Please don't give up on My Adventures with Superman in the first 6 episodes, the show had a rocky Start, the first episode was not that good and the end of episode 5 almost made be drop the show completely, but it's worth it to Stick to the show, I love how they fixed the ending of episode 5 in episode 6 and there was some really great episodes efter that. Worth a watch.
i definitely believe Gunn and Safran knows who they want to be Batman. they might not necessarily have a contract or anything like that in place, but if Gunn had Milly Alcock in mind for Supergirl for over a year, he knows who he wants to be Batman i think

I think Alan Ritchson is good, he's 6'3 and David as Superman is 6'4 and Superman is an inch taller than Batman. This is accurate, and don't forget that we will be presented with the Bat family and Batman must be huge and taller than them.
"Swan's Books" is a shout out to long time Superman illustrator Curt Swan who was the primary Superman artist of the 1960s,70s,and early to mid-80s before the Superman comics were rebooted under John Byrne's direction in 1986 after COIE.
They learned from the DCEU. If a character is not popular or big enough for big screen, then make it a TV series; if the character is too expensive for live action TV, make it animated. And that tells us what to expect from Booster Gold, Paradise Lost, and Lanterns.
Excited for Green Lantern & Booster Gold! Would be funny if they make a call back to the JLU episode where Booster Gold gets mistaken for GL all the time haha! Can't wait for Gunn's DC to kick off with Creatures Commandos! Glad to hear it will have hand drawn animation. Was hoping the Watchmen animated film would have hand drawn animation!

So we already know that this is the Release Dates so far, here we go! DCU Chapter One Gods and Monsters December 2024: Creature Commandos Season 1 July 11, 2025: Superman October 3, 2025: Peacemaker Season 2 June 26, 2026: Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow I believe at San Diego Comic Con during the Hall H panel we will get the schedule for when Waller Season 1, The Authority, The Brave and the Bold, Booster Gold Season 1, Paradise Lost Season 1 & Swamp Thing will come out in Theatres & stream on Max. I think we will also get the other half of Chapter One Gods and Monsters projects revealed as well. The reason I placed Peacemaker Season 2 to start streaming on Max on October 3, 2025 is because that was The Batman Part II original release date, and I think they are keeping that.
Holy crap The Blue Beetle animated series and Creature Commandos as to what will come and how Gunn wants to create connective tissue throughout live action, animated, video games vice versa. I am liking the layout Gunn is creating for the new DCU. I am more excited to see the live action representations of Frankenstein and Dr. Phosphorus because Hellboy (2019) and I'Robot (2004) with David Harbour and Alan Tudyk are my favorite. The make-up, CGI look for those characters amplified the performances for there respective films and see that repeat with them playing new characters in Creature Commandos the details are going to be good when they release the look of the characters somewhere down the line.
Frankenstein appearing in superman perfectly lines up with your reverse kingdom come story, bc Frankenstein is pretty much a hero. He rights wrongs. It's what he feels he was created for. But, he doesn't do it in a classically heroic way, so his inclusion would be another clear example of heroes that have strayed far from what Superman believes a hero should be. As well as the authority. For this point to come across to viewers, there will definitely need to be more prime examples outside of the engineer. The anti-hero characters in creature commandos would fit perfectly. I also think metamorpho could be one of those as well. With characters like Mr. Terrific, Hawkgirl and Guy gardener being among currently prolific heroes that approach superman or even lending a hand because they believe in what he stands for.
I argued this point on another persons page ,he got mad..His point was DC did better in the Snyder era and James Gunn movies and stuff since bombed..He left out the Batman (his reasoning was its not DCEU or DCU) I said add batman into your list of movies and then look at which movies made more and which made less and you can see it was Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman that made the most money..the movie making less Shazam, Suicide Squad, Birds of Prey, Blue Beetle,..the ones that made the most money are prominent characters everybody knows..the others are lesser known to people, James Gunn seems to like the more obscure characters...Animated show is probably a far less expensive way to get some of these characters some exposure.
Could easily see Waller show up in SUPERMAN. She is a government official so makes sense if there is something other worldly or monstrous goes down. Rick Flag Sr makes sense too as her #1. However, they are not monsters and the name of this chapter is Gods & Monsters. So maybe Bride & Frankenstein run into Supes in the movie. Or maybe Supes already knows them from a cameo he made in Creature Commandos??? James is cooking
My guess for the creature commandos character in superman is doctor phosphorus as Tom king mentioned that he’d appear in a movie a while back. I also think he’d work well as an opening villain for superman to fight.

