- The path of Nonduality and the path of the Law of Attraction seem to be very separate approaches to the truth of our existence.
They do, however, share profound similarities as well as some fundamental differences.
The two approaches can be brought together in a synergistic and complementary relationship if we take the Law of Attraction as being the creative expression of the realisation of Nonduality.
What is Nonduality?
Simply put: Nonduality is to see through the illusion of subject and object and to realise the Nondual Source of subject and object and of all existence.
How is this achieved?
The are many ways and paths in Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, Sufism, and even mystical Christianity to achieve this re-cognition.
However, in recent times, the Neo-Advaita tradition drawing mostly on the practices offered by the 20th-century saint & sage, Ramana Maharishi has become dominant in the West.
Ramana Maharishi’s primary practice suggestion was the inquiry “Who Am I?”
Through the consistent application of this inquiry, “Who Am I?” one begins to clearly see that there is no substantive subject that makes up a “me.”
In fact, there is no “I” or “me” at all; they are completely illusory.
The sense that I exist is merely a practised and repeated thought.
The one who I believe is thinking the thought is itself merely a thought!
When the subject is seen as illusory, it is also seen that the objective world is also illusory.
All that is left is the Nondual Source. One without a second.
Both the sense of separate self and the apparent world are both absorbed into Nondual Source.
According to this Nondual approach along with the separate sense of self, all personal preferences are seen through as illusory and re-absorbed into the Nondual Source.
The Law of Attraction also posits a Source of existence.
However, The Law of Attraction does not teach that the separate sense of self is to be transcended in Source.

What is the source of this source?
Law of Attraction is a glorified western concept. Here in india it is called sankalpa siddhi(Sankalpha meaning intention, resolve,or will and siddhi meaning certain mastery or achievement). You might have heard sages cursing or blessing someone, that is sankalpha siddhi, it also one of the asthanga siddhis.

I always watch all of your episodes. This is the first video on the law of attraction that I've actually watched. I usually skip over them on purpose, because there has been so many times in my life that I would mention something or think about it, and then the very exact thing happens or comes into existence. According to the "Law of attraction", thoughts become things when we have preferences such as for health, a relationship or any better circumstances of any kind, this is an expression of the expansionary nature of source via us. As the expressive leading edge of this constantly expanding source. Source is the vastly greater part of us and expresses its expansionary nature through us, through our preferences. The achievement of our preferences is immediately achieved by source.
As thought as an idea we have a preference and it immediately exist in source in its subtle form as though now the preferences continue their Expandsionary Journey from the subtle form as a thought or idea to the gross form is a positive change in one's circumstance, we can either be a cooperative part of this expansionary journey from the subtle to the gross or we can hinder it, we hinder or pinch off the expansionary force of source, whenever we think resistance thoughts resistance though is more commonly known as Negative thinking.

Im happy to see this being said; to me they always felt naturally as one. The dividing them which so many took for intrinsic to me always seemed not-there. Perhaps because so many who use and preach LOA do it for exclusively selfishly egotic ends, which runs anathema to the heart of many Non-Dualist philosophies; and thus perhaps many Non-dualist practitioners dismissed it as egotic.
But even as a Non-dualist, the understanding of self's truth as everpresent awareness only reveals to me the illusion of mundane reality; but I still participate in the illusion. And if for example one were on the Buddhist path of the Boddhisattva desiring freedom for all, does that mean one does not actively involve themself in the illusion for the benefit of others, "desiring" (perhaps not egotically, but still, having an aspiring will) for this illusion to progress in a particular direction. Is the law of vibrations not a term for the means for us as pure energy-awareness to exert subtle control over us as body-still-here-in-illusion?

I realized this, having had and still have, non dual glimpses starting g from a couple of years ago. People would understand the law of attraction better and would work faster for them if first they understood and experience their non dual selves. I mean, there is no self to experience, once the seeker discovers he was never seeking and never searching, and never was/is. Manifestation happens faster once this is seen.
I like to talk about abandoning the lower emotions and focusing on the higher emotions.

It's not personal preferences that are seen through to be illusory, it's the sense of me, the sense that I am real, I am a person living a life moving through time and space in a process. Once seen it's seen it was always the case, nothing really changes for the character/brain/ body. The main difference here is that the law of attraction is a belief system while nonduality is not a concept/ belief system.

