After the Mario movie, I hope there's a post credits scene featuring King K. Rool to set up a movie for DK. If not him, I think they could do a Star Fox or Metroid movie. I'm just a little too attached to the legend of Zelda. I'd rather Illumination/Nintendo create 2 blockbuster hits before doing Zelda (phrasing)

Yeah but then you would have to kick out all other 3rd party characters and one of the main ideas in smash is to introduce new characters that aren’t just apart of the Nintendo universe

Nintendo's stock is up 3% today after the company announced that it will be following in Sony's footsteps and producing its own movies and TV shows. Shareholders are optimistic about this new direction for Nintendo, and believe that it will provide the company with a diverse revenue stream that could lead to even further growth. Some skepticism remains as to whether Nintendo will successfully pull this off, but at the moment investors seem confident that the company will find its way with the help of Sony's playbook.
After watching the Mario Movie, I believe they will use cartoonish aesthetics for a Zelda movie (like Minish Cap or Wind Waker)
I like most of these projects, I think the detective Pikachu sequel could be about Pokemon going missing, and leading up to a epic action battle. Metroid could be a more serious movie then the others and can be pg-13.
The legend of Zelda could explore hyrule and have Ganondorf turn into his bigger form.
Kirby could explore king dededes character and have bandana waddle Dee stand up for Kirby at some point and get out of his comfort zone.
Mario kart can have all of the movies prescriptions, and be really fun.
The only one I don’t think would work would be knuckles the echidna. I think it would be way better as a tv show and show knuckles past.
