Thank you so much!! My dad replaced the motor unit and when we put it back together he pushed the secure clamp back too far. We didn't realize it had a special groove to go into, so we got the mentioned error codes. I was watching your video while he was reassembling it a second time and said wait dad, something has a "special spot", 😂, and we realized what was done wrong the first time. Bot of us have pretty bad vision and we hadn't noticed that. So, thank you!!!!

Thank you for this great video. I am sure this is the problem. My Whirlpool Cabrio is 8 years old, and has been great until this last year when I have replaced one issue after another on it. I think it is time to give up. 😖

Same. 9 years old and have replaced a few parts already. Now this. My mom’s 33 year old washer is still running just fine. I hate new appliances.

Hello I watched your video and it was wonderful!
I pulled off the stator and it is a white one and the teeth are ground down but not as bad as the one in your video and the connecting piece on the washer with the spring on it was not ground down. I'm wondering if I'm about to the correct part. stuff that I looked at said shifter actuator but I don't see a shifter actuator on this one unless it's underneath the rotor. Is this the part since it doesn't have a belt like the other videos of shifter actuator repair videos or could it be something different. I just don't want to order the part if it's not the right thing.
Can you please let me know what you think when you get a minute?

I replaced these parts but now I start the washer, it seems to be sensing by the drum going around slowly and stopping, then it just turns off. Any suggestions what to do next?

Hey, I have the exact same washer in the video. but recently everytime I start it the display flickers looks like the display turns off for second and then the lid locks and the display turns back on and it starts up like nothing happened and when it gets down to the last minute it just get stuck at a minute and doesn't finish the cycle, do you by any chance know why it's doing this? Never done this before? I appreciate it if ya got any ideas on what it could be.
