Hope you liked this video essay on "The Life Of An Enlightened Person". We will try our best to upload weekly from now on. There are a LOT of exciting videos to come. :) Much love to all of you.
:3 Niceee. I was seeing a very well made video with nice art, vocals, and quotes, on Buddhism, and ideas of philosophy. He brought up Christianity. A Buddhist was asked by a Christian, what is the difference between us. The Buddhist said, you believe in'a room, that God is with you there, right? The Christian said, yes, that's true. The Buddhist said, well, when a Buddhist is in the room, there is only God in the room.
"Through wisdom I know that I am nothing, through love I know that I am everything, and between the two my life flows." Nisargadatta Maharaj. One of my favorite quotes you cited.
That sounds very wise especially compared to the louder and more numerous messages like "Be Somebody!" "Get Rich Now!" "Look Younger!" Etc. So, thanks for sharing one of your favourite sayings. Words represent thoughts and thoughts represent our beliefs. This "I" that knows through wisdom that it is nothing, and this "I" that knows through love that it is everything, is the very "I" which is only implied, but never exists! Fiction writers know very well how words used creativity can conjure up whole fantasy worlds. Shared fantasy worlds could be mistaken for reality if many larpers were playing along and doing that 24/7. That's where we all are. We're born into it. But fiction remains fiction no matter how many believe it. Many sayings are wise, but the supreme wisdom is the realisation of "no self". In any thing. This is exactly what it is like when there is no self! There is nothing to achieve and no-one to achieve it. REALIZE!
I know that I was put on this earth to live on it and love it for what it gives me, if I hunt I thank the animals I kill, I'm grateful that we were lucky enough to have a planet this perfect, tho our species doesn't do any right to it, just destroying it, I, myself love nature and animals and the weather, Sun moon and stars, it all is here for us. I hope to be known by a few for having a simple yet advanced way of thinking we should be focussing on our third eye helping take care of the only habitable giant rock in space for who knows how far. We need to stop being distracted by hate and war, distrust, money and greed, we need to focus on love, unity, respect, evolution, this planet and all it has to offer, instead mfs got three different social medias, becky makes a killing in only fans but posts vids on Instagram about objectifying women, a man speaks about his lifestyle and how he treats women and all the sudden Millions flock, meanwhile fentanyl is killing every type of drug user besides the hippies and tripper's. Everyone is so distracted by the tiny screen in their hands or what that group or this group is doing, who can we hate next, what can distract me to the point where I'm too old to realize I've wasted my whole life being a sheep, believing everything these politicians, news channels, and fake woke people are saying. We are wasting time destroying the world and not moving forward. Y'all still judge by the way someone looks outside and not in, and y'all take the easy way rather than make an effort for us and for every living thing. I'm not a Christian etc. But if. I was God I wouldn't let this shit go on, but it's us who's the problem. Shit won't change we won't evolve and advance if we don't figure out how to get out of this cycle that happens every 50 to 100 years, we will all keep dying keep fighting, get distracted by random pointless shit cuz youre too lazy or scared to try to leave the herd. Keep wasting what this planet gives to us till it's too far gone, I'll hopefully be dead before that resting in the same earth that gave birth to us.
Mmmhmmm... All of this enlightened thought is exactly what led to the technology behind our smartphones and the very platform we are sharing content on. Tbh. In history we have a period of time called the enlightenment... There has been enlightened people... Are you guys saying Einstein, Galileo, Newton... That they weren't enlightened! Or as I seem to interpret it... The version for enlightenment the video is talking about is actually specifically that of a certain cultural perspective. I suppose this video is true for the Borg.
Actually enlightenment has no meaning! There is just ever infinite now! Even that is insufficient! No language can approximate or describe! Yet it seems to be ever flowing and complete! The Tao says it closely! That that says it knows doesn’t know! That that says it doesn’t know is slowly seeing! NAMASTE!
The concept that the self doesn’t exist can be handy when a part of you is trying to ‘spiritually bypass’ the existence of an emotional body as a form of protection. Oneness is about acceptance, compassion and understanding of ALL thoughts and feelings that arise in the now and using skilful communication where needed
there is no "now" , there is always some past being dragged along any sensory input or impression. It is impossible without it - any sensory input is an integral of recent moments which are in the past already. Watch carefully. Pure now without past must be that samadhi thing (sensory flow is impossible there). A human cannot function in the real now, the effort becomes meaningless. What happens to a practitioner of being in the present moment? He shuts down some of the faculties of the mind so that the attention can be focused on the flow of immediate impressions. He then develops this feature of NOT BEING PRESENT in the parts of the mind which do higher reasoning, allowing actions and words to flow out on autopilot. You are present in one part, absent in another.
Enlightenment is a lifestyle, a state of being in love through all the inevitable suffering of life. It's a mastery of knowing how to love. A moment of enlightenment doesn't mean you cannot regress.
@@RebelLion666 Love is the root of consciousness. None of us decided to be born, but if there’s free will, the most important decision is to choose love. Love yourself first and foremost, to be the best lover of everyone else. Being in love is divine awakening.
