Hey guys, I read there's a BA shuttle that will take you from terminals 1-4 to terminal 5 without having to leave the secure area. How does that work and how would I do that from a connecting flight landing at Terminal 3?

Only £400 to upgrade to first? I would have taken it. However, I have never been offered an upgrade at check in. Perhaps it is a gold status perk? I’m only silver.

B.A. once offered me a free upgrade at check in, from my usual P.E. to Club World. After that I was hooked. Not expecting another free upgrade, in those pre pandemic days I would normally initially book P.E. and then get a reasonable offer to upgrade which I would take. Now they’ve hiked the price considerably on my usual long haul so I’ve switched to KLM for a much better deal in Business class.
