Do I need to upgrade the Intel Celeron 430 processor from the HP Pavilion DV2000 to an Intel Core 2 Duo, do you think it's possible, or which processor is supported to upgrade the HP Pavilion dv2000?
I already switched the HD hard drive to a solid HD SSD.

@@PCcom-me2bv I already tried everything with the HD SSD, I tried to install by the windows tool, the pendrive and the cdrom, none worked, the machine to the windows logo for a few minutes and off.
I formatted the HD SSD on another machine but it stays frozen on the screen the logo and does not boot, so I thought updating Bios would work.
Or if I know that it is possible to upgrade the processor by putting I do not know ... a core intel or core 2duo, what do you think?

akash, I have exact same model too. what i did is, I removed the 512 mb ram "stick" and purchased two 1 GB "sticks" and put one in each slot. just make sure the ram can run at the correct frequency before buying.it's safer if you buy older ram, i.e secondhand ram .

Yes, this laptop is compatible with SATA SSD.
This laptop has an adaptor connected with HD. Removed it from HD and install in SSD. I have made it on my laptop HP. The SATA is 2.
