Mick’s post-video thoughts… 31 March 2017 “I’m writing this after a couple of weeks’ worth of getting used to the board. It may also answer some questions arising, so it might be that you’ve been directed here after asking a question in the comments section. “I’m still a long way from having this all dialled in exactly as I like it, and it’s a learning curve every day. Every rehearsal, gig and messing about session opens up something new. But hand on heart I have never had a set of guitar sounds that have this level of ‘depth’ and ‘integrity’, for want of better words. All that stuff we keep saying about clarity, articulation, definition and so on may not be instantly obvious in the video, but hearing it in the room is amazing… and it’s important to say that it isn’t for everyone! It’s a question of personal preference, taste and experience to date.” Preamps & Drives “The combination of Kingley preamps with regular OD/fuzz pedals offers a level of tweakability for every shade of gain and/or headroom that I could ever want. The flip side of that coin is that there are some ugly sounds in there too, and we stumbled around the edge of some of those in the video. We’ve noticed a issue or two with levels and impedances combining the pedals, preamps and loop returns - you can hear that a bit in the video from time to time. In fact the FX loop return sensitivity is probably the biggest issue of all. The Lone Star and V40 are fussy with their loops it seems, and I’m genuinely not sure why that is; the Two-Rock Studio Pro 35 is the best performer in this regard: literally no issues at all. It might be that the ultimate solution is a stereo / dual mono power amp, but we’ll see how that develops! “We’ve also just acquired a MkI Boogie which I think might be the ultimate wet side of the rig… It never ends!” Delay “The what-delay-pedal issue is ongoing. As good as the Reptile 2 sounds, again there seems to be an issue with the input level/impedance from the preamps, so it’s been swapped out temporarily for a Strymon El Capistan since we shot the video. I like it, but I can never get the wet/dry mix how I like it, so I really want to see if an Echorec works, maybe the new Belle Epoch Deluxe when it arrives!” I’ll add to this as time goes on….
What a way to start the day... 1h that I went as smooth as butter! I love both the building part and the demo part. It sounds really good; I definitely saved this video because I will come back to it later. Happy Birthday to Mick. Thanks guys!
+Steven Conrady Thanks Steven! Glad you're finding the show useful and hopefully a little bit inspiring to want to pick the guitar up. Thanks for watching!
+Geir Byre It's pretty special. It's funny. Hanging out with Dan, day in day out, you start to take it for granted. And then every now and again you have a reality check. It's pretty cool to have such a cool mate! :0)
Its great to follow you two guys! Very inspiring for a pedalgeek like me. But... it is expensive too... Too many pedals (if that is possible?) Good work, Mick!
That Pedal Show is the reason I just bought a candy apple red Tele with a rosewood board. It's a monster of a guitar. Can't wait for the day when I cross paths with a sonic blue Strat as well!
Before I've seen TPS, TBH I've never had an interest in getting a tele. After seeing Dan's playing, I will keep an eye out for a red tele. I already have a Fender MIM Crimson Red Metallic Strat which satisfy some of my strat needs. (I have other strat types that serves other specific needs in a s-type.)
Hey guys I just want to say thanks for all the videos you've done to date. Today was a great example of how a proper board should look and sound. You've helped me completely rebuild my 15 year old pedal board from the ground up and redefine my 'sound'.I am getting plaudits from my band mates for this change as well. just need a D&M drive to finish it🙂
Awesome and beyond informative as per usual from That Pedal Show. The whole GigRig system, powering and all, is a work of sheer genius. and Happy Birthday Mick!
In the nicest possible way: Damn you guys! Every time I hear a good modelling amp demo and start convincing myself that they are good enough, I come back to one of your videos and instantly the illusion is shattered.
Happy Birthday Mick :) Your great attitude, enthusiasm, and wealth of knowledge that you share with us (your "fans"), has helped me greatly in my pedalboard build and pursuit of awesome tone that would cause Dan to get misty eyed, lol! Hope you find the perfect delay for your board soon.. Cheers buddy!
+Sean Dalton Ah thanks Sean! If our wittering inspires you to play more and sound better then we're doing our job. So glad you enjoy the show - thanks for watching!