it would be cool if they had a toy man easter egg in the movie if they had a Schott family toy store in downtown metropolis set. there could be a parasite post credit scene where we go back to lex Corp and see Rudy jones introduced as a janitor and he eats a dounut and feels the effects of an experiment done eairer in the movie to the dounut box and his arm begins to turn pink ending there .
Superman artist Curt Swan was the inspiration behind Dr. Virgil Swan who was played by Christopher Reeve. Virgil was Dante's guide through Hell in Dante's Inferno and Dr. Swan was supposed to guide Clark.
A few years ago people were suggesting David Corenswet as the next Superman. I didn't know who he was at the time, but when I saw his pictures I could see why people wanted him as Superman. I keep seeing people say that Brandon Sklenar would be a great Batman. I had to look up who he is and I really don't see it. I don't get why people are suggesting this guy as Batman. Is he good at playing a tough guy or something?
'm very excited for Blue Beetle, the movie wasn't perfect but Xolo was great so I hope he's back or if not Ted Kord version Metropolis is looking amazing I can't wait for the future to see Gotham and Central City Watchmen is tied with The Crow as my favorite Comic book and it's in my Top 5 favorite movies so I'm very excited for the Animated adaptation, I had no idea the trailer was out

I'm still disappointed that andy muschietti was chosen as director for Batman: The Brave and the Bold. He directed the flash movie and it was bad. He's not a very good director and I don't think he's suitable for Batman. It would be a major failure if the first Batman movie in the dcu failed.
If creature commandos is connected to peacemaker season 1 isn’t that breaking canon? Does that mean the suicide squad is canon as well? I feel like the general audience will be confused.
@dro2k728 hi you have to consider how the flash movie explained the time lines in DC ( we are in new time line however some elements from old time line are carried into the new time line ) suicide squad is not canon,peacemaker season 1 is also not canon but some elements from it are carried into new timeline as well you have to know that canon for new time stats with creature commandos
Eh I kinda wish they casted Xolo as the DCU's version of Cisco Ramon/Vibe. Next to John Diggle, Cisco was the best part of the Arrowverse. If they brought him in with similar character traits but with better writing, it would've been a great addition to the DCU, in my humble opinion.

I'm really scared, that the other heroes will take away from it being about superman. I haven't seen James Gunn be able to do anything other than an ensemble story. I really don't want Suoerman to be an ensemble film with other heroes. Just him, the Kent's, Luthor, Lois and Jimmy should've been enough but why start a universe with other heroes already existing. I know that suicice squad, blue beetle and others exist but superman should be the beginning no?
There are two DC updates that I want to share :- 1-Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires animated film will be released on Max sometime in 2025 2-According to collider , the new DC anime tv show tilted “ Suicide Squad Isekai” will release the first 3 episodes on Max and Hulu on June 27th 2024 with every new episodes to follow every Thursday
Given the writing team and Danny McBride, im guessing booster gold will have an edgier tone with r rated humour similar to peacemaker. His shows generally have mean spirited jokes, raunchy humour and arsehole like characters but that is part of its charm. But i dont know if it will appeal to a broader audience.

2-According to collider , the new DC anime tv show tilted “ Suicide Squad Isekai” will release the first 3 episodes on Max and Hulu on June 27th 2024 with every new episodes to follow every Thursday

Given the writing team and Danny McBride, im guessing booster gold will have an edgier tone with r rated humour similar to peacemaker. His shows generally have mean spirited jokes, raunchy humour and arsehole like characters but that is part of its charm. But i dont know if it will appeal to a broader audience.
