Grandpa's Truck: 1989 Chevrolet C2500 Scottsdale

Long bed, standard cab. This is the layout of a pick up truck that I would love to own. In fact I did! I owned a former CA Fish and Game trail truck much like this, a low spec, 3/4 ton GMT400 truck. This example is a single long term owner, low spec but highly loved example of a neo-classic GM truck. Maybe I'm just a grumpy old man that yells at clouds (I am) but my heart sinks when I see trucks like this compared to the friggin' monstrosities Chevy is selling now, with the Chrome Cliffs of Dover grille and the engine compartment where you need a stepladder to check the oil. Get offa my lawn.
