  • It's been a while since the last marble run video. I created a relaxing concrete and terrazzo marble machine this time. Chill out and enjoy!

    A Marble Run where "marble" is referring to the material of the track.
    Love it!

    I am always fascinated by how you have coordinated everything in terms of color. This just looks really fantastic.

    It's good to see another full length video from you.
    What makes this one the most realistic is the speed of the marbles are faster, being able to see the marbles spin and rotate due to the textures on the marbles. Everything else is top notch too. Man 4K, that sure took some time to render.

    Nice work. Very nice to look at. Don't give up and keep making videos like this. Then you can combine them into one big compilation and it will get a lot of views! It's a great video for relaxation and to put in the background on 4k TV.

    All of these simulations are amazing. This channel needs more attention!
    Also please make some tutorials on how to get those amazing lighting and material.

    Love it. Do you have any video tutorial on using your marble assets? I’m a Blender noob but when I saw one of your earlier videos I went and bought it only to realize I’m not sure how to use it lol. A quick tutorial video would be amazing 🙏

    very chill. How big is the simulation cache for all those balls? How long does it take to run a simulation?

    • @alan__luk
      @alan__luk  Год назад +1

      Around 30mb. It took around 1-2 minutes to bake physics.

      @TripTilt Год назад +1

      @@alan__luk okay, that seems reasonable, thought it would be much more data and take much longer. Thanks for the info. :)

    Animation looks terrific ❤
    I have a suggestion for you
    Remove the blender from your channel name and titles and choose normal titles like "marble maze" so you can target larger audience not just blender users and 3d artists re brand your channel away from blender so you can go viral

      Thanks! I changed it to "Marble Station" once but changed it back immediately😂 I believe you are right. I should do it!

    Quick question - I've seen your awesome LEGO animation... have you ever tried using rigid body physics to animate a model crashing/breaking? I'm trying to simulate a LEGO car being dropped from a height and smashing, but it explodes as soon as I press play :(

      Literally tried everything I can think of...
      - Setting the scale and origin.
      - Increasing the scale.
      - Increaing the solver iterations.
      - Changing from convex hull to mesh.
      - Lowering the sensitivity margin or setting it to 0.
      - Merging by distance to remove excess geometry.
      - Importing different file types.
      - Calculating mass.
