This is a redo of my original video: The Best Start Ever. People wanted me to show the map more and I retooled it to be a more beginner friendly version. Even if it's your first time playing this should be easy to follow. you will be buffed up and ready to rock this game if you follow this walkthrough. I recommend to do part 2 also to level up. So feel free to go on your own after this video or follow along with the series. thanks so much for coming on this journey and have fun. - Игры
5:26 I neglected to mention the sprinter perk doesn't make your speed faster it makes your sprinting faster.
Also at 0:47 I said Ledetchko wasn't open and i meant to say Samopesh. FYI
I love your video and all but I can't pick a lock to save my life. I've been at it for now. 3 hours 3 and 1/2 hours and I can't pick this first lock at all on simple or other? I don't know why this has to be this hard
@@danwilliams4825 I do hear this a lot and I am sorry. Are you using a joystick ? I am told it'd hard to do. All I can say is, if it's not near the middle (where it's easier to do) hit escape and then try again until it's in a better place.
It does get easier with practice.
I finally got the locks down after waking up in a town during story a character teaches u the lock picking and I lvled up a bit with chest getting easier as that happened
@@danwilliams4825 yeah as you level up it gets easier. everyone had trouble with lockpicking when they first played this game.
I made it to horse but short. Is their a beginner friendly money maker that doesn't get me killed 😂
Me: "I'm never going to watch a 2,5 hour long guide for KCD"
Me 3 hours later playing KCD: "Did he say I have to go left or right at these crossroads?" (Watches the whole guide again)
It's a great guide. The instructions and explanations are really clear to follow and you got a nice sense of humor.
so funny and thanks so much for your kind words.
it's comments like this that keep me going. thank u
I’ve owned this game since it first came out. Tried playing it and after about 4 hours I realized how time intensive this thing is. I put it down in the hopes that life would slow down enough so I can really let myself get immersed in this world.
I saw the announcement for KCD2 today and realized I need to get a play through going of KCD1! I’m glad I found this guide. Thank you for taking your time out and creating this!
Lockpicking in this game is brutal, initially. Thankfully I saw it mentioned that it’s easier if the sweet spot is close to the center. That helped out a ton.
Also, I was treating saves like I did in Skyrim. Needless to say Henry was shitfaced and I was confused for a very long time lol
Heads up to anyone trying this guide and playing the game for the first time: if you save and reload at the first chest you come to right after leaving Talmberg the poacher will be there. So save right after you convince the guard to let you out and reload from that point so you don’t have to fight the dude if you mess up with the lock pick
good point, and thanks for the comment
Man, been messing with KCD for 4 years. Always hit a wall because of limited time…but dude. You crushed it. I know the point of this game isn’t to become a wrecking machine immediately, however it’s empowering to have such a comprehensive start guide. Well done and thank you!
No problem Bro, thanks for the nice comment.
Why not become a wrecking ball straight away. The game is punishing as all get out if you're not tough, I prefer to dish it out.
Hands down. This is the ULTIMATE guide of KCD. 2 years of playing this game and my 100-hour run was like crap compared to this gem 😂.
I gotta do a re-run with this guide.
thanks so much for the kind words, and I'm working on some more stuff for this game
Just bought the Royal Edition for $4 on the PS store, best KCD Guide on RUclips. You can tell a lot of work went into these runs.
thanks a lot, and yeah it's been a work in progress for years. this is version 5 of this run. and $4 for the royal edition, Wow!
I too just bought it during the sale. Glad i came to check comments, i was weary about committing 2.5hrs 😂
Inane value. I bought it long ago for like 40 dollars. No regrets.
You are too hard on yourself. This made me play this game again. I had given up because I was struggling. Thanks for this walkthrough.
thanks, it's comments like this that make it all worth while 🥰
Dude you’ve made conquering this game a branch of science. I’m thoroughly impressed!
that's so kind of you, thank-you 😀
have been struggling so much in this game but I love it and I was determined to keep playing. Your video helped me out so much! Thank you! 😊
It was a lot of work to figure this all out. but knowing it helps people is all worth it. thanks for the comment
Love ya Zig, can't wait to binge your KCD2 content when it comes out ❤
Yeah, I've been waiting for this for years, and thanks 🥰
I really appreciate these long detailed videos. Many don’t do them cause not as many people watch them but I follow the whole videos like these. Use to be following big Zelda walk through books but being able to follow along to walkthroughs like these is amazing.
well get ready because i just put up a 3hr walkthrough of Pribyslavitz :)
@@ZiggyTheAdventurerdude I want to thank you for your detailed and simplified walkthrough. It only took me 5 days to complete your 2hr30min walk through thanks again.