+That Pedal Show. Happy Belated Birthday wishes Mick, from Australia. It's great watching these videos. You learn so much about better ways to do connections etc. as well as seeing the pedals demoed in your usual videos. Pedals were starting to hit the market in a big way (1970s) when I was a kid learning and you just never knew exactly how to connect them up or how they worked with others you may have. It taught me some bad misconceptions too. Now as an oldie, I'm kinda envious younger players can see videos like yours and jump 10 years in experience in one video sitting. But that's great as it also teaches us oldies how to do things properly and get a better sound. For me, it's helped to go back to older settings and re-jig things in a better way. Also keeps my mind open to new emerging pedals and sounds.
Hey guys! Love the sound! Is it possoble to give a detailed, written description, or diagram, of the effects chain? It would be awesome to be able to see how everything is wired and working together. Thanks a lot.
this video makes me want to rebuild my whole pedal board, very inspiring. Your pedal board looks awesome but sounds even better and to me the sound is what makes a great board
+Stuart Skaggs Ah, best not discuss the Panerai. My proper watch is being repaired... and this... well, holiday in Turkey 15 years ago... it should go in the bin really. Oops.
Stuart Skaggs; Re: Mick's Panerai (and board for that matter) "It has been my experience that folks who have no vices have very few virtues." Abraham Lincoln
+Stuart Skaggs Ahahahaha!!! I bought that Seamaster with some share money the ex wife (Future Publishing) gave me in 2000. Should have bought a 335 and three Klons....
hey i have a custom version of the Maiden because i asked Simon to include a boost that actually acts as eq lift, in line with the Dumble amps. Simon used a Juggler enclosure so that the boost can be footswitchable in the same unit. The amazing thing is i used this preamp, and the Page Ods, with the Fryette Power Station. Kingsley preamps with the Power Station used as a power amp sounds amazing. Please try it i think it is a better result in respect to using the return of an amp. This combination sounds amazing at low volumes too! I also have another custom preamp from Kingsley based on Vox TB preamp plus an OD side. Amazing!
+That Pedal Show Have you considered trying the Fryette Valvulator GP/DI? It very much interests me as a spastic-friendly alternative to the (discontinued) Fryette Sig:X, given the weight of the Memphis 30 combo, and its Saturation control is something you would love to explore.
dang..... at 27:45 it gets BEAUTIFUL.... !!!!! brilliant job, well done..... brilliant playing, well played...... i joined both yall in a moment of joyous awe and giggling !!!!!
Fascinating vid guys but as I am a complete novice with pedals and boards etc, so much of what you discussed went right over my head. What is the 'wet' and 'dry' that you kept referring to? How about a vid about making up your very first board with say, no more than five or six pedals. Great show though guys and please keep doing them.
+Paul Twiselton We are planning a 'basics' series Paul to cover all this and more, but we don't want to call it that because it sounds a bit condescending. Any thoughts?! Wet basically means 'with Reverb and delay (and sometimes modulation)' Dry means without all that stuff. So one amp (wet) carries the reverbs and delays and the other doesn't. Sounds huge! Cheers and thanks for watching!
I wouldn't worry about being condescending. Look how well the "For Dummies" series of books does. I have a shelf full of them for various subjects, my pride be damned! The important thing is I know that the material will be (should be) presented in a way that I can understand and I've learned plenty from them. That said, you should call the series, "Pedals for Plebes".
That Pedal Show As others have said, not condescending at all and don't worry about it, it's all in the honest open passionate educative format you always have. The 'for dummies' is a brilliant theme, giving informative clarity through the morass of types, terms and tones.
now this video is seriously good. informative... and more than just the average "this pedal vs this pedal". really enjoyed seeing Dan talk about various techniques, even something as mundane as velcro.... I learnt something!!! and I'm a pretty jaded bloke who's been playing for over 35 years. well done guys, keep up the great work
That is THE thing in which I haven't invested. you guys would throw rocks at me if you saw the old battered bag I use to carry my pedalboard. It's on duct tape version 3 or 4.
