I'm in the same camp - much prefer to play with people / solo multi-handed rather then using bots. Bots are another system to learn, I'd rather stick with the base game itself 😀
BTW, I've uploaded a my rules re-write of the game's BGG page, maybe you'll find it helpful?

I will take a look. Anything that helps me to learn this game better, is a good thing.

@@XLEGION1 Good luck. Oddly enough, my sister mentioned the game 2 days back as an example of one she still didn't understand the rules of movement of🤣 That's like 3 years after we've played it last...

I like bots but didn't think these were very well explained

    I didn’t understand it…. I just couldn’t…. So many things to do… I couldn’t enjoy it.

"A masterpiece in every sense of the word..."
Except for the wooden blocks, my pet peeve. You already have counters in the game; why not replace the chunks-o-wood with counters with actual artwork. You prefer people to bots. Well, I say "People not meeples."

One fellow replied to me and said that he had posted to 'make up' counters in the files section. I downloaded them, and may try mounting them up on good quality stock and printing them out.