@@rudylima7013 like 5 game days or 5 actual days ?
@@ZiggyTheAdventurer5 actual days I can't even count how many runs, I finally managed to finish everything as you did on the video by the time I got back to the mill it was 7 in game days.
@@rudylima7013 lol. well you did it and now you're a better, more experienced man for it all. the rest of the game will feel easy now
DUDE this video has been so helpful! I finished my first run a few years back, and i had no idea how treasure is literally everywhere!
ya just gotta go get it ! 💰
Hey man, I followed everything in this video, and it wasn't problematic as it looked at first glance to be. After the latest update of KCD where I was already pretty ahead, my saves weren't working properly, so this guide was ideal for me. Thanks again, you deserve more subs mate!
thanks, I'm glad to see it helping people.
also I never beg for likes or subs, I just enjoy making the videos and let it happen organically. it took me 5 yrs to get 1000 subs but in the last year I've gotten 2000 more. So it's coming along. and thanks again for the nice comment
Like my man, you've made the best KDC guide on RUclips, good job!! I like how jt doesnt target Skalitz or anything. All in All, a splendid video bro.
thanks, I'm glad to hear that. This has been a long time in the making, every time I make one I find something else I should have done or someone points something out. this is (I think) version 5. I'm pretty happy with this though so hopefully it stands as the final one
Thanks a lot, buddy!
So many little but important things I still did not know about.
Very helpful!
anytime pal
Hey, Ziggy. Had watched your play through before. Can't wait to see this and start a new campaign
it's basically the same run but I've changed the timing a bit and show the map more as I had complaints that the original one was hard to follow. this one is more follow friendly. and thanks for your support
Started the Game several times (and i got it a damn long time now...) and never got real far. This Guide is gold! I have so much fun now. Thank you for this! Helped so much. Great work. Absolute Gold.
No probs buddy
Best Guide Ever renewed my interest in game once again much secrets i learned from you oh wisest Sage!! thank you for your time to put forth such amazing guide
my pleasure, and thank you for the kind words. I'm glad you're inspired to play again.
Thanks for the effort of not only making this guide once, but twice for those unfamiliar with the game! And I love the cover for the video! :P
Yeah I took a lot for granted and thought I should redo it. and actually this is like my 5th attempt at this video. and as for the covers. I enjoy making them and I actually put a lot of work into them so thanks for noticing them.
good info good spots for important things i followed almost all the way thru i made a few mistakes and messed up my run slightly but still got kitted out got alot yo selll and now its more so for me gettibg my strength and reading then work the other stats great play thru
thanks for the nice words, now go kick some ASS !
This video was so good! It made me play again. So when it first came out I played the crap out of it and was decent. Although it was difficult. I mean it’s not an easy game and a bit more realistic. But for some reason I went to the charcoal burners sight where a lot of bandits are got completely destroyed quite because I hadn’t saved in for a bit never picked it up till now. This guide is excellent and helped me get started again.
thanks for the nice comment
Just started, thank you for your hard work.
my pleasure buddy
Is there a part 2? You explain the game & mechanics extremely well.
in the description you'll find all the next episodes
Although I've already commented here, I've seemingly learned a tip for finding the treasure chests in the dark if you happen to be travelling at night. (Can't recall if Ziggy mentioned it in his original #1 super run walkthrough.) There seem to always be fireflies by a locked chest in the wilderness, my testing is not extensive, and may just be a happy coincidence, but it's happened three times so far, and that's one more coincidence than a Boeing whistleblower so it's good enough for me.
haha, and I didn't know that. I'll have to keep an eye out for that. I have seen fireflies where there is no treasure so it's not always. but north east hill from Ledetchko has fire flies at night. it's worth a look. and thanks
Thx for that guide man :) Am starting my Journey in this Universe :) Now will be easier :)
let me know if it's easy to follow if you can, and thanks
@@ZiggyTheAdventurer I will :)
Amazing start, perhaps ill try it after my current run
appreciate the guide man much love
It took me 16 hours to complete this. Actually, it was more. I don’t know how much more because I really don’t remember how many times I had to reload a save after breaking a lock pick or dying to those bandits on the road and the bandits on the side of the river. Well worth it.
sorry to hear you had trouble but it gets easier as you go. can i ask, are you using a controller ?