I've been running a Kingsley Maiden and Kingsley Constable on an A/B to the loop of my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe and the tone is miraculous. Simon is a true craftsman. Love your new board, Mick. Was very happy to see that the Maiden made the cut. Great preamp -clean or pushed. Cheers.
The discussion near the end reminded me of my realization that my board is my own version of a zen garden. It changes and evolves and its constant change IS much of the joy.
My wife offered to watch this with me in an honourable attempt to engage in my musical pastimes. Unfortunately it has backfired and she is more convinced than ever that we are all loons - the particular highlight was her hysterical laughter at the cable making section and Dan's passion for SIS plugs :-)Oh well, as you were... great video guys !
A very handy episode indeed! Thanks for all your great episodes guys. I'm sitting back with a few mates now sinking a few tinnies and learning more cool stuff while the water levels rise around us in crazy floods here in far northern New South Wales. Thanks again guys, you rock!
Dan, you're a genius. I'm amazed by your attention to detail here, even having thought out what would be the best way to stick the velcro/pedalboard-tape to the pedals. Very, very awesome. You guys are great! Thank you for posting this, much appreciated!
How serendipitous it was this morning when the notification of this video came through! I've spent the last couple of days building my pedal board, based around a QMX 10, and obviously The Gig Rig Generator et al. Pedals are still arriving daily, as last minute orders for a Timelord, Doubler, and another Isolator go out to Gig Rig U.S.A.! My poor planning- sorry Dan, I should have listened more intently to your statement of "plan, plan, plan". One thing I can say with certainty is that even in early testing- I've NEVER had better tone! The pedals all sound so much more....... that's the best description- MORE! Thank you gents for the inspiration to embark on this journey, and no....... I'll never go back to a life without a pedalboard! Cheers! p.s.- When can I get a D & M Drive? I've got a spot waiting.............
+Francis Gori Good on you Francis. Mick here. Dan would always tell me how much better everything is when the power is properly sorted and you have a quality switcher. I knew it was true, but it wasn't til my own ears started hearing it regularly that I finally understood properly. Good luck with the build! D&M Drives looking like May. Thanks for watching!
Happy birthday Mick. Loved the switch up style video today guys. Going to buy a shirt now. I look forward to you guys every Friday! Love from Coquitlam, BC, Canada!
Great show! Happy Birthday Mick and congrats on the new board. Dan is awesome building his boards. I have learned so much over the years watching. Cheers!
today for the first time, I watched the entire show, you were absolutely right, I initially thought that the vids were waaay too long but little by little I got into it more and more, awesome stuff guys!
1. I realise now That Pedal Show isn't only about guitars and gears, but it is also about passion, friendship, and giving. 2. One of the best sound I've ever heard from That Pedal Show. 3. Thank you so much for giving & sharing. 4. I'm just overwhelmed and couln't help writting this...
This seems like as good a place as any to thank Joe for his help and advice ahead of my purchase of some Gig Rig bits. Dan: your company is a pleasure to deal with!
Fantastic video - seen it at least six times now, and still I get new information from it! Simply starting as building a pedal board for a friend, and highlighting some of the issues, questions and solutions makes this a great pedal board 'construction' video.
Man what an amazing board.. I'm just drooling over how neat n magical it looks let alone all the amazing sounding pedals on it.. controlled by G2 arguably the cleanest, best, most efficiently designed switching system ever.. wow Guy's really impressed just stellar job.. Lone Star, Victory V40 both killer amps... Now there's no excuse ever for not being inspired just wowed
Just tried a reputable FX multi thing by a company that makes other rack stuff for a week...went back to my pedals. Your comment at 52:17 is exactly my perspective!
+Andrew Solomon Each to their own Andrew but we're with you. Love the ever developing nature of a proper pedalboard... and the instant tweakability. Hooray!
Just got round to watching this (sorry been a bit busy) this shows how as a musician and a guitarist we evolve. A belated Happy to Mick! Hope you had a good one... Can you remember it?
Wow... brilliant... There was so much there to absorb, especially in the beginning. Honestly, this episode deserves a second watch. I love the technical and assembly/organizational aspects of this video. I'd love to see more of your velco techniques (the triangle, riser, etc) and would have loved to seen an overhead view of the board in the build room (and yes, I realize how complex it is to make these shows, so I'm NOT complaining); some quick tutorial vids could fix all that! I can't believe the tones I was hearing. I wear decent headphones while I watch the show, and will have to re-watch with even nicer phones. I was awestruck. Well done, mates. You have definitely done it right. Thank you SO much!