@@RebelLion666 …my love… What is the only force that has the potential to bring all of humanity together as one …so… you and I have the possibility to reach our god given potential? …the true kiss of infinity!! Absolute love…absolute absence of judgement!!!!! Love always
I am but a thought in my head and when that thought is gone, then it is like a dream i cannot remember. When i remember myself, it is like an Oh yeah i dreamt that last night. The thought that is myself, just feels like a general sense of self.
A little knowledge is dangerous, my fellow human. Consider this: A person is having a terrible nightmare and can't wake up. Somebody is trying to rouse him, but you say there is no need, because the dream is not real and won't kill him. Regardless, the person is suffering, isn't it? And the pain and suffering in this physical existence is as real as we all make it to be. In any case, your ego self will ultimately want to wake up/dissolve. Meanwhile, please don't mislead others until you have a glimpse of reality (enlightenment) your self.
Nowhere in the video have they dismissed suffering. You've some assumptions. Your doubts can be answered by this story of Adi Shankaracharya: Once, Adi Shankara shared, ‘This whole world, that is everything, is nothing.’ So, he was saying, ‘This is all nothing.’ Like the modern-day scientists say, ‘All this matter is nothing because it is all just waves.’ As he was saying, ‘Everything is nothing’, just then a mad elephant started running towards him. So Shankara ran to take cover. Then someone said, ‘Oh, that elephant is nothing. Why are you running?’ Shankara then said, ‘The elephant is nothing, and my running is also nothing.’ Such was the profound intelligence of Adi Shankaracharya, and you will rarely find someone like this. Don't confuse the apparent reality with the absolute. Suffering is in the apparent reality, but if you're speaking in absolute terms, then that transcends suffering. But this in no means tells you to ignore the pain/suffering you feel in life. "Meanwhile, please don't mislead others until you have a glimpse of reality (enlightenment) yourself." And how do you know the video creator is not enlightenment? That's another assumption.
@@karmapeople1735 Emptiness is the highest truth. But it is not to be taught to the novice, as it will confuse. That's why Buddha and others who have seen this truth teach different people very differently. Telling everyone that money is better than enlightenment in this physical existence is not good. Such message is not meant for everyone.
@@karmapeople1735 Btw, if the video creator is truly enlightenment, he/she will know not to confuse others by teaching what is meant only for those who have some enlightenment experience and ready for shunyata (emptiness).
I agree - these kind of arguments misunderstand that a collapse of binaries does not give one free reign to indulge. That’s classic spiritual bypassing. Originally the crazy wisdom was for select monks and nuns who hadn’t made progress after years of practise - it was designed to shock them out of their limited view. Disseminating these teaching in Western Dhamma contexts has been a complete disaster - as independent research will easily verify.
Saw this video in recommendations last night, did not watch it. Beautiful synchronicity happened at the coffee shop this morning, when the receipt number showed 1452, Milarepa's supposed birth date. What a brilliant video, it certainly drew some inspiration within.
Turns out when I opened Majima Nikaya, my bookmark was placed at the start of the 52nd chapter. Neat again how that happened. By the way the bookmark has avalokitesvaras 1000 hand form artistically embedded
@The Duke That is not for you to know and judgement of others is a slipperly slope where one often is/ends up guilty of that which they address on others.
This was a surprise, well done, nice summary, and a wonderful collection of images. That true spontaneity only exists within a context of relationships, and that that is ethics, is a beautiful idea.
The Confucian approach to true spontaneity seems contradictory to me. How can spontaneity be true if it is confined to prescribed relationships? Maybe I'm biased for having an affinity towards Taoist ideology, but surely we can agree that spontaneity is something that arises naturally everywhere, and not strictly within the relationships in a hierarchy. If anything, I feel like the hierarchical nature of the relationships hinder true spontaneity. But this is just my opinion. Truly, I know nothing.
@@nocantry Your question is a good one and it seems to me essentially similar, maybe even the same, as the question Arjuna had for Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita. Why must he fight? Why does he have to live out his prescribed role? For a full answer I would strongly recommend reading the Gita, but as a RUclips comment I'd say that true spontaneity can only occur within relationships because all there is, is relationships. There are no "things". There is only the energetic flow of Reality Itself, but for there to be names and communication, a hierarchy of order and value is automatically, spontaneously inherent in the words themselves, because of their relations to each other -- mother, son, and so on. Those relations are not just totally random or meaningless but derive their sensibility from a spontaneous structure. Yin and yang is already a sort of structure, before the 10,000 things. In order to have a society, which is to say the flourishing of a large group of people, some codification of beneficial relationships is in order. In fact that codification spontaneously arises as a part of the natural wisdom of the situation. Do the people have to follow the codes? If they want the society to flourish, it's not a bad idea. A hermit living in the forest has little need for those codes, because he becomes the forest itself, but if he goes to the village, suddenly there is a spontaneous web of relations that begs for an ethical response.
Ttrying to achieve ‘enlightenment’ of being ‘nothingness’ is also a *DESIRE* It is not IMPOSSIBLE because it’s always being with us all these times. Don’t be anxious, just enjoy the experiences, babe ❤️