Top-notch starter guide! Systematic, efficient and very informative as always. Thanks Ziggy! I'm gonna follow this on my Hardcore all negative perks playthrough.
remember not all items are in the chests in hardcore. I'm not sure what's missing but it's still worth it
Thank you. Your original was still good but got lost sometimes. Now that I have the itch to play this again this is great :)

Finished part one tonight took about 4hours total playtime as this is my first time playing this game and getting past the prologue I only have 2 deaths both from archers getting the golden spurs lol everything was relatively easy to follow but somehow I lost bernas cup so whoops hopefully that pops up soon thanks for the guide was super fun to follow happy and sad it’s over but excited to play the game for real now for the first time
f Bearns cup, he wont even know. it's not a big deal. but check venders you dealt with they might still have the cup. no big deal though
I’m a bit late in my play-through for some of this stuff (mostly the noble horse saddle and, possibly, the golden spurs), but still…knowing where to find all these goodies in graves and where to find some chests and gear is invaluable! Going to go through this ASAP.
the spurs are kinda easy to find, the saddle was right at the start, but you can buy it with the money you'll make getting the spurs, safe travels my friend 🐎
@@ZiggyTheAdventurer So you can still find that night battle with the (bandits? Soldiers?) that have the golden spurs if you wait at that spot? Hope so! I’m not too far into the game. Taking my time. But I’m needing a full set of plate with the sorts of enemies I’m encountering on the road. The bandits are now all in fancy armour. 😒 Which tells me I need better protective gear.
yeah you can keep quick traveling to Rovna and back or sleep in the little hut there for an hour and keep going out to look. sleeping there also saves your game
you can discover the whole map (except for talmberg, as it gona trigger the next cutscene while skipping the "get shot in the leg and ride to talmberg" part) within the prolog with no ingame time passing, if you leave the area right after you picked your first horse without triggering the cutscene. unfortunatly most of the quest arn't available at this point, but you can do a few and once you got everything you want you can go back to skarlitz and trigger the cutscenes
ruclips.net/video/P_5B5OuNcDw/видео.html
when I do that I randomly get shot by an arrow once i get too far away from the area. So I'm not sure how you do it
@@ZiggyTheAdventurerRide further along the path toward the next cutscene trigger, until you spot another horse then turn right and you see a big compond with a low wall between two buildings, jump over that low wall. There are bandits in there so beware. Also you can get a faster horse than default if you head right immedidiatly after the attack on skalitz cutscene, you should see a lone horse, that is not the horse. Run past it and cross the river and mount the other dark saddleless horse on the other side of the river. It is faster enough than the default horse that it makes exploring the map more tolerable than with a slower horse.
Love your guide. I botched it slightly, missed a few items and I'm only about halfway through. I have returned to Talmberg to get the quest from Stefanie and retrieve my saddle. Your video is 2 1/2 hrs, I've been pausing and re-watching bits to make sure I go the right way etc for about 5 hrs and I still have an hour of the guide to get through. Totally worth the time I'm putting in. Glad you took the time to make the guide, especially for kcd noobs like me. Thank you good sir.
it's good to know people like it and it's helpful. thanks for your support
😂 ya took me 5+ hr when I went through this.
Great run thanks for the video, I started my 3rd playthrough on hardcore and I spent about 6h in skallitz, even messed up the lockpicking part as I beat up kunesh and didn't want to restart.
My next main quest is The Prey but I already got all leipa armor pieces, will follow your video to get the horse and all the loot.
What do you think about the leipa armor?
the Tournament Set you mean ? I've never got it because I have never won the Tourney. I always put all my effort into the Bow. I need to try it, it looks amazing. to be honest I only use armor for the look. The set i have at the start is usually the stuff I keep for the whole game except for the Magic Cuman Helmet and Magical Cuman Disguise. but once again it's just for the look.