Great video--great build!!! Really enjoyed this one...damn, Dan ---those were some seriously smokin' country licks!!! This is inspiring me to rip apart my current board & start a new one from scratch----thanx guys 👍👍👍
Hi Dan and Mick, You guys are costing me a fortune! I was quite happy with what I had until I started watching your show. Ok, maybe there was the odd thought about higher end stuff but generally I reasoned that it did what I needed so I didn't change anything. Then came TPS.... I now have 2 EP boosters (one always on), a JHS Charlie Brown, a Keeley Red Dirt mini and my T-Rex Tonebug reverb and Tapster tremolo have been replaced by a Strymon Flint. Now I'm trying to work out whether I want/need a compressor or not and where I could squeeze one in.... I should probably upgrade my power supply too! Anyway, thanks for everything. Your shows are always entertaining and educational: the perfect start to a Friday evening.
I have used 3M Command Strips with hook-and-loop to hold the pedals to the board. You can get the pedals off. They wont fall off. And when you want the adhesive strip removed it comes off cleanly.
Wow! So inspiring! Those sounds. I am currently building a pedal board and this just gave me more ideas. I been wanting to get the Maiden and the Page. This confirms that desire. Those sounds.
+Leonel Hernandez Good on you Leonel. I'm finding there's a bit of re-learning to do and so many options with the sounds... but when you're there, oh mama!
Great episode!! Fun to see you doing stuff outside of the studio. Would love to see an episode on good sounding setups for "quiet" home practice. Living in a flat, this is something I struggle with a lot.
good pedal boards are an investment (pro level stuff) - respect your craft...love evidence cables (been using them for years) AND absolutely love my G2...best of the best!!
Thanks for this, as I'm rebuilding my board at the moment and looking at power solutions to make it as easy as possible. Dan's GigRig stuff looks like it's just THE best you can buy. I've got the G2 and all I can say is that it is just amazing... I can send midi to my AxeFX and midi pedals as well as switch on and off any pedals I want AS WELL AS change any midi presets with one foot switch! Dan is an absolute genius and deserves all your money. Voodoo labs, MXR, blah,blah,blah... don't worry about that garbage... GigRig power is where it should be and where it should stay... and no this is not a paid advert. Cheers and thanks to the guys for being them, and cheers to you for caring about your tone. Much love to Dan and Mick
This was awesome!!! Happy belated birthday Mick! This was some amazing inspiration while getting ready for work. Thanks for the "how to" format. Really very helpful. Cheers guys, great work!
Happy birthday Mick. speaking of money- I purchased a boss es-8 footswitcher over a year ago. Now I have to save some cash for the gigrig! hey I did not know the gigrig existed till I watched that pedal show. good stuff. cheers amigos!
Damn! Mick reeeeaaally can play awesomely! And suuuch a greeeaat tone, dude! Absolutely splendid! Even the reverb was carefully treated, the sweetest I've heard in a long time! Congratulations to you both!
I'm gonna have myself some lunch, put on some coffee and then enjoy what I'm sure is going to be a great episode! Thank you so much for this wonderful show guys
What an amazing board!! To quote Dan "SOUNDS MEGA!!!" Great video guys, really loved going behind the scenes at the start and to see the board come together. Was great to see how constructing a board is done by two brilliant and amazing professionals. Keep up the great work and good luck in any future gigs!!
Would you ever consider doing a few segments on a person's specific pedalboard - troubleshooting power and pedal order - for boards that may have 10 or more pedals with varying power requirements and placement? I'll volunteer! Love the show and have learned a LOT from it. Thank you!
Mick’s post-video thoughts… 31 March 2017

I’ll add to this as time goes on….
Thanks for filling us in on the updates as they come along. It's great to see the work in progress. Keep it up mate!
+Luke Salamacha Cheers Luke. One thing I love about pedalboards is that they are always evolving. Thanks for watching!