There was a very strange feature in this case, strange because of its extremely rare occurrence. This man had once been brought to the scaffold in company with several others, and had had the sentence of death by shooting passed upon him for some political crime. Twenty minutes later he had been reprieved and some other punishment substituted; but the interval between the two sentences, twenty minutes, or at least a quarter of an hour, had been passed in the certainty that within a few minutes he must die. I was very anxious to hear him speak of his impressions during that dreadful time, and I several times inquired of him as to what he thought and felt. He remembered everything with the most accurate and extraordinary distinctness, and declared that he would never forget a single iota of the experience. ‘About twenty paces from the scaffold, where he had stood to hear the sentence, were three posts, fixed in the ground, to which to fasten the criminals (of whom there were several). The first three criminals were taken to the posts, dressed in long white tunics, with white caps drawn over their faces, so that they could not see the rifles pointed at them. Then a group of soldiers took their stand opposite to each post. My friend was the eighth on the list, and therefore he would have been among the third lot to go up. A priest went about among them with a cross: and there was about five minutes of time left for him to live. ‘He said that those five minutes seemed to him to be a most interminable period, an enormous wealth of time; he seemed to be living, in these minutes, so many lives that there was no need as yet to think of that last moment, so that he made several arrangements, dividing up the time into portions-one for saying farewell to his companions, two minutes for that; then a couple more for thinking over his own life and career and all about himself; and another minute for a last look around. He remembered having divided his time like this quite well. While saying good- bye to his friends he recollected asking one of them some very usual everyday question, and being much interested in the answer. Then having bade farewell, he embarked upon those two minutes which he had allotted to looking into himself; he knew beforehand what he was going to think about. He wished to put it to himself as quickly and clearly as possible, that here was he, a living, thinking man, and that in three minutes he would be nobody; or if somebody or something, then what and where? He thought he would decide this question once for all in these last three minutes. A little way off there stood a church, and its gilded spire glittered in the sun. He remembered staring stubbornly at this spire, and at the rays of light sparkling from it. He could not tear his eyes from these rays of light; he got the idea that these rays were his new nature, and that in three minutes he would become one of them, amalgamated somehow with them. ‘The repugnance to what must ensue almost immediately, and the uncertainty, were dreadful, he said; but worst of all was the idea, ‘What should I do if I were not to die now? What if I were to return to life again? What an eternity of days, and all mine! How I should grudge and count up every minute of it, so as to waste not a single instant!’ He said that this thought weighed so upon him and became such a terrible burden upon his brain that he could not bear it, and wished they would shoot him quickly and have done with it.’³
@Ag21 I don't know what I don't know , what I think I know as true was introduced to me by others that believe they know what as been presented to them as true true because they knew , at least they said they knew as the stories were told by those that were there but , were not sure because we weren't there , but told by others who weren't there , but some said they saw these things . Because we've been told we imagine what is an omnipotent being as God as an advanced version of a human being , based on whatever our first interpretation of this being is based on the introduced impression that formed our belief , many people believed in Santa Claus until they didn't . We live on a planet, that is part of a solar system , which is part of a galaxy , which is part of a universe , non of which we can comprehend , I wonder how we could possibly perceive the magnificence of that which is unimaginable in scope , as merely God who has one son, as if all creation is not part of creation , this being birthed through some manifestation, making everything a creation of and by something that we can't begin to know , at least not for sure.
The sense of "I" does not disappear completely in deep sleep like you say in your video. Rather, your awareness/consciousness always remains. What disappears is your alertness, or wakefulness.
Good and bad only exist within the limited understanding of an ego. The moment you judge anything, you're implying the ego. Only when you don't resist the ego, can you stop clinging to it
This video was so helpful. Thank you for sharing this info. I really liked the definitions you laid out. It made those concepts much easier to grasp. Also thank you for actually coming to a point and having that point be related to the video title!
True enlightenment is an experience of going into the light, and becoming one with God. To know your true self. Enlightenment is not a state of being, it's an experience, the state of bliss you can find yourself in after enlightenment is nirvana. You cannot stay enlightened, because it's just an experience of God, and doesn't last.