@@ZiggyTheAdventurer Yes from the tournament, I also do it so I can make some money (~900 every win) but going for the chests like you seems more efficient
The only downside is that it's not a complete set like warhorse, it only has the plated pieces, but no cloth pieces like chausses and hood
Great guide, but as someone that played with 'weak Henry', you're missing a lot of this game and the satisfaction of seeing the real draw of this game and the growth of Henry'. This isn't a criticism of this guide, it's just a warning, that if you skip everything on your first playthrough, you're not going to walk away with the amazing experience this game offers, and might not even enjoy it.
I guess what I am saying is if you enjoy a 'Souls' game, play it normally. If you hate the 'Souls' games, follow the guide.
I do get the comparison but in Souls you are not that weak early game. Sure you can die more easily. But Henry in the beginning is completely useless lol. And Souls games do have the dodge mechanic, so as long as you're decent at that you're good.
I'm sure i mentioned to play the game first before doing this walkthrough
I found I was able to do a good amount of stealth leveling and lock picking during the night when you get woken up to check the walls. A lot of npcs are sleeping so easy to knock out. Most guards aren’t around some are sleeping so good for some gear. And for lock picking there is a door right next to the bed that is very easy to pick and it gets relocked if you shut it. After a few minutes so go around knocking the others out and come back. 👍 and even in the start of the morning before the army comes you can still do some things
yeah, nicely done. I totally recommend doing stuff like this when you have the chance. thanks for the tips
@@ZiggyTheAdventurer and that’s only mixed with following your guide. I honestly wouldn’t have gotten anywhere without this guide 👍🙏
@@ChaosMAXhatfield Thanks ☺
I wish I had found your video earlier... 😂 Great guide!
thanks for the view :)
thanks for the guide, really helpful for a noob. I was following the previous one & was struggling a bit with a few spots on the map, then you just uploaded this one. only problem is Idk how to loot the Moldavite, the archer is there with the other guy. Any tip?
get in the tree and go for the Archer first, or if you're having trouble beating him pass time to night and just sneak in and rob the chest. or get them to chase you on your horse until they're far enough away that you can rob the chest before they get back.
Where did you find the Who Needs a Key 3 book? I’ve been trying to find the trader pilgrim who has that to trade (according to the wiki) and can’t get him to spawn. Is it in one of the grave stashes? (Edit: its 2 thats unobtainable unless you find the pilgrim. My bad!
In general, I have found it easier to do a tough climb on foot rather than on horseback. Henry is closer to the ground with a better chance of seeing the terrain underfoot. He has a better chance of squeezing through the shrubs. Plus a biped needs less of a foothold than a horse. I admire how you were able to walk the horse to the same ledge as the nest. I walked Henry to the ledge just below the nest. He can jump up from there and onto the nearby shrub but it is a tense moment. I advise anyone to Save Game before risking a lethal tumble down the slope.
yeah I used to walk it too but I got seriously hurt a few times and found with the horse I never get hurt. but anyway you do it is fine as long as you get the stuff 👍
Didn't get the fight scene in the woods at 1:35:35, reloaded and tried a little earlier, and later, no joy. Great guide video though, I've enjoyed working through it and learned a lot. Many thanks.
you can go to the hay shack I fight off of and save there, then travel to Rovna and back to the Monastery to retrigger the fight. If it doesn't work reload your save and do it again, that way you wont lose too much off the clock. it should retrigger the fight because it is random. "and thanks for the comment"
I'm attempting to rob the humtsman, but he's working and is so slow. Does he stop for lunch? My energy is depleting. Guess i can back later.
Love your content...this is a difficult game and your recent guide is incredibly helpful. Pesky patches. Thank you so much for all your effort, you are appreciated.
you by no means have to do it in the time frame I'm using, I am just hustling along for the sake of the video. feel free to stop or sleep at any time
I've listened to this video all the way through while delivering tires lmao 😂. I thought I heard you give the location to the Sir George Sword. Did you?
If you did, can you tell me what part of the video its in?
2:01:00 just follow from here, I make a detour to get a padfoot potion you'll need to open it
Firstly I want to say you did a great job with all this! Thank you man.
