    can we use synergize wax after ceramic coating?

    • @OSRENOfficial
      @OSRENOfficial  Год назад

      We don't recommend it. Rather use a spray sealant like the hydro ceramic shield. We avoid any harsh solvents as much as possible and spray sealant happens to be the safest.

    DEAR SIR.. i BOUGHT A RADIANT 12 AND APPLIED IT AFTER CHEMICAL CLEANING AND SURFACE PREPARATION, BUT DIDNT GET GOOD RESULTS. CAN YOU KINDLY ADVISE ME A PROCEDURE TO APPLY THE SAME TO ET BETTER RESULTS? THANKS..

    • @OSRENOfficial

      Hi Sajeev, what do you mean by chemical cleaning? Application of wax is fairly straight forward, apply and allow to cure according to the instructions and buff evenly.

      @@OSRENOfficial Thanks a lot for your response sir. Yes, grease removal, iron removal, shampooing, drying, then medium cut by machine and surface cleaning using IP solution. This is the procedure I do this before polishing. I applied your radiant 12 using applicator. I waited for 10 min as per the instructions to get a hazy look. But instead I saw patterns like swirl mark and had to further cut it off by using a medium cut liquid paste using machine. I didn't take a second chance with your product, but used another mirror glaze to produce a glow. I wish to know what went wrong in applying your product, which I tried for the first time ever. I will be glad to get a convincing reply from you, as I regularly test new products to enhance my experience. 🙏

      @@kreeds1595 Based on the information you provided, it seems like you might be experiencing swirls or streaking on paint. You will need to identify the phenomenon.
      For swirls I would suggest under proper lighting, a warm white spot light (has to be warm light spot light, not a fluorescent/flood light) to inspect the paint prior to applying wax, after polishing. Finish it down with a lesser aggressive finishing.
      For streaking, best to apply wax thinly, it should just suffice to create a thin layer on paint. Buff with a m/f towel thereafter. If streaking still appears, wipe with a damp towel, followed immediately by a dry m/f towel.

    Wax better or using sio2 spray for new car?

    • @OSRENOfficial
      @OSRENOfficial  4 года назад +1

      Hey Shaun, depending on what you think 'better' is. For many, time-saving and ease of use is 'better', that's where sio2 spray sealant fits their need. Some enjoy the process of waxing, hence conventional wax would fit them better.
      If features wise, you may read up on reviews of certain waxes or sio2 based sealants to decide. The centre of this video is to help understand the characteristics of the waxes or sealants you may look out for.

      It is possible, however liquid form is still the easiest way to spread.
      For paste wax, use the small applicator foam and dab onto the paint. Use a soft pad on a da and spread.

    Great job explaining a confusing subject ... 2 Questions
    1. Greasy waxes "Zymol Glasur" that are harder to remove and leave a "haze" on black cars typically on the hood after it heats up, any tips for removal or prep that would cure that problem?
    2. Will you be doing a video on Sealants and wax layering?

    • @OSRENOfficial
      @OSRENOfficial  6 лет назад +1

      Hi Bobby, we havenever come across such incident before...hmmm it's weird. A cured wax should not haze up.
      It's best to consult the manufacturer.
      It's a good suggestion on wax layering. Perhaps we can consider. That said, sometimes, different solvents in wax/sealants will actually weaken a cured wax (depending on formulation). After all solvents in wax are there to keep wax in spreadable form (keeping it from solidifying inside the packaging).

    • @bobbybass7972
      @bobbybass7972 6 лет назад +1

      Its well documented on-line, after you pull the black car out into the sun, the hood hazes over before your eyes, even with a 24 hour cure, it can be removed with a wash but I was trying to prevent it from happening in the first place.. Zymol is no help in that regard which is a "warm" wax as you described .. Same thing happens with Autoglym Hd wax btw which is a "shine cleaner wax".. I always thought it might be a residue issue from some left over oils from the final polish?
      You're the best bro, I didn't know sealants can weaken the wax, wow good info..
      I really wish I could order your products, but being in North America the shipping would be too much.. If you ever start distributing Osren products here I'll be your first and most loyal customer ..

      Bobby Bass ah. I think I misunderstood you.
      If you are referring to streaking, you may try to use the 2 microfiber clothes method during buffing. 1 damp cloth to lift the oil up and one dry microfiber cloth to buff away the residue.

    • @bobbybass7972
      @bobbybass7972 6 лет назад

      I tried that with "detailing spray" made more of a mess than anything.. I'll definitely try water next time, cold I assume ? Zymol Glasur is extremely difficult to remove, it pulls the hairs from regular microfiber and smears. I have to use Griots Garage PFM waffle weave war removal towels to get a lint free finish..
      You're the only Dude on youtube with a true depth of knowledge of the craft of detailing .. I learned from this guy, and you teach the same, I did these two cars with him..

      Hi Bobby, Kenneth here. May I know when applying the Zymol Glasur, what was the ambient temperature and humidity like? For slow drying/curing paint protectants, the ambient condition as well as 'dryness' of the paint is crucial. For an extreme example on recreating this haze, it has just rained, the air is very humid, temperature is low, harder for water/moisture to evaporate and I apply the wax right after washing and drying the car, this would easily make the wax re-haze.
      A method I like to use but can be very time consuming is, after washing and drying the car, hit the paint with hot air from a hair dryer, this will rid the paint of TRAPPED MOISTURE from its microscopic PORES. Next, apply the wax, let it dry. Again, if your ambient temperature is low and humidity is high, hit the waxed surface with hot air, allowing it to dry thoroughly and buff off. Let it dry naturally for about 30 minutes(the paint shouldn't have any visible wax at this point), hit with hot air and buff again. The key point is reducing or eliminating MOISTURE.
      I've tried using glass cleaners, light IPA and quick detailing sprays, while these would fix the problem temporarily by cleaning off the top layer of haze, the underlying problem is still there, the MOISTURE trapped underneath. If there is streaking, I actually prefer leaving it until the next wash where the streaks would wash off easily. If it's a customer's vehicle, then hit it with a light IPA or a quick detailing spray(one that has more cleaners than wax)before delivering the vehicle. You should also get better durability from the wax this way. Hope that helps!