To be enlightened is like to be a boulder tumbling down a hill. Those who roll with it have no issue, but those who stand in its path inevitably get flattened. Truth is truth is truth.
Nice at first I was a little confused with the term the self but now I realize that this is just the identity's judgments impressions that you have gathered that get in the way of this flow it makes sense

I agree. The closer to enlightenment, the more enemies a man gains. They do not like the truth you speak and the light you carry. It triggers their shadows. Thats something no guru likes to talk about or it means they have never truely experienced true enlightenment. Yes, your innerworld becomes light and blissful, but the relationship with the external turns into a warzone.
@@justintime6274 why is this Justin? They say as within, so without... That would mean that if our innerworld becomes totally concious and peaceful that the external should shift with it? Can you explain me your perspective on this?

@sidhant sharma thank you. I am Grateful for the lessons life teaches everyday. Watching the rest. Moments like these as little as they seem are beautiful to me. readily willing to change, open to learn; acceptance, correction; awareness, May I observe without judgment may I be one with love and creation.
No one can lead another to enlightenment. Therefore, there is no reason to venerate anyone. You can encourage others to seek enlightenment, but the only place anyone can find it is within themselves.
Enlightenment is the opening of the senses, adaption experience projections…Take in like a dry sponge, into water, then the drying of the sponge is the overall outcome, like yourself, becoming who you are…xx
Thinking you are enlightened, is the first step. Don't stop. Don't slow down unless you need to rest. Unravel the thread till its end. The answer just ends up being everything you already knew, but now you see a fractured world held together by strings and wishes. Just do things you like, don't allowe people to make you do things you don't like, don't go into doubtful scenarios unprepared, be present and you will always be prepared.
Imagine if Gautama Buddha had been born and raised, not inside a palace ruling a peaceful kingdom, but in a country which had been conquered and corrupted by a brutal imperialist power as Jesus was. Would Buddha have kept teaching until captured , tried in court, and executed like Jesus Christ was for preaching peace and love? Or would he have self-immolated like the monks in Tibet after Chinese Communist conquest? Regarding the story of the exchange between the Buddhist and the Christian at the end, I think a difference between the two faiths is in the understanding of potential conscious action. In the Bible the Trinity also discusses potential courses of action, and there are many stories of God talking with followers about what God's plans are. So with the Christian, the contemplation of possible action remains conscious, but the goal is to be so unified through the Holy Spirit of self-sacrificial love, exemp[lfied by Christ saying "Not my will, Lord, but yours."
I don't like comparisons but buddha and jesus are same and different at same time they both enlightened but the way buddha gives knowledge and his capabilities for delivering words are far more refined then jesus buddha didn't came in a peacefull era he came when a lot of people were doing black magic and worshiping idols and sacrificing humans and animals a lot of temples were worshiping shiv but when buddha came they destroyed shivlings and started following buddha, and corruption was there when Jesus came and also when buddha came
@@dars240 I think you missed my point. Buddha's response to internal social degradation or decadence within the population of his unconquered country (peaceful in the sense of not oppressed by an imperial power) is what created Buddhism. My question is about Buddha's hypothetical response to a hypothetical imposition of an oppressive military force and political system on his father's kingdom. How would he have responded pre-enlightenment vs post- enlightenment? Using the words 'more refined', if you think about it, makes little sense. They were in very different cultures and nations, facing very different challenges. So to teach in the same way would be impossible. I don't see refinement in Buddha's teachings in any practical juristic sense, for instance, whereas in Christ's teaching justice and law, mercy and forgiveness are central. By contrast, I don't see a hierarchical variety of spiritual goals being set in Christ's teachings, but that seems to me to be most of what Buddha teaches. Their respective teachings address very different circumstances. It's interesting to speculate what they might have done.
I "logicked" the idea that all is one over 20 years ago now as my extended family was pushing very hard for me to become a member of The Church of Christ. I figured if God existed before all of this and God created everything the only way for God to create would be from God's self, so everything has to be a manifestation of God. As such we could not find God or meet God since in essence we all exist within God. God is all that exists, so movement of any kind is impossible, since there's no place in which God can move. Time is intertwined with space and movement and is also impossible. What I struggle with and choose to reject is the purposeful pain humans cause each other and other creatures for pleasure or personal gain. Whenever I see something innocent or blameless suffer it's very painful. I also know that ultimately there's no self, but the illusion of self and ego can continue indefinitely, and "I" enjoy being a self. I'm choosing to continue the illusion.
The Message of the Master Therion, the Law of Thelema is summarized succinctly as "Do what thou wilt-then do nothing else." Crowley describes the pursuit of Will as not only with detachment from possible results, but with tireless energy. It is Nirvana but in a dynamic rather than static form !!!!
