Ah well it's a grand bike . Staffordshire Triumph are good to deal with , my brother has bought bikes there and highly recommends them. I think you have the best of both worlds now , a back lane bimbler and also a motorway muncher in one package . Happy travels Shotto !

I had a 2019 T100 for 3 years and PX'd about a year ago. I loved that bike and miss it dearly! I suspect I will probably have another at some point. Enjoy it, it is a truly lovely bit of kit! Be prepared to have a lot of people stopping you at petrol stations to talk about it!

Ah Keith..... to me, owning a motorcycle should be a total love affair....otherwise, what is the point. You need to experience the ups and downs just like any relationship. You enjoy your new love mate, dont look back and go burn some rubber off of those phantoms!
They seem quite good. I can't recollect having them on a bike before. To be honest It does seem more stable than the Classic 350, perhaps down to the bigger rubber. Ride safe👍

Excellent choice Keith 👍. Single disc makes it handle better than the T120. Single throttle body makes the fuelling better too. 54bhp is plenty. And the 3750rpm peak torque sweet spot gives 70 mph in top (5th). 80mpg is easily achievable too 😊

@@shottostravels Mine was the later 64bhp version but riding it back-to-back with my Father in law's Bud Ekins I couldn't tell the difference to be honest. The torque figure was identical by the way.
@@PhilipBallGarry I might be wrong, however I think most of that extra power comes at the top end on the newer bikes, like yourself I rode a mates newer model back to back with my 54bhp 2020 model and just could not tell the difference as I simply do not thrash these retro bikes. I personally went for the older model because I wanted the chrome wheels.

Well Keith , that’s fantastic,love the bike the colour scheme, yes looked at the t100/120a few times but weight and size for my parking area are restricted, had a t100 2004 a few tears back sold it cause wife could not get along with the rear pillion seating, however I am a hunter owner now and it does my job at 70, but really pleased for you, cannot wait for more travels, take care be safe NW biker dude, alias Bay Bimbler
Hi Mate thanks for commenting. Glad you like it. My wife doesn't come with me anymore so the pillion seats comfort isn't too important. I do have a comfort seat for it, I will try that in due course. Did 250 miles, yesterday. I did stop a couple of times to relieve my oncoming numb bum but it wasn't to bad compared to some others I've had. Ride safe Mate and keep bimbling👍
That's a great looking bike. Out of all the Triumph range, I think the Bonnie's look great and potentially be my next bike when funds allow. I have no connection with Staffordshire Triumph but have found them really friendly and helpful with no sales pressure, a dealer I would trust. Looking forward to your impressions on the new bike, it does seem to tick all the boxes.

Nice colour. I like the t100 but most of colours I.m not keen. Like the orange and white as well. I sold 350classic as I prefer the 500trials which I.ve had 5yr now. Had a street twin for just a month. I was very cramped on it. T100 would have been better or the scrambler. May have one at some point but at moment I have gold star mahindra 😂

Hi Mate, as is the case in many 'specials' not that much! Paint, Badges, Triumph logo is there logo from the 60s. Bar end mirrors and handlebar grips. Led indicators, Monza filter cap. It has a posh certificate signed by his daughter's and The triumph chairman Nick Bloor. So truth is, mostly the paint job.

Very nice Keith, you have dropped on a cracking bike there buddy, I can’t fault you for that it’s a fabulous engine in the T100 ( same as my Speed Twin) better than the 1200 in my opinion, I definitely agree with you about the Triumph feeling much heavier than the figures would suggest compared with the 350’s ,obviously it has a higher centre of gravity but it’s still not a porker 😂 now you just have to start saving up for a 350 Enfield and you will have the best of both, Oh yea,, you also have to convince the misses that you really do need two bikes 😂 all the best buddy 👍
Thanks for that Mike. I did ride a T120 and thought it was wonderful but it was very different to ride. Not in a bad way, just different. I decided to go down this route and I am pleased with it. Did you quote the torque rate right Keith because at 18nm it's got less torque than your classic which had 27nm of torque ( Just checked the specs and I must have misheard you it's got buckets of torque ) :D

Ian, I've just been playing with our Kindle. I rekon I've sorted it. It's the image quality setting on your Kindle. When you watch the video , touch the screen and then, touch the settings/gear cog at the top right hand side of the screen. I bet it's on a low setting! Change it to 1080 than click OK. I hope that helps, Let me know ? 👍

That’s a lovely looking bike good for you nice in red and white I’m looking at getting a T120 end of this year to go with the rocket can you tell me where that tunnel is coz I’d like to ride in the tunnel in my car and come out in a Porsche 911 😂😂 I just fancy a change of car although nothing wrong with one I’ve got 😂boys and there toys if it’s not bikes it’s cars 😂but what else is there in life anyway great choice great bin I love triumphs take care and enjoy

I would say don't discount the T100, ride both. They look the same but somehow ride quite different.
Absolutely nowt wrong with the T120 but I was surprised how different they felt..

Very nice Keith, you have dropped on a cracking bike there buddy, I can’t fault you for that it’s a fabulous engine in the T100 ( same as my Speed Twin) better than the 1200 in my opinion, I definitely agree with you about the Triumph feeling much heavier than the figures would suggest compared with the 350’s ,obviously it has a higher centre of gravity but it’s still not a porker 😂 now you just have to start saving up for a 350 Enfield and you will have the best of both, Oh yea,, you also have to convince the misses that you really do need two bikes 😂 all the best buddy 👍

I did ride a T120 and thought it was wonderful but it was very different to ride. Not in a bad way, just different.
I decided to go down this route and I am pleased with it. I think the main stand could do with being 6" further forward.

Damn I guessed that wrong I was sure it would be a goldstar the T100 is not a big brother more like the big daddy you'll forget all about enfields the bud ekins looks amazing not sure I would want to ride through a British winter though congrats

Did you quote the torque rate right Keith because at 18nm it's got less torque than your classic which had 27nm of torque ( Just checked the specs and I must have misheard you it's got buckets of torque ) :D

I rekon I've sorted it.
It's the image quality setting on your Kindle.
When you watch the video , touch the screen and then, touch the settings/gear cog at the top right hand side of the screen.
I bet it's on a low setting!
Change it to 1080 than click OK.

Buying a Triumph is a major mistake.Poor to no support from dealers,parts almost impossible to get ,reliability highly questionable.