Nonduality- There's nothing to manifest and no one to do the manifesting.
The distinction between mental and physical is not entirely arbitrary. Or, put another way, whether there is no distinction of subject an object there is an obvious distinction between imaginary and physical. Law of attraction states that our physical reality is the manifestation of our imagination. If you refute the distinction between imagined and material phenomenon, attempt to interact with the ball I just dropped on your desk.
I feel like I'm at this point. I understand the pain the people are the world feel but at the same time i believe it's perfectly ok and I don't need to wish or want better

Doesn’t the western concept of the law of attraction manifest billions of selfish and egotistical individual desires that brings about endless pain, illusions, and sufferings to human beings in this illusory world? The results of all these have taken us into the downward spiral of the Kali Yuga where we are now at.
On the other hand we have non-duality ancient teachings from India and other eastern philosophy that can bring the antidote, the solution to so much rage, hatred, sadness and eventually remorse.
Expansion-based law of attraction mentality has brought only sufferings and destruction to this world (colonial powers) whereas inward and spirituality-based mentality (such as north american native americans and Indian tribes of the Amazon) has brought peace and harmony.

Source is actually unmoving from our perspective. This makes sense. We somethings, so we can only see source through our opposite. The space between something and nothing can only exist in the presence or non-presence of something and nothing. As somethings we are always moving.
For a second I was confused by the perspective presented here.
Is it maybe that Source, as source, is still and unmoving and infinite and Source, as creation, is constantly expanding WITH/IN that infinite stillness?
These philosophies are the oldest recorded, rooted with Mother Earth and so complex and never stop discovering, don’t let anyone try to brainwash.
Dynamic and Still can both be true only in 1 case: if one is real and other apparently real. Therefore both cannot be equally real. So Stillness is real, movement is unreal (apparently real). Acctually to realize that one must meditate upon illusion of "law of attraction" also therefore eventually law of attraction is obstacle to freedom. Another problem with law od attraction is that it supports idea of egocentrism ( I want therefore I shall get) and spiritual materialism which both are HUGE obstacles towards Sama-Buddhi/Nirvana/Moksha.

Me and a friend had a long conversation about duality and nonduality. I tried explaining that nonduality could exist without duality because it does, but he thinks they coincide almost but not quite like Ying and yang. He acknowledges that nonduality is the entire symbol not just the two sides but said there would be no symbol without the duality meaning nonduality cannot be, and that's where I disagreed. What do yall think?

Really good video, but I think an important concept is missing. The Law of Attraction is an impersonal force of the universe just as gravity is an impersonal force of the universe. The LOA just matches like with like. If you emanate an undesired vibration, you will receive back things and experiences that match that vibrational state.
The very purpose of LOA is to be a mirror to our state of consciousness. By being a mirror to our state of consciousness it ultimately brings us to the awareness of non-duality.

Non duality describes the expression of godhead (singularity) and law of attraction describes the expression of spirit (creative source). Man is the third part of the trinity: father son and holy ghost.
It's law of physics ie.single sheet experiment for e-
law of attraction confuses people because there is no comprehensive teaching. in the west, individual grasping of spirituality is admired, so many different opinions and understandings are formed. There is no.. totally separate view point of deep understanding is reached. Yeah.. it takes a lot of navigation and discernment to get the good stuff out of the vastness of incomplete understanding. But ultimately Everything comes into being from the Great Attraction of the Atma. Of the Nondual nature. So even this teaching derives from it.
A valuable point of view and teaching often popularized in the west is this, purifying one's mind centered around one particular theme or concept to achieve freedom in that field. For example, get the theme of love, see all seed concepts you have in your own mind related to it.. what is love, what is loneliness, what is being with someone, what is desire, what is fulfillment, are you needing, are you deserving.. etc and work with all of them to release anything that does not correspond to the spirit, that is not in completeness, so actual purifying of the mind but focused on one subject. The way it is taught in the west is highly efficient. For this it is outstanding.

It states that this world of suffering and the ego's in it, is based on a mistake that the Son of God (our real nature) once made, namely that we are separate from God. And that it can be corrected because it's totally false. And that we are really creators as mighty as God himself. But that, once waken up from this mistake, this false world and ego can actually be used to bring love and light, which also includes creation and manifestation