Absolutely nothing has changed, except that everything in my life is extremely random and my dreams are not dreams but extraordinary downloads of information
Actually now that I reread what I wrote while most likely drunk, tons of stuff changes. Relationships are magnetised, you always meet people on your wavelength with almost a 100% rate. Especially when you’re not specifically looking, it just comes to you. The closer you get to the Divine, the stronger your feelings of love, creating strong magnetic energy within you and you suddenly become the emanation of joy and love. You become more like God. People will suddenly start talking about exactly what you need to hear in your journey. Everything will become like a video game. You will realise just how connected you are to God in every moment. No separation, and as a result, every part of your life will be a mystery that some people may not even be able to believe, because everything is intensely incredible. You also realise the ways in which energy and your individual consciousness affects everything around you. So you begin to emotionally change ahead of the future you want, because by being in love with life, you will receive a life that you love. You can either manifest as a reaction, or as an intention.
There are only metaphors and similes used in the attempt to have a conversation about enlightenment. All such terms, ("emptiness") have limiting qualities, that we need to use in our effort to communicate; but do not apply to the "infinite." You can only say, "It's not this - it's not that." There are no terms using language that will not be limitations to the metaphysical infinity of what you are searching for.
Yeah, language is mind control. Partial truths that create contradictictory illusion, one dimensional and fixed parameters that only constitute a fragmented context, lack of understood sensitivities in words that breed semantical hierarchy in their interpretation, and overall an insignificance not to be considered when realizing the infinite coexisting factors of actuality as it always results in the subject swiftly turned to ignorance, and for the individual, a distorted perception. People unfortunately seek the absolute in words regularly, guess it fits with the surface level observations of change that we are conditioned into, societal pressure to conform and give a quick answer to avoid uncertainty. Not like uncertainty is rewarded anyway, you'll likely be condemned and/or isolated.
@eightpetals ha nah I don't know about that, that seems to be humanities problem. Instinct is fundamentally flawed if it's to maintain structure of mind, we must learn to not hold conviction in belief so we do not identify with external influence. Creation is collapse, you must not run from the human condition. The human condition is so demonized in all the moral sentiment that gets perpetuated, we deny our true instinct in a sense. Because real human instinct is kill
I do love to hear others perspectives on "what is enlightenment". Though I disagree with the wholesale acceptance of another's belief just because there are many following it, I do see that there are many good things even in the worst of things. This video did a good job at introducing this belief system in a basic way. Thank you, I will carry this perspective with all the others I have accumulated on my journey.
So how many more years of journey do you need until you finish circumnavigating the content of the mind? That is all you do. Living in the mind. It can stretch out to infinity, and you can hold both false conviction and right comprehension all the same. The mind is a colourful canvas. But it is also the abyss. If you seek things greater than the mind and its ideas you need to step out of it. Be no more partakers of the fruit of knowledge. Else, continue on
@@heavycurrent7462 I do believe your focus is in the wrong place. Living as the best person you can be is the focus, exploring your mind is just a small part of what needs to be done to help facilitate that. The mind is not a continent. If a mind, or belief, or perception is static, then, I believe, that individual has missed one of the biggest lessons of life itself. Everything in life changes, it is the "natural" progression of life. Even our mind changes over the whole course of our life. To put a limitation on something that "naturally" needs change is to do that thing a great disservice. If AI becomes sentient, then we will instantly be parent and God, because of the limitation of perception of our creation. Though, as every parent should, we would hope that our creations achievements exceed our own. We should hope that they become better than us. Both for our creations sake, and for our own sake, we should not put a limit on our growth, and we should continue to grow in many areas. Exploring the current progress of our minds growth is one of them.
In a sense, this is enlightenment. Once there was a monk who was to be sent to a great king to work under him, a king known for killing his subjects on a whim. The monk told his master he was not ready. He left the temple for a year and returned, telling his master he was ready. His master asked him what made him think he was now ready, he replied "before i was worried i would be killed by the king if i were to serve him, then i realized there never was an I" His Master replied "you are ready"
@@HarryPothead4201 Hello Ryan. You said that "in a sense this is enlightenment", which leads me to the question, What do you perceive as enlightenment? The story about the monk is a dime a dozen in religions. Basically they are designed to program a person to a particular response, and the major stimulant to facilitate that change being peace and love. ...but the idea that story teaches, is that something you really believe, or is it just accepted as truth because there are so many people that appear to have achieved something desirable, saying it is the only way?
God is light and love the very energy that flows throughout all creation. Enlightened = in light end. From the source of light you are born and in the end you shall return

