+Alex Palmer I`m a little confused , how is it that She-Ra is only allowed to kick & He-Man is allowed to punch? & shouldn`t She-Ra`s sword be bigger than He-Man`s? I don`t know why , but some how I kinda like both He-Man & She-Ra , & I`m an only child , but I wish I had siblings to share them with!
Sister Gothel I don't know. I haven't seen them in a long time, so I don't remember how they fought. The only difference I remember in their swords is the gem in She-Ra's. Either way, good times.
Growing up watching this i can say that it compared to no other cartoon. It was very unique and stood alone. I remember going to see Heman She ra movie when it was released in the mid 80s. Iam 34 now, and last week i was at A Target store and saw a He Man Dvd set for $5. Now,my 5yo son and I watch it together and i get to explain the cast and plots to him. I also still have my action figures
I remember turning on the He-man cartoon for my nephew. I was out of work at the time and giving my sis a hand watching the boy lol, and getting seriously addicted to the cartoon myself ha ha ha, and I'm happy to say I'm still addicted to this classic 80s cartoon to this day. As well as She-Ra ! Wonderful cartoons for kids that delivered great messages at the end of each program.Very well done to the developers and artists who created these classic cartoons !
My daughter who is now 10 watched this with me when she was a baby and loved it so much. I have a vid of here walking back at fourth dancing to this when she was 3ish. So cute! Thank you our memories!
man I miss this show and animation. I'm so impressed how they were able to capture human movements in the cartoon. I never see any of today's cartoons have that feel.
@@jruoff5184 fuck you on about, thousands of new fans, myself inlcuded, have been on a MOTU bender because of Netflix's adaptation. The adaptation got an entirely new generation back into all the classic characters and stories. They're all great shows, especially the Dreamworks series, and it's gotten me excited for the Netflix He-Man continuation.
@@jruoff5184 also how elitist of you to say something like that. What, you think Lou and Erika Scheimmer wouldn't be proud that their series has reached a new generation of fans and very strongly resonated with them? Come on, man, be better than all that. He-Man's about love and understanding, not being grumpy.
@@umjammerlammy9993 Aside from that salty burst at the start of your comment, I really am very gladdened by the rest of what you say. As an appreciator of the original series, & of the epic great fairytale & mythos of lore it created & was ( the straight out of a classic Brother's Grimm transcribed fairytale meets Shakespearean drama tale of fated to be heroic twin siblings, a brother & a sister, separated at birth when the sister is abducted by an evil warlord/warlock, who carries her away to an "otherworld" etc. etc. ): as much as I have enjoyed aspects of reboots, including the 2002 MYP He-Man, the 2018 She-ra reboot, & even some aspects of the hilarious ( but a little too foundations lore defiant for my ideal ) CGI He-Man Netflix just released, my concern ( especially with some of the toxic attitude & divisions that have emerged from small but obnoxiously vocal subgroups from both the old fandom & the new ) has been that the new versions might start to erase the epic original source material on which they are based & from which they directly descend. Your comment here really encourages me that that won't be the case, & that new versions will do exactly what ideally new versions of an old & epic fairytale/mythos/franchise should... expand the fandom & revive interest in the roots, while adding new entertainment. So glad people are giving a second look at the He-Man & She-Ra: Secret of The Sword movie, too!! 2025 will be its 40th anniversary, and I hope Dreamworks makes a BIG revival party deal out of it. It really doesn't get the credit it deserves for what it was & is: the FIRST ever theatrical masters of the universe feature film!! The first ever He-Man movie, the first ever She-ra movie, the only animated He-Man or She-ra movie to date, AND, while not a box office blockbuster, a HUGE success, in that it made over three times its production cost ( made for $2 million, but it earned over $7.6 million during it's 2 month run in theaters, outperforming the long recognized as classic original Transformers movie in both gross & net, & making a much better net profit than the live action He-Man of 1987 ). Also, I love this song, it's so 80s, and has ample tastes of the classic Neverending Story theme music woven through it lol. Awesome that Filmation president Lou Scheimer's daughter wrote the lyrics & is the co-singer of the duet.
I enjoy watching these episodes as a child, and relive the beauty, magic, and love as an adult. I love everything filmation brought every day to children everywhere, lessons of kindness,, forgiveness, and how we should treat each other. These messages of values, is missing in today's world. If people will take the time to instill these moral values to their children, our society will be better off.
80s filmation He-man was just pure goodness. If you want MOTU to be more harder then check out the 200x version or read the comics. I hate when people say that He-man is gay or corny! It's just wrong! If you want to keep it real! Before MOTU came to filmation I remember reading the mini heman comic and seeing a barbarian he-man killing a monster to prove himself champion of his tribe. He couldn't act like that on T.V in the 80s. It's like how the Teenage Mutant Ninja turtle became kid friendly for TV .
Thank you, efetim for uploading this, and to Erika Scheimer for making this. Memories :-D I grew up with the Flintstones, the Jetsons, Felix The Cat, etc.; then as I grew up I was drawn to Filmation as if I was a kid again :) This is among the greatest of all cartoon franchises. Thank you!
Noam Kaniel is the male singer. He also sang the Italian version "Il segreto della spada" which, in my opinion, had a female singer who was even better than Erika
+Sister Gothel Why the HOSTILITY!? IS SHE a better woman than you! Seriously I not a fan of celebrities but you sound BAD! I just love the SHOW! No harsh feelings ok!
Jay Morel It`s just that they made She-Ra lighter and more loving because "Fanatsy" is 'inferior " to " Science fiction" and they expect her character "Frosta" drives me crazy
Just wondering if any of you notice the lyrics almost sound like if it was a Christian Hymn? Or at least it sounded like it wanted to be. Very inspiring lyrics worthy of listening and following its message.
You can tell she loved working on the show, especially this song & is very proud of it. 💖😊 But, she must be so heartbroken over what's happened to her father's wonderful legacy with the shitty remake & how the makers of it have crapped all over the original. 😔
I was suprised to learn John Erwin who voiced He-man was not a singer.....they never said if the actress who voiced She-ra was a singer or not. I'm guessing not since Erika did the singing in the video. I know Erika didn't voice She-ra it was someone named Melody ( I think, not 100% sure) but Erika did voice some of the characters on both shows.