Secondly me being me, I cant get any golden spurs, any advice from where else i can get them? Thanks.
if you finish the Tournament Hans will give you a set. but i suggest to just keep trying south of Rovna, you will get a set and loot valuable gear at the same time. here: 1:35:10
@@ZiggyTheAdventurer thank you for the answer, the problem is I never get them there. :( I always loot corpses but no one drop them. I will keep try to do the fight I guess.
it is the best place to get the spurs, just keep picking up your arrows and you can spend all day there
What do you do with the darkness issue. I was fine until i reloaded a save and now the game is darker and i cant fix it.
if it's night time just hit the "T" key and pass time until light. if it's a glitch I'm sorry I'm not familiar with that.
@ZiggyTheAdventurer it was nvidia overlay. Once I turned it off it went away. Was a glitch where my monitor was going to 0 brightness for some reason.
Welp I’m already starting my second character 😂 so we are back after just finishing this time will be much faster and efficient though I ended up selling some things I really want and wasted some level up points and don’t want to wait for a reset potion so here we are back to being a basic virgin that can’t read 😂 this game is now I’m my top 5 and this guide is a big reason why
thanks for the kind words, glad it helps
Ive tried to crack this game on my own several times over the years. I always end up broke, bloody and discouraged. Sorry to the purists, but thats not my idea of fun! I'll be starting a fresh game and following this guide to the letter. Thank you sir!
Yep-broke, bloody and discouraged seems about right. I’m having fun so far but the game can be brutal at times. I’m taking my time with it and training a lot. Getting the Defence skill up will help with combat-perfect blocks specifically. It widens the timing window for that. So training with Bernard is key (something I hadn’t really gotten into until recently when I picked the game up again.) Also turn on Simplified Lockpicking in your settings. Game-changer on console!
awesome !
I agree with not trying to maximize any skills during the Skalitz intro. You can pick up 6 effortless skill points in the larger world by two methods.
The maximum for any skill is level 20. After levels 5, 10, and 15 you can get a boost from an NPC skill trainer.
PLUS you can get another boost by reading a "skill book" at those levels. You do have to pay for the training and may have to buy the books. But that's what coin is for.
If you tried to hit max 20 while in Skalitz then you've invested a total 6 levels of grinding points, instead of gaining those levels with little or no effort at all.
Besides, you will continue to exercise some skills long after the level cap.
plus: there's no sense being leveled up at a point where you don't actually need it, waste of time
I found a locked box before visiting the tavern but never received lockpicks. Not sure if they patched that out of the game or if it's unique to my playthrough but felt it worth mentioning. Thanks for this!
go back to 6:50 of the video and watch it for 1 minute if you missed the lockpicks.
@@ZiggyTheAdventurer Ahhh, I see where I went wrong now. Thanks again!
As someone who’s about 3 hours in and wants to enjoy myself but doesn’t want to have a terrible/unnecessarily hard run, how necessary is most of this for the beginning of the game? I didn’t get the best saddle for instance and I didn’t do my stat points in the ways that you did. Will some of this make the game extra challenging for a new player going forward, or is it better to just enjoy and try it for myself my first playthrough?
no you don't need anything i have, the saddle will be helpful but you'll make enough money to buy one from this run. I actually recommend to take your time and listen to the cut scenes. maybe watch from where you are to see if there is something you might miss that will be helpful. it'd be nice to get the horse though
@@ZiggyTheAdventurer thanks for the reply! I may restart considering I’m not terribly far in I think some of this could give me a little head start. Been loving the dialogue and cut scenes though and am kicking myself for putting this game off for so long
@@markymarkeaton yeah it's by far the best game I've played in 6yrs once you get over the learning curve
Bless you hero ✨

It might be worth mentioning that if you're in a hardcore game the chests have different drops. So in the chest under the cabin after the battle I didn't get the leg plate. I also didn't get the Herc book either.
I don't think the herc book is from a chest
@@Disgised_wolf293 It wasn't when I followed this run through on normal mode. It was in one of the chests, in hardcore you can get it from the Apothecary in Rattay. I was making the point that the drops are different. I also didn't get the Quartered combat jacket from the cave drop up where you ask the family about the missing priest quest either. On a normal run I got exactly what was in this video. but not on hardcore. and that was my point.
yeah it's all different, I only tried hardcore once and got my ass served :(
@@ZiggyTheAdventurer Yes it takes a little getting used to. Navigation isn't that bad if you have half a clue about RL nav. Combat instead of looking at the reticle to know where you're hitting from you look at your arm.