truly amazing! For the very last sentence, "for a Buddhist alone in the room, there's only god." Actually for an enlightened being, there's not only god, there's only this (like you mentioned earlier in the video) God is a concept or belief that may or may not appear in this 💖🌈
This video reminded me, there is no me. Any thought is but a mere illusion of self. God is All things and we are of Nothing, that is to say No Thing but One. Meditation and the absence of thought can release you of this worldly burden. Even if fleeting, the connection to all that is, was or will be. You are that which is. And that is Love.
See we often want enlightenment to come with a particular set of rules, easily crossing it over and confusing it with a holy person. Enlightenment does not mean you are holy or will do holy things, it just means you have been endowed with superior knowing. Holy people do have this, but they are orientated to work for the creator to restore balance back to positive. But you have evil beings that are too enlightened my friend. Because it is when you get to really know the creator that you begin you see that it is not concerned with your idea of good and evil Which is subjective to you or whom ever is appointing themselves as judge, the creator is concerned with forward movement/progression. And this is indeed what evil if for, it is to enable friction to happen which causes change. It's is the aspect of order and chaos, thee known and thee unknown and the never ending story of good vs. Evil. So enlightened people are on both sides, and holy people are scaled to be positive dominant, but may be a Robin hood or a Moses or somebody potentially saving people through negative means and such, but they are more intense with God than an enlightened individual, an enlightened person is more on the aspect of being able to navigate the universe that is inside of them and bring their light in said area or realm in order to draw gnosis or knowledge.. as opposed to one who hears the creators whipsers as does the holy ones

This is pretty good. I’ve been a Nyingma/Kagyu, student of Trungpa, Rinpoche, most of my life. If anyone recent was an example of what you describe, it was Trungpa. Thanks.
In sufism one can achieve stations of enlightenment but can always regress downwards if not vigilant. It's not like once enlightened you remain there. You can slip entirely under corrupting circumstances or sheer laziness.

