Thanks for the idea and inspiration. I am going to try something like this to break up long wood fence lines in my back yard and to help make a backdrop for special planting areas. And maybe get a flowering vine like clematis to grow up parts of it.

Save time and do all the staining before cutting the strips.
I love this project! I bought the plans and started making it yesterday. Did you sand the wood before staining?

So can i build this with just the glue as havent got s stapler gun?
You would need to be able to clamp the joints in some way so that they are secure while the glue dries. Otherwise it won't be a very strong joint and the glue might not hold
@@MamaNeedsaProject ok cheers so woyld the glue hold through the winter living in wales it cold and rainy 80% of the time or varnish it? Tia
Need to clarify that the plans for the Honeycomb and only available on your site for a cost and are not free... Found the invitation very misleading @0:13 in this video.
How big was each piece of the hexagon?
How ever big u want ut i would assume . Just make sure there all the same size..

What color is your stain?
This stain I used was an interior stain, but I recommend using an exterior stain instead. The color on mine faded quickly in the sun. The color I used is Golden Oak by Minwax.
Just falls apart.