That Pedal Show There is always the Echorec that TRex is doing. I hope you guys get that pedal.
Hey Mick, great show.... I'm glad to see you put the Magnavibe I sent you on your board. All the best!
+RJ_Connor I totally owe you one RJ! It's a FANTASTIC sounding thing. Thank you!
There is simply no-one else you could listen to talking about velcro for 5 minutes! A detailed delight.
Love it!!! Looks like you're missing a compressor, though! Give us a shout if you need one of ours, Mick!!
+OriginEffects :0) Cheers guys! Dan is in love with the Cali76 Deluxe. I'm dreaming of the gig where I need one. :0)
...I need a compressor!
Get in touch, Ben!
I been wanting a Compact Deluxe for a while now!
We better start building some extra pedals!!!
What a way to start the day... 1h that I went as smooth as butter! I love both the building part and the demo part. It sounds really good; I definitely saved this video because I will come back to it later. Happy Birthday to Mick. Thanks guys!
I love this show, I always keep learning new things about pedals & signal chains each time I watch. Thanks, Dan & Mick for all you do!
+Steven Conrady Thanks Steven! Glad you're finding the show useful and hopefully a little bit inspiring to want to pick the guitar up. Thanks for watching!
Happy birthday, Mick! What a birthday gift!! To have Dan putting together your pedal board, that must be amazing! That would have been my dream day!

Good work, Mick!
+Geir Byre Ask my wife. I come home, something else has arrived in the mail. I get the look. Oops. ;0)
this channel must be paid. this gentleman Daniel is doing a great service to the music.
People buy T shirts - that helps fund the show. Cheers!
That Pedal Show is the reason I just bought a candy apple red Tele with a rosewood board. It's a monster of a guitar. Can't wait for the day when I cross paths with a sonic blue Strat as well!
Hershel's Nub Bought a Sonic Blue strat with a Rosewood board last week because of this!! (and the Beatles)

Awesome and beyond informative as per usual from That Pedal Show. The whole GigRig system, powering and all, is a work of sheer genius. and Happy Birthday Mick!
+Eric Roberts Thanks Eric. It's quite the experience with it all firing that's for sure!
I haven't been this excited for end of week televisual entertainment since TFI Friday in the mid 90s.
+Davey James Smith We're right with you! Used to rush home from work to watch it! :0)
In the nicest possible way: Damn you guys! Every time I hear a good modelling amp demo and start convincing myself that they are good enough, I come back to one of your videos and instantly the illusion is shattered.
Can we have the same for Dan's pedalboard?
Happy Birthday Mick! I turned 52 this month myself. I've had the Velcro habit for years. A spatula does wonders when changing pedals.
+No Never 52 a GREAT year. :0)
Happy Birthday, Mick. Excellent video. I really enjoyed it!
+DiMo28 Thank you! Getting old doesn't seem so bad when you still get to goof off about pedals on RUclips. :0)
Happy Birthday Mick :) Your great attitude, enthusiasm, and wealth of knowledge that you share with us (your "fans"), has helped me greatly in my pedalboard build and pursuit of awesome tone that would cause Dan to get misty eyed, lol! Mick - your choice of pedals and Dan's remarkable wizardry have combined to create an amazing sounding board. Use it in good health.
+Alpha Kitty Thank you! The health I can't control, but the tones... oh yes! Thanks for watching!
+Chris Hepburn Thanks Chris. It's been very enlightening and inspiring getting to know it!
Great video! Mick I did get a chuckle when I noticed you wearing a Panerai after you said that money was a factor on pedals. #priorities
+Stuart Skaggs Ah, best not discuss the Panerai. My proper watch is being repaired... and this... well, holiday in Turkey 15 years ago... it should go in the bin really. Oops.
That Pedal Show your normal watch is a Seamaster, correct? Before you toss this one let me send you my address. I will also gladly cover the postage!

I want to hear the Kingsleys + Fryette Power Station... have for a long time.

What's the name of the riser they used on this board? I couldnt grasp it from the vid

"It's amazing how many pedals you can buy when you don't have kids." Ahhhh. So that's where I went wrong.
