Melendy Britt saying, "I am... SHE-RA!" made me tear up. 34 years of loving that voice.
You are adding Years it has been actually been 32 Years since 1985 it is 2017 now.
@Official Tru-Dru *maybe his talking about his age*
+google inc the Voice of He-Man (Cam Clarke) is old as hell too.
IKR? It takes us back to when cartoons were actually fun.
Official Tru-Dru Cam Clarke is the 2000 era He-Man, so nobody cares LOL
John Erwin is the only one that matters, man!!!
Alan Oppenheimer, is the classic Skeletor. No one else can be Skeletor like him.
And no one can be Man-at-Arms like him, too...
He was also Dr. Rudy Wells on the TV series "The Six Million Dollar Man" the first two seasons it was on!
William May He has the best villain laugh of all time IMO.
@@Hodaris_Darlin I don't know, Mumm-Ra is up there alongside him I think too.
@@randywarren7101 He was also the original Alistair Crane on the soap opera Passions.
Hearing Melendy Britt say ...I am She-ra made me cry...I love you Melendy, thank you for showing little girls that we could be hero's too! I'm 39 years old and you can still ask my mother and sister what my favorite cartoon IS....SHE-RA AND HE-MAN!
YES WE HAD A WONDERFULL CHILDHOOD IM 41 AND HEAR SOMETIMES MOTU TO SLEEP TODAY WHY NOT
She is SHE-RA in the real life!
R.I.P Linda Gary (Teela, The Sorceress, Dree Elle, and many others).
Along with George DiCenzo and Lou Scheimer
@@nobodysperfect06 and Larry DiTillio and David Wise
@@nobodysperfect06 George DiCenzo was also Lorraine`s father in Back to the Future
LAST CHANCE HAVE YOUR VOICE ACTOR
My God, Alan Oppenheimer is still alive!!
And now in 2021 he's 91 years old and if you've seen The NeverEnding Story, he was the voice of Falkor, the luckdragon.
As of February 2017, the only surviving Filmation cast members that are still alive from He-Man or She-Ra are Allen Oppenheimer, Meledy Britt, John Erwin, Erika Scheimer (Lou's daughter) , and Diane Pershing. Kinda wish all 5 can get together for a reunion before it's too late.
Stephen Holloway John Erwin is very unlikely since he refuses to do conventions and refuses to do interviews as well, he is very severely extremely reclusive
I also teared up of hearing there voices again, and seeing them now in real life. LONG LIVE HE-MAN AND THE MASTERS!
Jeez... Melendy Britt over 70. Oppenheimer pushing close to 90.... may the years treat me as kindly as it has those two.
forceinfinity Oppenheimer looks just like Man-at-Arms.
Hinatachan360 His normal voice sounds like him too. I love seeing him pop up in old TV shows like Bonanza & I Dream of Jeannie, it gives me a kick. 😁
70!!!
Alan Oppenheimer will be 90 this year.
For the honor of Grayskulll...Melendy's STILL GOT IT!
I can certainly forgive her voice cracking at the end.
Floymin Yeah, in her 70s she's bound to not have as strong a voice anymore, especially for something so emotional for her, so to be able to do it all is still amazing.
Cue the Crowd CHANT "You still got it" in unison.
30:29 The REAL She-Ra! 😉
Señora de Mendoza chills bro... chills... just needed the she ra music after that
and now im 10 years old again
DUDE!!! This guy on the end, Orko/Mechaneck, is doing the absolute MOST!!
She-Ra needs a movie!!!!
would only be ruined by hollywod
He-Man as well. The first one did not count. lol
The Secret Of The Sword
Listening to Melendy Britt speak and hearing she-ra
Yes.
I never realized until now how amazing these voice actors are. I wish John Erwin had been there... I love the voice he gave He-Man.
eightiesgirl100 And people give the original voice actors flak.
1:38--"Good to see you as well, and I am Melendy Britt, and I AM SHE-RA!"
*OH YEAH!!!*
1:42......I became a six year old again
why the hell have they not done a original he - man reunion show ?!
no remake no reboot but an old school cell drawn cartoon movie.
how cool would it be to see a original he- man cartoon in 2017 ! anyone else agree ?