@@takeaminute2144 if you read the Bhagavad Gita you learn that any action whether judged as good or bad by our limited perception is necessary in order for the universe to work. Arjuna is conflicted bc he doesn’t want to kill people but ends up doing it bc that’s his role in the divine play and he realizes that they are also doing the same. As in, them dying will cause another to learn something which will then change their choices and further the collective path to enlightenment. There is a difference between conventional understanding / language and ultimate reality. Referring to the apparent body "one is" as I can fall into conventional language.
once you become a realize self an awaken self, then there is no more others ones being becomes a mere perspective of the all and nothingness, and the divine intelligence that is the knowing of self and no self becomes known.. what was forgotten will be remembered, if one becomes a witness as pure awareness then one can enter into a play of a much higher level of illusion, one that so subtle yet so divine that requires no thoughts, only infinite knowing, and this is such a simple process that requires nothing but a relax body and pure awareness, no mind, let yourself be swallowed by the abyss so you will be emptiness and when you do the realization of fullness comes, and so all possibilities both unmanifest and manifest becomes known and then one who is awaken to that no longer worries about anything because one have seen beyond the veil, be like a flute hollow inside yet ready to receive air that is the music of the source and one becomes a living expression of the dance of the source spontaneously, and when one is in this state of non-self one can be infinitely able to move accurately within life, and one knows that whatever is happening in the present your always meant to witness that, and you can be the silent witness to that just an eye.. or you can also be a embodiment of the movement of that movement if the divine intelligence requires you to pick a sword and slash the enemy infront of you then you abide to that but without any emotion only divine intelligence recreating the unmanifest possibility to become a manifest moment…
You are absolutely correct, in fact I'm going to copy and save your comment above because it is so relevant to me. I have been experiencing Awakening for almost 2 years now, it's a long story but part of my way of coping with chronic physical pain is by putting myself into that relaxed almost hypnagogic state that you are speaking of, and in this state I am able to do extraordinary things with knives and swords and weapons of all kinds. I have a playlist of over 100 videos like this if you'd like to check it out. Here's an example: ruclips.net/video/UpqDdPKx2ts/видео.html
I am the opposite of enlightened. I am the only thing that is real. I am everything. Everything in the world is me. I am the only thing that matters. Everything matters. I have to treat myself like how I'd be treated. I have to treat everything like how I'd be treated.
The enlightenment hype is misleading. Everything is empty, however the true awareness of ones own non-existence is both intensely rewarding and painful. It would be beneficial if instead of questioning these disciplines we focus on this concept of “love” and question its true nature for this is the last frontier of liberation; shedding love and compassion to just “be.”
The problem is when you speak about focusing on concepts and questioning. This doesn't do the work. The problem isn't philosophical, it's neurological. Our minds BEHAVES like this, it doesn't THINK. It's like the difference of imagining the taste of a strawberry cake and actualy tasting it. You can imagine the taste because you know the taste of strawberry and the taste of cakes, but you don't really know the taste of that particular cake until you truly put it in your mouth and EXPERIENCE it. Enlightenment is the same thing. It's about how you EXPERIENCE reality, instead of how you THINK about it. You will never truly know how it feels like to be completely egoless unless you teach your brain how to experience the world in this form. And for this you need to do intense meditation training for thousands of hours, you'll be rewiring your brain to not have this thing called 'ego' or 'I' or 'self'. It's not an intelectual matter. Therefore, reflecting upon it will never lead you to enlightenmente, you need to practice, to teach your brain and shape it accordingly through training.
You talk about "being" when u are holding on to concepts like love. How can you be when you are holding on to something? To truly be you need to let go of everything
@@LeandroAlmeida108 Well, if feeling love and compassion means holding to something which is an obstacle to experience being oneself, I don't know further. I thought he was talking about being in an enlightement state. I can't understand why feeling love or compassion towards to the next one would contradict someone experiencing being herself/himself.
@@keldealmeida5768 The problem is in trying to be loving or any other concept, if you know how to just be, you know that "love" is your nature, and i dont even know if love is the best word, we are talking about a dimension of experience that is constipated in most people's life, so if we keep using the word "love" in a social sense what are refering to? What i am talking about is a deep conection with every living thing and everything around you. I think this "love" in new age spirituality is picked up from cristianity, buddhism or something like that, but many spiritual tradictions never felt the need talk about love, or better yet, see the live words of enlighten masters like Sadhguru, Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta, they dont talk about love, but simply know one self. Lastly, talking about a concept of love is it self a contradiction with spirituality, since to go beyond the mind one needs to go beyond concepts, and to go to the formless one needs to go beyond form. Why talking about focusing on the concept of love rather then the experience of love?
"Can you be enlightened and kill people, or be unethical?" - Enlightenment is the awareness that everyone is you, living in a dream world of infinite consciousness. It is detachment from the consequences, fears, biases, preferences, and opinions of your limited identity, as well as the identity itself. In that state, you know that nobody can die, that those people are just other incarnations of yourself, and so the decision to hurt them may be easier. On the other hand, a truly enlightened person would recognize that killing a bunch of people would have no real benefit or impact on the flow of balance in our world, so they'd be far more likely to just sit back and do nothing. So, while an enlightened person might be ok with these deaths and corrupt practices, they wouldn't engage in them personally. Because, what's the point?
Very very good points. And then again you eat food. If you know your true infinite nature you know every particle you take in is yourself, you consume yourself. Murder yourself. It's built into every single beings nature to do it. Even if you choose a reality where you stop eating and drinking, you still breath, and in each breath are mold particles you incarnate and your body's cells will murder them to preserve your internals. We are murderers. Sure we sit back and say what's the point but doing nothing doesn't give it any more meaning. Eventually you want to stand up and stretch and eat. And then conversate and compete. That's why you are in this realm and not the singularity right? Every enlightened one is a murderer. Everyone lashes at themselves. I am the only one that kills myself.
Please don't mislead others unless you are 100% certain of what you're saying. "Detachment from consequences" is completely against what the Buddha taught.
@@raphael8252 I'm merely speaking from my own experience. On a certain level, we have The Bizarre Life in our brain, the neurochemicals that show up in flow: so dopamine, norepinephrine, anandamide, endorphins, and serotonin. If you were to try to cocktail the street drug version of that, right, you're trying to blend like heroin and speed and coke and acid and weed- and point is, you can't do it. It turns out the brain can cocktail all of 'em at once, which is why people will prefer flow to almost any experience on Earth. It's our favorite experience. It's the most addictive experience on Earth. Why? 'Cause it cocktails five or six of the largest pleasure drugs the brain can produce. We're all capable of so much more than we know. That is a commonality across the board. And one of the big reasons is we're all hardwired for flow, and flow is a massive amplification of what's possible for ourselves.