Might be the most fresh starter guide ive found so far.
Thanks for making it
I appreciate the comment, thanks
Shadowfax and Shadowmere from the Pribyslavitz stables (From the Ashes DLC) are just as fast as Pegasus and they have much higher capacity and stamina.
Plus they are not white! I hate those blinding ears when you ride through the forest with a torch at night.
yeah, when It's open I will change horses, and thanks for the tip
Good to know there are options if we have the DLC. Currently I’m using Roach. Could’ve gotten a better mount at the time but I just loved that they included Geralt’s horse as an easter egg to The Witcher. I believe there’s Epona too, Link’s horse.

Recently I found Podagros from Merhojed as my favorite horse, it's only tier 3 because the courage is very low but the other specs are reasonably high.
For me it has two advantages, instead of building the stables in Pribyslavitz I can go for the guardhouse (which gives a combat arena where you can sparr with different level opponents) and with all the best equipment except the horseshoes (second best), you get a top speed of 65, that seems to be the sweet spot for not constantly trampling the dog when travelling.
The courage will be 15 with the best bridle and max skill, that's alright.
Hey Ziggy, I am looking for a 100% Completionist Walkthrough. I'm 42 years old, and I've always been almost driven crazy if I miss a single obtainable item, or quest. I plan to buy the complete game with all DLC. Do you have a 100% walkthrough on your channel? Thanks for your time!
you're talking 100hrs. it's a little much there are so many side quests. I haven't even done them all myself
question why are you always in a rush? is there some time issue I don't know about? Or is it just your desire to finish quickly?
trying to make the video as short as possible. I mention that in the video to take your time. at the same time I want to show you how quick you can be
@ZiggyTheAdventurer perfect thanks for the follow-up, appreciate the effort you put in all this.
Bought this game years ago, never got far. Rage quit several times early on because I couldn't get the hang of lock picking. Drove me nuts. Your guide made me pick the game back up and see if this time I could get a little further than the prologue. Finally did and even got the lock picking down. Am about 1 hour 40 minutes in.🙂
One thing that is still driving me crazy though; archery. For the life of me I cannot get a hit with the bow. Standing on a roof with an enemy three feet away virtually motionless and I get about one hit for each 15-20 arrows (and those rare hits often just hit the armor of the enemy). I simply cannot do it. Rage quit earlier, might try again later, but I was having so much fun with your guide actually thinking this time I would really get into the fun. Stupid bow is ruining it...
That's obviously not on you though, the guide is fantastic!
well if you can make it to part 2, we upgrade the bow and it gets easier. As you level up you'll find it gets easier. hang in there bro, you got this
Can I follow this guide without any dlc? Or will I be missing out too much? I just bought the base game (discount on ps store)
it is base game friendly. you wont get the Warhorse gear from the DLC Treasures of the Past. but it's only cosmetic. also I only wear 2 pieces of it and just for color. not at all needed
@@ZiggyTheAdventurer thank you, the guide is awesome!
I’ve tried six times to ride to merhojed from the “run” quest start. My horse always without fail tosses his head around there and slows me down enough to let the bleed catch up. Devs might have soft locked it now.
make sure you have no saddle on, that's what's wrong.
Am i missing something the initail horse run to medj seems impossible bleed out just before hitting the castle every time
make sure you don't have a saddle on your horse. Put the noble saddle in your inventory and then drop the other saddle
@ZiggyTheAdventurer yup that'll do it haha must have taken me 15 tries without taking the saddle off. Loved the video great work very comprehensive when I paid attention haha
This was so helpful! My question is how do you remember all of these details? 🤩
once you do it 100 times it gets easy. 🤣🤣

I had 2 big problems starting my first run. I had no clue how to mount and ride a horse. There's not much time to read instructions with the enemy in hot pursuit. Henry died several times before I could get it figured out. Then I took the screen message literally when it read, "You are dead. Game Over." I thought that meant I had to start a new game from square one. I had smaller problems, one was understanding that 'tapping a key' vs. 'holding a key down' produces two distinct reactions. I also began with more than 10 years of keyboard and mouse habits so ingrained they were second nature. Those habits were hard to break for this game and got Henry into worlds of hurt.