They did it with the new Batman animated movie with Adam West.
you'd have to find someone to mimic the other characters.
there Is one person that is no longer with us that is Linda Gary who voiced Teela, Evil-Lyn, Queen Marlena and the Sorceress that is probably why they haven't a reunion show
@@scarboroughjames7 that is sad but death is life . Obviously re cast the voice actors .but would you have rather seen old school cartoon style animation or what we got with he man revelation .
Wish Kevin say my comment before he gave us that abomination !
The voice actors will always live in are hearts . They gave us such a gift !
1:14--Alan Oppenheimer's Skeletor snicker said it all!
WOW What a Wonderful Panel I love it. I really wish that they could get John Erwin even if it is once.
Thanks for sharing this Pixel Dan, great to hear She Ra's voice and I didn't know she did Catra too, awesome
JonJon-81 She also did Mermista & Octavia. What an amazing talent she is!
She mentions Scorpia too, but I thought that was Linda Gary that did her.
I love that these panel videos always end up on youtube for those of use who can't go to the 'cons. But I really wish those hosting the panels would record an official, high quality recording with much better sound. I have to turn the volume up to hear the panelists and then I have to turn it down whenever their is an applause or cheering.
This was awesome dude! I would love to go to one of these conventions at some point. They seem like a great bunch of people... Melendy is as great as she ever was!
Alan and Melendy are amazing. Hearing her voice made me tear up , I love them both. Thank you Dan
Yes.
Power-Con is such a treasure. Thanks to all involved.
Thank you for recording such a wonderful panel!!
Dan, thanks for filming all this stuff t Power Con!
Alan and Melendy, WOW!! I'm a child of the 80s and it's magic watching these legends. OMG how good was Melendy at the end?! I would LOVE to hear John boom 'I have the power!' but I know he's painfully private. Still, wouldn't it be amazing to have John, Melendy, and Alan on a panel together? Sigh!! Don't know that I want my children to watch this new She-Ra series - no excuse for not asking Melendy to voice the character again!
Jane Doe after looking at the art and reading what little comes out on it, she might have dodged a major bullet.
Yeah...true :/ Well, I guess He-Man has been butchered in a reboot and now it's She Ra's turn...
Jane Doe He-Man hasn't been butchered in a reboot; the 2002 series was amazing. She-Ra, however, has been & it's a sad, sad day.
William Sorrells You call it art, I call it 5 year olds drawing pictures for kindergarten.
Seriously though, in one scene Swift Wind is cross-eyed & in another everything about SJW-RA looks crooked & uneven, the worst part is her eyes, mouth & nose are off centre of her face when she's looking directly into the camera. It's disgraceful! And people make fun of Filmation's art... 😒
Jane Doe Instead of someone brilliant, talented & classy like Melendy, we get a THOT millennial, who called critics who don't like SJW-RA sexists, doing our heroine's voice. SMH
this is amazing... thank you for posting this
I started watching He-Man and She-Ra in the early 80’s and i feel nostalgic as a grown man still liking these classics. It was a privilege to have watch this 80’s cartoon every Saturday. Morning cartoons. Brings me back memories.
Bring back She-Ra!
Jennifer Pruitt They are unfortunately it's not the original it some SJW crap reboot.
Mark Fair what no way, oh wait are you talking about Netflix DRAG-QUEEN series. Seriously couldn't Netflix spring for a how to draw book for their so called artist, there are basic things that the female body structure has and I'm not talking about breast, face sculpt, shoulders, basic mussels positioning, there SHE-RA looks like Ben 10 in drag.
William Sorrells Somebody should buy Stevenson "The Dummy's Guide on How to Draw Female Humans" for Christmas.
This is great, but its very sad that John Erwin isn't apart of that. :(((
Did Mr. Erwin lend his voice to the handsome He-Man?
Yes, he did.
yup, but he is very extremely reclusive, very closed-off
Yeah he says he wants people to hold on to this strong image of He-Man and not want to ruin it by doing interviews showing he's just a normal guy.
Anybody up there NOT part of the original Filmation He-Man,She-Ra series has to know as good as they may be...there's only one series, it's the Filmation version.
Yo, you seen the new trailer?
@@BluenosedCash75 yes, looks really good. Alan Oppenheimer voices beast man which is cool. It would have been cool if he did skeletor again....I'll check it out.