+intrsoul Priorities. :0)
World class players! The best pedal show ever! Time for a new Mick and Dan pedal!!!
Guys, the pedal case manufacturer is not listed. I like this case and would like to look into them.
That is THE thing in which I haven't invested. you guys would throw rocks at me if you saw the old battered bag I use to carry my pedalboard. It's on duct tape version 3 or 4.
Same here, who makes the cases? Can you give us a link?
CPB G2 pedalboard... only sold in UK though
we ship worldwide: www.custompedalboards.co.uk/
Do you know how many vids I watched looking for this info LOL. You'll be getting my money once I return stateside
Happy Birthday Mick! Tissue paper under the velcro was an awesome technique btw Dan! That is pure gold!
+john tone Cheers John!
Shut up and take my like good sirs.
+Kley De Jong Hahahha!!!! Excellent. :0)
Cheers.
+DrProgNerd Yes! Both Dan and I love the Maiden dearly. Does good things! Thanks for watching!
Those Kingsley pedals are truly incredible.
Awesome! The board is fantastic and sounds so great. Thanks for sharing! Your guys playing is killer. Dan's chicken pickin' slayed me!
+Judd Alexander ah, cheers J, used to play quite a bit of that stuff, need to brush up on it :)
The discussion near the end reminded me of my realization that my board is my own version of a zen garden. It changes and evolves and its constant change IS much of the joy.
Yeah baby. We understand that completely!
+Matt Davis Excellent work. Little by little Matt. It won't be long before she's asking you if you prefer the JRC4558D in your Tube Screamers.... :9)
A very handy episode indeed! Thanks for all your great episodes guys. I'm sitting back with a few mates now sinking a few tinnies and learning more cool stuff while the water levels rise around us in crazy floods here in far northern New South Wales. Thanks again guys, you rock!
+Luke Salamacha Our best to you guys. Awful what went down in Queensland - hope you're all safe!
Dan, you're a genius. I'm amazed by your attention to detail here, even having thought out what would be the best way to stick the velcro/pedalboard-tape to the pedals. Very, very awesome. You guys are great! Thank you for posting this, much appreciated!
Happy (much belated) Birthday, Mick! You certainly deserve that new rig. Great job, Dan!
+Shaun O'Leary Thank you Shaun!
That might be the most sweet and versatile pedalboard I've seen quite a while! Really! A huge palette of tones and nuances! Amazing! Greatly done!
That G2 system is a work of art. It’s almost like programming. You have all kinds of object oriented power programming going on. It’s gorgeous.
Happy (belated) Birthday Mick. Thanks for sharing the pro-build experience with us pedal geeks.
+Steve Comeau Cheers Steve!
Great show! Happy Birthday Mick and congrats on the new board. Dan is awesome building his boards. I have learned so much over the years watching. Cheers!
Really useful info - thanks! Best episode thus far!
today for the first time, I watched the entire show, you were absolutely right, I initially thought that the vids were waaay too long but little by little I got into it more and more, awesome stuff guys!
+Yang Jinhyuck Wow, thank you Yang! We're glad you get it like we do. Thanks for watching and we hope this is useful!
This seems like as good a place as any to thank Joe for his help and advice ahead of my purchase of some Gig Rig bits. Dan: your company is a pleasure to deal with!
+Dan Brazier ah, cheers Dan :))
Cheers, fellows. I've noticed.that your production values have improved markedly over the last few shows. Keep up the good work.
+Steven Garvey It's all Simon's fault. :0)
Happy birthday Mick! Another anxious future owner of the Keeley D&M Drive here! Can't wait!
+ksstudios It's a beauty alright! Does so much.... Hoping to get production ones in May. Cheers!
WHAT A BOARD!!! WHAT A SOUND!!!
You guys are the best! Can't stop watching video after video!
Fantastic video - seen it at least six times now, and still I get new information from it! Simply starting as building a pedal board for a friend, and highlighting some of the issues, questions and solutions makes this a great pedal board 'construction' video.
Everytime I hear Mick's PRS I just want to hear it for hours it sounds great!
Really enjoyed the show and ,the building of a pedal board .. yes it's a great sounding sound !!!!!
