Saw these guys open for Mastodon about six months back, I didn't know they existed until then but once I left I instantly looked them up and I've been hooked ever since.
Starting with one of their most BADASS song ever written they have become one of my dearest band of all times since i can relate with their music so much and i do a very similar instrumental music style myself but with a goth Doom metal and dakrwave aspect to it now i like using more my BLACK SG for it but i do adore Mike's Custom Les paul of Honor as well a lot🖤 let it be the singer always hey Mr Sullivan
Feels like these new songs are a bit more fleshed out than those on Memorial. While I liked the "shorter" song approach, some songs felt like they were lacking something.. for Russian Circles standard. I already like both of these. Afrika ( starts at 8:35) is a real beauty while Calla (48:50) just hits you in the face songs like Geneva and 309 do. Awesome, I'm really excited for this album now!
Harper Lewis, 309, and Geneva are such bone-ownage songs. Glad they put them all together on the playlist. They could have just added Youngblood (my favorite Russian Circles song) and it would have been perfect.
look like a great gig, and something i would have enjoyed immensely. for 90% of the time I don't like band's lyrics or vocalists, I'd prefer more guitar, Saxophone, keyboards or whatever. But there are also, bands that would be pointless without their vocalists, and then there's brilliant solo artists such as Dave Bowie. just noticed this was on my Mum's 72nd birthday, she would not like this.
In the middle of the set the drummer was doing like a "rock steady" beat? As a drummer I really appreciated that. Just found out about these guys and I really dig it. Thanks..... Shameless plug. Check out Mr. ENC on spotify if you like surf-goth. RUclips videos of our stuff will be coming.
I agree but personally Im kinda a fan but I don't think id ever go see them live again. I saw them as an opening act back in 2005 and had no idea who they were but their music wasn't bad but it was a boring experience. The only instrumental band Id pay to see again is Animals as Leaders. Their instrumental but way more technical and actually gets me moving and pumped up personally.
14:16 the devastated expression on the face of a freaking mad perfectionist who just played ONE wrong note.
This band is unreal.
0:00 Deficit

It was amazing experience to see them playing live.
so sad that their concert usually less than 1h30, they have too many great songs
I'm so embarrassed for not knowing about these geniuses until today... I'm speechless, this is incredible! Thanks for sharing.
Can't wait for "Guidance". With Afrika, Calla and Vowel already available this will be another record I will eternally listen to.
7 years later and thei are still rocking with amazing songs. I still prefer Station, but Gnosis is awesome.
The new songs are incredible!
+trpkktrllng Especially the first one! Happy days, the new album is on the horizon!! Great video by the way.
+Łukasz G can't wait for the new album. Hopefully they will come to Malaysia.

It's hard for me to get into instrumental bands but these guys rule.
this channel is GOAT - thanks for the greatness
thanks for the upload! must've been amazing... i hope i'll see them play live someday
Do everything you can to make that happen...it's so worth it.
Bill Burr mentioned this band. Cool sound. Drummer is ridiculously good.
Donald Landon Where did he mention them?

That's rad! Awesome comedian talking about an awesome band.

Winding Warpath pretty sure they were encoring with Youngblood. I saw them in Boston and that was the case

Anyone else some Mitch Mitchell in Dave Turncrantz's drumming style?

What a terrible cameraman.
I respect but i don´t like this kind of music,to much boring for me.But the drummer it´s awesome.

their first album is very progressive, but they became less complex (in a way) as albuns goes on.
im still very fan of all their work.