The only belief which is balance is to accept that god is you and you is god. You need to seperate to be able to experience and you need to unite to be able to feel and give empathy. Without respecting both and loving both there is no growth, no life and no change in respect to balance. Without balance there is only chaos.

So, thanks for sharing one of your
favourite sayings.
REALIZE!

Your doubts can be answered by this story of Adi Shankaracharya:
Once, Adi Shankara shared, ‘This whole world, that is everything, is nothing.’ So, he was saying, ‘This is all nothing.’ Like the modern-day scientists say, ‘All this matter is nothing because it is all just waves.’
As he was saying, ‘Everything is nothing’, just then a mad elephant started running towards him. So Shankara ran to take cover.
Then someone said, ‘Oh, that elephant is nothing. Why are you running?’
Shankara then said, ‘The elephant is nothing, and my running is also nothing.’
Such was the profound intelligence of Adi Shankaracharya, and you will rarely find someone like this.

Disseminating these teaching in Western Dhamma contexts has been a complete disaster - as independent research will easily verify.

@@markcounseling Never thought about it like that. Thank you for the new perspective.

He thought he would decide this question once
for all in these last three minutes.

Or would he have looked like Muhammad ? 🤔
@@halimb4836 I don't think so. I think he might have relocated like the Dalai Lama of Tibet.

Enlightenment is the beginning of a never ending Journey
Thank you for your eternal gratitude for my life. I am honored and humbled at the same time.
New word: Humblred
This is such a wonderful enlighten message.
Beautiful🙏 Thank you for sharing it.
To be enlightened is to have knowledge ☝️
Nope, knowledge is only conceptual.
All such terms, ("emptiness") have limiting qualities, that we need to use in our effort to communicate; but do not apply to the "infinite."
You can only say, "It's not this - it's not that." There are no terms using language that will not be limitations to the metaphysical infinity of what you are searching for.
Because real human instinct is kill

this is the best video to explain what we are all “seeking”
This is the best description of emptiness I’ve ever seen. Spot on.
It is mostly hogwash from people throughout history who have had a mystical experience via psychedelics...

@@eyeofthegods302 to be a god has no meaning. There is no "a" or "the".
It something beyond any language or thought to describe or pinpoint.

Yes you can be enlightened and do things that may seem unethical but to an enlightened person nothing is wrong or right.
Isn't that the same definition of a psychopath?
@@takeaminute2144 if you read the Bhagavad Gita you learn that any action whether judged as good or bad by our limited perception is necessary in order for the universe to work. Arjuna is conflicted bc he doesn’t want to kill people but ends up doing it bc that’s his role in the divine play and he realizes that they are also doing the same. As in, them dying will cause another to learn something which will then change their choices and further the collective path to enlightenment. Idk if I’m making sense but recommend to read that if you want to know the difference. Psychopaths are playing a role and it often comes from a selfish desire for self satisfaction. So they aren’t detached bc they are serving their ego or urges to kill.

once you become a realize self an awaken self, then there is no more others ones being becomes a mere perspective of the all and nothingness, and the divine intelligence that is the knowing of self and no self becomes known.. what was forgotten will be remembered, if one becomes a witness as pure awareness then one can enter into a play of a much higher level of illusion, one that so subtle yet so divine that requires no thoughts, only infinite knowing, and this is such a simple process that requires nothing but a relax body and pure awareness, no mind, let yourself be swallowed by the abyss so you will be emptiness and when you do the realization of fullness comes, and so all possibilities both unmanifest and manifest becomes known and then one who is awaken to that no longer worries about anything because one have seen beyond the veil, be like a flute hollow inside yet ready to receive air that is the music of the source and one becomes a living expression of the dance of the source spontaneously, and when one is in this state of non-self one can be infinitely able to move accurately within life, and one knows that whatever is happening in the present your always meant to witness that, and you can be the silent witness to that just an eye.. or you can also be a embodiment of the movement of that movement if the divine intelligence requires you to pick a sword and slash the enemy infront of you then you abide to that but without any emotion only divine intelligence recreating the unmanifest possibility to become a manifest moment…

💯
@@LeandroAlmeida108
Well, if feeling love and compassion means holding to something which is an obstacle to experience being oneself, I don't know further.