Great as always guys.... As someone who is starting out on their peddle board journey I found it very helpful.
It's fun watching you two geek out over Mick's board.
hi guys, i love your show. Its helped me learn so much about pedals and how to usd them. you are helping me shape
+Adam Hauk Thanks Adam. I was waiting for a 'but' all the way through and it never came! Thanks for watching. :9)
Hot damn that sounds good! As soon as they get into the jam/pedal shed. Inspire strikes back
my favorite show so far!!!...great fun...great sounds...great info...great playing!...happy bday Mick!...
Hooray!
Belated Many Happy Returns, Mick! What a great show, wonderful information for the ears... Pete.
+ptrisonic Thanks Pete!
Just got round to watching this (sorry been a bit busy) this shows how as a musician and a guitarist we evolve. A belated Happy to Mick! Hope you had a good one... Can you remember it?
Happy Birthday Mick!
Great video - oh, and Happy Birthday Mick!
48:20 - that tone alone completely devastated me. What a sound...
Happy Birthday Mick!!
LOVE the board building videos!! Cheers guys!!
Nice!...... just want to compliment you both on your playing this episode.... great stuff.
+groovechapter photography Thank you much!
Wow... brilliant...
+23dvs There comes a day when that is the thing to do! :0)
So glad you guys did a pedalboard episode. Loved it. I fell in love with the show watching the Andy Timmons build, so this feels like home.
Wow. One of the best shows yet. Enjoyed it immensely
These are my favorite episodes
Congratulations, Mick, and what a gift that is!
E: That PRS is a match made in heaven for your setup.
This video was absolutely fantastic, and quite a bit inspiring!
+Richard Brawn Excellent! Nice one Richard - it's all a journey. :9)
Hi Dan and Mick,
You guys are costing me a fortune!
+John Skinner Nice one John! As long as it all inspires to play more, it's all good! Happy toning. :0)
I have used 3M Command Strips with hook-and-loop to hold the pedals to the board. You can get the pedals off. They wont fall off. And when you want the adhesive strip removed it comes off cleanly.
Happy birthday mick you guys are awesome
Happy birthday Mick! And nice board btw.
Great episode! I love all the banter and sophisticated playing alike. Just awesome...lookin' forward to more. Cheers from the states!
Great episode!! Fun to see you doing stuff outside of the studio. Would love to see an episode on good sounding setups for "quiet" home practice. Living in a flat, this is something I struggle with a lot.
+Joakim Sundberg hi J, have done a vid on low volume tones at home, check out the playlists
Cool vid again this week boys. Many thanks!
good pedal boards are an investment (pro level stuff) - respect your craft...love evidence cables (been using them for years) AND absolutely love my G2...best of the best!!
Mick and Dan , thanks for sharing the pedal board build
I smile every time Dan pauses before he says it but it’s true. It did sound MEGA.
That Maiden is killer.
Great video. Very informative. I can't wait until my Maiden pedal arrives so I can add it to my board.
Happy birthday Mick. speaking of money- I purchased a boss es-8 footswitcher over a year ago. Now I have to save some cash for the gigrig! hey I did not know the gigrig existed till I watched that pedal show. good stuff. cheers amigos!
+miguel Nunez Excellent, nice one Miguel! Happy days!
Happy Birthday Mick! Great build, great vid!
+Stephen Naveed Thank you Stephen! It's been emotional so far. :0)
Damn! Mick reeeeaaally can play awesomely! And suuuch a greeeaat tone, dude! Absolutely splendid! Even the reverb was carefully treated, the sweetest I've heard in a long time! Congratulations to you both!
+heliobluesrock Thank you muchly, and thanks for watching!
+John McCarthy Thank you John! Hopefully there's some useful stuff in there for everybody. Thanks for watching!
YES>> loved this episode guys!!!
I liked this video even before watching it. Great idea for a video!
Great show - thanks guys!!
Would you ever consider doing a few segments on a person's specific pedalboard - troubleshooting power and pedal order - for boards that may have 10 or more pedals with varying power requirements and placement? I'll volunteer! Love the show and have learned a LOT from it. Thank you!
Been waiting on this one. She's a beauty,Mick! Cheers from Texas
