There are several factors that determine the costliness of cities in Turkey: tourist attractions, accommodation costs, restaurant and café prices, general living costs, and the economic status of the city. Generally, popular tourist destinations like Istanbul, Antalya, and Muğla are among the most expensive cities. Smaller and less known tourist cities are usually more affordable. In general, the ranking could be as follows:Istanbul,Muğla (Bodrum, Fethiye),Antalya,Izmir,Ankara,Bursa,Çanakkale,Balıkesir,Aydın (Kuşadası),Mersin,Adana,Gaziantep,Eskişehir,Konya,Trabzon,Kayseri,Samsun,Amasya, Diyarbakır,Şanlıurfa,Hatay Less known and less developed tourist cities are generally more affordable. Having viewed this video the prices are still very good depending on what you want to eat, drink, etc. Just shop around for prices and don't be afraid to haggle if purchasing clothing, etc

If those prices are reasonable? So I'm afraid to visit the rest of Europe. The hotel I was in Dresden in 2019 was a good price, now it's 5 times more expensive. I was shoked.
As an expat from US, I have been living in Antalya since 2022 and in just over 2 years, prices for everything has tripled and there is no stopping it. I think its just the beginning. Come back in 5-10 years and you won't be able to afford it here, even if you come from a western country. Their currency will continue to tank, but that doesn't mean your foreign money will have more purchasing power. In fact, its the opposite. When I first came here, I priced everything to dollars and it was about 1/5 of prices in US. Now it's 1/2, which compares to places like Portugal/Spain. To me, it's not worth it anymore.
