One thing I should note on this video in case anyone else has the same problem I did. Unlike in this video, I had one hell of a time getting the bike arms to release for me after loosening and twisting the lever, to the point that I completely unscrewed the lever off of the bolt, and the arms still wouldn't release. Instructions weren't any help of course. I almost returned the rack until I discovered what I needed to do. If you are having trouble with the bike arms being stuck, hold the bike arm at the very far end for maximum leverage, and then rock the arm from side to side (not up and down like I was doing without thinking about it). Once I did this, no problems working with the arms. It still feels like a bit of an awkward system, but it's something I can live with. And my bike is MUCH sturdier on this than it was my old 961 XT speedway. A very nice upgrade.

Would you guys recommend this over the passage 3? I have a 2008 Acura TL sedan with 2 mountain bikes. Also, how do these compare to a Hollywood bike rack? There's one at my local thift store for $15 but not sure how secure it is haha

Hi. I have an ebike that weighs 50 pounds. And my car is a 2020 Buick Encore. Would it be ok to use this rack on my car (compatible?) if I am only going to carry one bike due weight constraint.
This rack is rated for 35 lbs per bike. The weights cannot be combined to carry one heavier bike. We do not recommend carrying an Ebike on a hanging style rack because of the stress that would be added to the bike frame.
