Was watching the vid and let me try and help to explain the Ouryu deletion, from my understanding - he gains the effect "can't be deleted by opponents effects" what lilith does is give your own digimon "at the end of turn delete this digimon" so it's no a deletion effect done by your opponent and the deletion is actually made by Ouryu itself with the effect given - hope I could help

That's all good! Thanks for helping, had to double check with a mate of mine who's a judge because I hadn't seen anyone at our particular locals running Lilith in their lists. (Despite there being so many SGDL players 😂)

Me too! It's a fun deck when it goes off but suuuuper high roll so had so many games where I made one tiny bad decision and spent the rest of the game suffering 😂

Interesting thing about 'can't be deleted by opponent's effects' and lilithmon. Lilithmon gives your digimon end of turn delete self. Lilithmon and thus the opponent isn't deleting it. you the player are deleting your own digimon, so any protection effects that are exempt from own effects don't trigger off of it. (like Partition)

Also. no effect can whiff, once it gets gets activated it will always activate, even if you steal turn back.

Thanks for the proper explanation! I actually cut the bit where one of my judge friends in chat explained the process to me cause I felt it would be boring to watch that whole process haha. I hadn't seen anyone play with Lilith at all at locals yet so at the time wrapping my head around it was pretty funny

@@amateurishauthor2202yes it’s possible, miraculous knight literally causes specific targeting effects to whiff.
because it DNAs with your digimon that’s about to be I affected by the effects that would make it leave the field.
But since it’s used for dna are the effect loses its target and then affectively WHIFF

@@empireyouth5791 still isn't a whiff. The effect is applied successfully, DNAing sheds it, I didn't mention Miraculous mega knight because yes, that does beat the end of turn delete self. However if you don't have that protection (like say, placing eot delete self on the omni) and the omni player goes into eot step and somehow pulls turn back, it would still delete itself even though turn isn't ending anymore. Whiffing implies that the effect failed to apply, not that it backfired or not.

OK time to make some points
      * 1 yes miraculous mega knight does work because according to the official game rules of digimon, a digimon Formed from DNA Evolution counts as an entirely new body on the field and loses every single effect (positive or negative) that was applied to the digimon that were used to form It , this includes lingering effects such as Lilithmon.
If Omnimon need protection then Miraculous mega knight would be One of the worst delay option in existence, the DNA Rulings is what allows it to not it not instantly die after miraculous knight resolves (because miraculous knight doesn’t stop it from leaving the battle area just allows it to DNA if a Greymon/garurumon were to leave the battle area)
      * 2 yes this is whiffing, whiffing is a common TCG slang for “ when an effect resolves successfully but whatever would be effect ( it’s Target normally) leaves leaving the effect with nothing to no longer affect” what miraculous mega night does is literally this.
I think you’re confusing “whiffing” with “ fizzling” Digimon has no true fizzling with the closest example being blitz fizzling if you were already blitzing/end of turn attacking

what an abomination of a deck. while meta makes me puke, decks like that aren't any better
not to mention that it's not exodia, which is obvious, so it's clickbait. (if you wanna see some kind of destiny board in digimon wait for BT17 with the clock of omen XD)