@@joeb2588 I believe Mark Hamill is the voice of Skeletor, so not a bad choice by any means! Still, Alan Oppenheimer’s voice is iconic
@@BluenosedCash75 ah,ok. I will say that how many years later are we from the Filmation series and my brother and I, and also a friend of mine talk about how awesome Skeletor was. We still say he is the greatest villain ever!
That's an awesome panel.
so cool power con and voice panel
To this day. My brother and I still talk about Skeletor. The Filmation Alan Oppenheimer Skeletor that is. We find a way to bring him up at least every other phone call!
This is great to hear in 2021 so many great childhood memories.
2024.
It’s sad the voice actor for He Man doesn’t want to introduce himself or show himself
Melendy Britt was the Voice of She-Ra/Princess Adora in 1985 flim The Secret of the Sword like Helen Slater who Portrayed Supergirl From 1984 Movie, Before Terri Hawkes Voiced Sailor Moon/Serena Tsukino in the anime movies and Tara Strong Voiced Bubbles in The Powerpuff Girls Movie from 2002 Flim with Blonde Hair,Red Cape and Tiara
Yes, to all of comments.
I don't think they sped up Orko's voice. They altered the pitch but not the speed.
I always thought Castaspella was a Katherine Hepburn immitation. Melandy didn't do Scorpia though, that was Linda Gary.
Now my eyes are leaking fluid.......hearing Melendy Britt say that iconic “I am She-Ra!!!” again
Yes.
Love Alan! Always my favorite
They don't make em like Mr. Oppenheimer anymore 💀💙💜
Wow! Alan Oppenhimer when to college in Pittsburgh!
Just got chills when Melendy came as she ra
Yes.
The two Skeletors in one panel.
We get it dude... you played Orko , now let someone else talk!
And he's not the real or no.
I kinda wish he would let the others get a word in edgewise. ESP the original actors. I would have loved to hear more from them.
I’d say he’s earned the right to talk. He’s the one who got the job, he’s the one on the panel. He’s just trying to carve out a career in his chosen field so he’s probably excited to be there and see the fans giving him recognition for his work. Whereas this is a just a bunch of people in their free RUclips accounts giving unsolicited opinions. Give the guy a break. Like him or not, he’s the one up there.
ALL THE CAST
Melody may be She-Ra but before she was Batgirl in the New Adventures of Batman
I loved both he man and she ra❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
26:07 Nice answer from "Skeletor".
How often do they have something to do with Masters of the Universe at the Torrance Marriott? I wish I could have made it for their convention in Sept. 2017. I hope they have another convention real soon or at least in another year. Will they?
I hope He man gets another show, I also hope it turns out faithful and badass. Maybe one day a new show reboot will happen.
True about stepping up to microphone.
This is so gr8
My childhood!!!
1:15--That laugh speaks for itself!
RIP Gabe Khouth.
Brian your the best wish l could turn back time ..mouse!
You know Lou Scheimer who voiced Spirit/Swift Wind gave him a British Accent and yes Alan voicing Merman is like Seaspray from Transformers who he also voiced a British Accent.
Gabe is totally crushing on Melody.
Orko's VA is so cute!
Just out of curiosity, how come John Erwin (the voice of the original Filmation He-man) is never at any of these conventions?
Only explanation I found was "he is shy"
he is very extremely reclusive, a hardcore private person, another reason is because he is self-conscious about the image of He-Man, according to his mindset and perspective, he doesn't want to ruin and break the illusion of the character He-Man, doesn't want ruin the image and voice-combination and for people to see that he is just a normal guy. He has always avoided the public, he won't even do interviews either.
So if Erwin didnt come, why couldn't they have gotten Cam Clarke to show.. i like he's version of He man better any way
How does one enter the “voice only” scene? I’ll tell you now... I’m quite good at it. 🔫
I am shera.....chills
I'ma need Alan to give his opinion on Epic Skeletor
Melendy Britt kind looks like She-Ra and Adora. Did they base the character's look on her, I wonder?
lofthouse23 I'm not sure about that, however she was very beautiful when she was younger, she still looks good for her age now though. But man, I saw a picture of her granddaughter & she's an absolute stunner! 😮
CAMERA ON THE WRONG SIDE
Wheres heman
It would be cool if they had a thunder cats movie and other 1980s tv cartoons into life action for our. Generation please make them for the fans
four amazing people! it's no wonder what has made he-man and she-ra a fantastic property.
iconic John Erwin did the same like the famous german voice actor... they dont want anything to do with he-man anymore... but we all will know them for this the most... they really underestimate there part in tv and movie history....
