    Carol Burnett was so perfect for this part...she is just so good for these kinds of roles...it'll be a sad day when she stops working.

    Even when he was playing Balki he sang all the time. Go back and watch the series, you'll see how often he sang as that character or was very theatrical... and did it damn well! Perfect Strangers entire series is currently on Hulu if anyone wants to check it out again.

    bronson should do music. he is really good. id buy his cds. he could do all broadway or anything in this style.

    Original lyrics and music were written by Stephen Sondheim for the Broadway production. It was later adapted for the screen. Mel Brooks directed the film, but he did not write the music.

    Mel wrote some of the best Musical Theatre/Movies of our time.
    History of the World Part One,Blazing Saddles,Silent Movie,The Producers etc....

    I don't know why they bothered trying to caption the song when the person doing the captioning has no idea what the lyrics are. It's just an annoying distraction. 😡

    That's incorrect. This is a Mel Brooks Musical not Stephen Sondheim. Mel Brooks! Zero Mostel is Mel Brooks best friend. So yea
