding gear before big tour✌️
I totally agree mate :-) Have you been to Åsane and bought some gear lately?

Håper de har noe lenger levetid enn GS Pro :-) Har slitt ut et par jeg også, men på altfor kort tid.
Ja, håper også de har litt lengre levetid en GS Pro, men de er så sjukt god til hånden min at det har vært verdt det :-)
"Feels like dogshit in wet snow...." not sure if i like that feeling on my hands :-)
We have all seen a hot dogshit melt down in wet snow :-P Hahaha. poor way to say they fit "like a glove"
@tshansen You mean to say heated grips are not good with Gore-tex "in the rain", right?
Yes, Gore-Tex and heated grips are not a good combination
What do you think about 2 in 1 bmw gloves to use in Belarus region?

Thomas Hansen So curious what you where in Bergen when it rains? Not that it rains there much, does it ;)
Looking forward to you reviewing the project SC pipe. I like your perspective... much appreciated
Robert Lepack thank you mate, i was told i should have it next week! I will make sure to drop a proper side by side sound comparison 👍🏻
The inner lining came out because you weren’t taking them off properly ...
you maybe right :-)

Got it, Gore Tex Glove plus heated grips. Sorry!
😉👏🏻