The J-Man Yes, they do & it's sad. 😥
They should sang ''What's up'' XD
I Blame my mom because I was Born in 1998 but I love He-Man she- Ran For The Honor of GraySkull
She- ra rocks!
I think Ruben moya is the best he man voice ever. (Spanish version) Even in its original version.
final a new version of she-ra
Why were there two Skeletors?
Two different TV shows. Alan was the original voice actor from the 1980's show. Brian was the voice of Skeletor in the 2002 series.
VMIFerrari of course! I forget there was a reboot.
The 2002 reboot
Julius Maloney 2 reboots your forgetting about the new adventures of he-man,
@@williamsorrells6058 that wasn't a reboot it was a continuation of the old series. Skeletor is meant to have had his skull burned I think and becomes robotic.
i just woke again
who does he-mans voice n where is he?
@JustForTheLordJesus- John Erwin did the voice of He-Man, as well as Beast-Man. I believe he sometimes did the voice of Ram-Man and Webstor. I've read that he's a very private person, that's a reason why you haven't seen him in any interviews or at any reunion shows. I believe he's 81 as of this typing.
JustForThe LordJesus Cam Clarke did his voice in the 2002 series.
@30:29 WOW!
I am She-Ra!!!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
where is John Erwin?
From what I understand, he's a pretty private person. He probably chose not to show up. Which is fine. I hear he's a pretty nice guy, but kind of "keep to himself."
@@ClarkeMarek more than that, he's very extremely reclusive, he won't even do interviews
I had heard something like that.
@@ClarkeMarek even though this guy was not a voice actor, the late Steve Ditko, the co-creator of Spider-Man, he was very severely reclusive as well and kept himself out of anything public related, John Erwin is the same
Where is He-Man!
John Erwin is a recluse. He doesn't do conventions or interviews.
who does the voice for he-man???
John Erwin. He also did Beast Man and Ram Man. According to Oppenheimer, John doesn't do conventions.
Cam Clarke. I think he was busy with a one-man show this year, which is why he wasn't at Power-Con. Though, he was filmed shortly afterwards for a MOTU documentary.
zilla2006able There's also Gary Chalk from the New Adventures of He-man and Dolph Lungren from the Masters of the Universe movie.
Yea to 31:07 SHE-RA.
This is nice but they don't sound the same anymore
Angel Diablo I think they still sound amazing. 😀
8:41 this breaks my heart to hear her say that because of the horrible new “she ra”. Bah. It’s not even close to She ra.
"British accent" Erg!
piece of my childhood leave it alone did not redo it leave it as is yes Melody Britt still has it
2 cominnt
It’s obvious unfortunately they would have to re-cast the other VA’s that are no longer here or are very private (like John), but it would of been so amazing if we had the REAL VA’s like this behind the OG characters for a REAL reboot of them from the original source material!
Not whatever that new bootlegged Netflix She-Ra and Revolutions He-Man was supposed to be. (Sadly those two versions are made up of fans who never even saw the originals and thought they were always that way, and the people behind both versions of the reboots never even saw the originals and took them and turned them into something they aren’t. YUCK. 😣😔 So many of the original REAL fans hated these versions because they changed so much about them to the point it isn’t even the same, they only do these things sadly to cater to the new generation who don’t even know ANYTHING about the original and end up ruining it, a different team who never even seen it and everything. Why not get the original people behind the shows to do a REAL reboot instead of new generation people who don’t know anything about these shows turning it into something it’s not?
Melendy and John are the ONLY He-Man and She-Ra, PERIOD. (John is understandable as he’s private but if you can’t get someone close or even Melendy as She-Ra, there is no He-Man and She-Ra.
Hollywood needs to leave these things alone if they can’t be bothered to do them the RIGHT way.
Look I can talk quick everybody clap
"She's great in the bedroom"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Is she #Adora..?? She doesnt sound as #Adora neither as #SheRa
Joaquin Phi She's in her 70s, mate, her voice has changed a little; everyone's does when they get older.