Really? I would have thought it would have been the lock picking. That is what’s is kicking my ass in this game, I’ve been try to master lock picks for 2 days now😂although I did have issues with the horse like you said and making it to the town. Guess I’ll just keep practicing😂this is my second time trying to play this game I don’t remember it being this hard.

I hear lockpick is easier on PC platform which is what I have. I remember I thought lockpicking impossible when I started. It definitely got easier. I don't think I ever really got a knack for it as much as grinding away eventually raises skill level. The higher the skill level, the easier the task. To help with leveling make sure to gain bonus levels from the trainer and bonus levels from the ingame skill book series "Who Needs a Key?" Oh and it also helps to take the perk "Luck of the Drunk". With Alchemy skill you can make "Moonshine" to get snockered to activate the perk. Then use "Hair o' the Dog" to remove the drunken side effects. I also used "Padfoot" potion for the +5 skill boost. Getting all juiced up lets you open most of the very difficult locks even at a low skill level. With lockpick at 20, I don't use the potions anymore unless I'm trying hard to avoid detection and don't want any fumbles.
X to mount the horse and i think in the settings the console has an easy lockpicking option
Take the Speech boosts from Mom. The other stats are much easier and faster to level up. You won't see an immediate benefit, but it pays off in the long run.
I get the vitality for the extra speed, but all perks are optional and not mandatory to do this run
I have no idea how ur able to use the bow, i followed this 100%, and got to the point where you need to fight, and my dude cant use the bow, how?
make sure you take the strength perk, you have to have a 2 strength, you have to strictly follow me reading the books in Rovna. go back to where I met the guy on the bench and see how I got the perks 1:28:30
@ZiggyTheAdventurer thank you, I went back to the scholar, i missed a few books lol that horse is just something else.
Don't know if you know this... After the first Neuhoff investigation, Radzig will be heading over to the Merhojead Village. Sometimes (OFTEN) he will get off of his horse on his way, leaving it on the road, abandoned. If you find Sir Radzigs Horse. Kill it. He won't ever be using it again for his horse is BUGGED. It will remain there on the road for the remainder of your play through! The only logical thing to do at that point is to kill Sir Radzig's horse and take his unique and cool looking caparison (horse robe) for yourself!
For you are his knight and should fly his colors anyhow!! He aint gonna be using it anymore!
I have seen his horse there, but i never killed it, that's funny and profitable. good tip thanks
@@ZiggyTheAdventurer Hey and I wanted to say good job! Your videos strike a good balance between humorous and informative.
Watching your videos makes playing this game all the more enjoyable.
I hope you keep making more KDC content!
@@talonsimmons8715 that's so kind of you to say. it's kind comments like this that make doing this rewarding. thank-you very much 😊
Hmmmm I can't get lockpicks from fritz like you did...kinda fks most of the plan if you can't get lockpicks. Ah I know what I did wrong. I didn't try to open the chest so it never queued it
you have to go into Kunesh's house and look at his chest
You're a dab hand, Hal
you're doing Dabs Hal, lol
I've played this game for a long time and I still play trying different ways... And if you want to get rich easily you have to go back to skalitz over and over again
I like the place south of Rovna, there's a better place to hide, a place to save and an easy way to retrigger the fights with quick travel, and closer to Sasau where I can sell the stuff. did you see the Pribyslavitz video where I made 100,000 groshen fairly quick ?
ruclips.net/video/et4IBQpEQp4/видео.html
Pribyslavitz it's also easy but in skalitz with a bow you can defeat all the attackers and you usually get better equipment.. just go to the porch where you find the dog when you go to bury the Henry family there they can't attack
but in south of Rovna you can use the little hut to fight from, go over the roof if you get wounded and they lose sight of you, you can save and heal in the hut, and just down the river a bit there's 40-125 damage arrows. and I usually find all the same gear there. but where ever you get the golden spurs if fine with me
Following along im at 1:15:52 pretty fun lol. 😒10 days in talmberg prison
yeah, been there a few times myself lol
I didnt know you could drink a skill potion and unlock more training!!!!
if you have 5 water you can hit E while on the potion and make 5 out of the one and when in water the alcohol effects are naturalized too
Je ne peux malheureusement pas enlever la selle 😢
then you picked the wrong horse, make sure you're getting the right one
I can’t get the lock picking on x box
I play on PC, but i hear it's a nightmare
I'm on PS4 and it's brutal too. I just wait till the ball is closest to the center, for me it's easier.
