I'm curious about how much fluid you're finding in the catch can. I've seen quite a few forum posts stating that after even 5000 miles folks with the 2.0 are finding little to zero in the can...

Hey Alberto, question, how often do you have to empty the oil? When you do empty the oil do you have to unscrew everything again or it is easily accessible to empty the catch can without taking anything apart?

I will be curious also. I understand that depending on how hard you are on the throttle, you may need to empty the can every 4,000 ~ 5,000 miles. (according to a friend that also has this installed). I am just going to incorporate the process of emptying the can every time I do an oil change.

    What exhaust do you
    Have looking for myself?

Alberto, what size tires are those? They look beefy!!!! Did you re-gear to enable larger tires? I have a JLU Sport-S with 2.0L Turbo as well, and I am following in your footsteps. Also did the 2.5" lift, and now installing the oil catch-can (thanks to this video). My next mod would likely be re-gearing to 4.88 *and* installation of a TrueTrac diff in the M185 front axle. Depending on how I like the TrueTrac, I might eventually replace the LSD with another TrueTrac in the M220 in the rear... Thoughts??

Have you noticed a change in your engine characteristics with the Catch Can installed? I installed the same catch can on my JL 2.0L, but my engine seems to be running harder than w/o the Can. It feels like it takes more effort to get up to speed, my MPG has gone down by 2-3 mpg, and it went from smooth shifts to more labored and delayed shifting. Any ideas?
Edit: I think it was in my head, read below for a slightly more detailed explanation.

that is so surprising. Thanks for sharing. I haven't installed mine yet and now I'm hesitant. Did you find anything on it?

    • @Razgris06

@@wissamharb5684 I think it was just in my mind. I failed to take into account the increasing temperatures in my area (100*F and higher) and running the A/C wrecking my MPG. I had started driving the Jeep in December, and didn’t install the catch can until the summer heat started appearing. So MPG issue solved.
As far as the shifting? I remember reading a bit on how the 8 speed transmissions can be kind of wonky sometimes. Sometimes it feels like it’s trying to “search” for which gear to be in, which can cause some delayed or labored shifts.
Overall, I’m satisfied with the product, and I think what I was experiencing was just in my head.