+ Alex Palmer Why aren`t you answering?
I am 40 years old now and watched She-Ra over 30 years ago and I still enjoy it today.
I'm 41 years old, I like the new one better.
The song, on the other hand, does rock a lot. You can't go wrong with Saban & Levy.
I'm 44 and still watch He Man and She ra.
I've even seen all the remakes but nothing beats the original series of both.
Ha I'm older than the others I'm over 50 and I still love He-man and She -Ra.... I have the Power

Wow. I didn't think it was possible to miss the 80s more than I did. Now I know better.
44 year old man here and I still watch this movie .... its my all time fav !!! and this song damn ... the 80s rocked

Agreed
After 30 years, i learn about one of the most magical songs that enriched my childhood.

Nope,sorry.
+ Alex Cros Sorry for what?
The song is magical and I have always loved it.
Just an amazing masterpiece I HAVE THE POWER!!!
I remember watching the music video on MTV back then.
Love that song, even after all these years it still gives me goosebumps
She-ra wasn't given enough love.
True and sadly now thanks to SJWs and Netflix..... she is getting shit on by the "Princesses of Power"

I’m more of a West Ham fan myself.
The actress who voiced She Ra is Melendy Britt

They also both sang a French version, but the TV channel used a cover made by 2 other artists :(
Beautiful song. Need cover or remix to young generations

Stop being gay.
Indeed... a Christian Hymn with Neverending Story tune vibes & featuring in an epic He-Man & She-ra movie, I'm with it!! lol