@@passionflower4594 yeah if you don't like where it is just disengage and restart until it's in a more favorable place
this isn’t the guide for controller because lock picking is damn near impossible
yeah I've never plays it with a controller but I hear this a lot. All i can say is it wont take long to level up and it will be easier
No more saviourschnapps to start and cant make the ride to merjohed anymore
I'm pretty sure if you save and quit it will be like a saviorsnapps
@@ZiggyTheAdventurer Sweet that worked
I couldn't unlock merhojed kept bleeding out
you have the saddle on, make sure you put the Noble in your inventory and drop the plain saddle. you don't even need to drop it, just make sure it's not on the horse
Thank you!, that worked
Warning if you can’t master lockpicking this method won’t work for you.
if you're not good at lockpicking always save before you try, then you can make as many mistakes as you want
Don't forget to turn on "simplified lock picking" in your settings. It makes all the difference on consoles.
@@KentWoodsMusic I tryed that seemed to be harder 😂
@@ZiggyTheAdventurer yes sir I’m saved at the one In Henry’s house been stuck on it for 3 days, I’ll just keep grinding I’ll get it eventually. I don’t remember it being this hard the first I tryed playing this game. I ordered some of those Kontrol Freeks precision rings for the joy stick’s maybe that will help. Thanks for the advice.
I believe you get XP even if the lock pick breaks. So, just haggle all the way down on lock picks & the Miller will give you the best price IF you have the Final Offer bargaining perk. Then, work on very easy / easy chests (even if you break the lock picks you’ll still get do) until you make it to level 3 lockpicking. Once you get to that level, chests get a lot easier - I’m on the Xbox :’) and I got it. Plus the Lasting Lockpick perk becomes available and that will carry you the rest of the way. Good luck 🫡
Has anyone figured out your Canadian accent yet? 😃
I have an accent, lol. I never noticed but I think you got me dead to rights 😆...eh!
Too many commercials to be watchable, otherwise great info/run
yeah sorry, that's out of my control. I've even un-monetized videos and the commercials are still there. 😒
State of YT. Not Ziggy's doing. You'll even see ads on vids that you know are demonetized. (Police brutality/crime vids) YT trying to push everyone to premium.
@Poppa_Capinyoaz I agree, I liked what I watched. He's very entertaining and has solid information. But I couldn't bring myself to continue after the 6th commercial within 30 minutes. I meant it more of an FYI. I'm all about hosts getting their due for the time and effort. Either it was poorly implemented and intentional, or Ytube being Ytube.
I think I followed him based on what I watched 😜
Also, if he was unaware, then it might help explain the view timer drop-off.
Normally, I would just never say anything like most listeners 😜
I'm looking into this issue, thanks for pointing it out as I imagine you're not the only one with this problem
More like Criminal quick guide from someone who already clocked 10k hours in this game. Not doing this and also this does not work for hardcore mode.
I actually have about 2.5khrs on this game. and I have mentioned in some comments that all the stuff in here isn't available in hardcore. So no, this isn't for everyone. but really what is ?
Took about 4 hours of playtime to do on my first ever run sounds like a skill issue bud 😂
The way this video starts has me confused as fuck! What are you talking about ? No intro? No explanation about what you're even looking at?! I'm gone
sorry it's not a story playthrough it's a guide
You still go super fast, I keep having to pause and rewind the video to make sure I'm keeping up with everything you're doing, you just navigate the menus and dialogue too quick. For next time go slower please
will do
@ZiggyTheAdventurer still, THANK YOU. Huge thanks for doing this at all. I hope you're able to do the same for kingdom come 2 and many more games.
@@sygyzy0933 Just figured if I went to slow it would be too long. I might do a new one as I have a new PC now. So if I do I will go slower.
It's perfect speed for just watching but I'm def gna set it to 0.75 or 0.5 playback speed for when I follow along lol
great, then I'll sound drunk, lol
