I have a great hack. Buy a clear men’s suit bag w/ zip front. It has a slit in the top for a hanger. It is great for storing gift wrap. Long rolls stand up. Also holds gift bags, bows, tissue, even greeting cards. Etc. scissors. Tape, ribbon Hang it in either your closet or on a hook behinds door.

Loved many of these hacks! My favorite was melting the chocolate in boiling water!
Use hair tie bands..the little black elastic ones that look like rubber bands and use them to put on the rolls of wrapping paper so it stops the paper from unrolling while in storage.

Peanut butter or cooking oil also loosen gum and stickers. It is the oil in sunscreen that makes it effective. It can leave a messy residue to be washed off, but avoids the chemical smell of Goo-Gone or acetone (nail polish).

If u have leftover chain,(like from a ceiling light fixture,not heavy duty) you can use it instead of a space saving hanger. Just slip top link over the hook and add more hangers down the length of the chain spaced according to preference. Can b spray painted to match your hangers.

Between you, NataLee, and Leah, I’m going to have the most beautiful, best functioning home on the block! I love these hacks particularly adding in trim on the walls to create a custom look. How do you measure out where to place them and how large each one should be? Thank you Lisa!

It depends on how large your wall is. I’ve done my trim differently in different sized rooms. Height wise I take my trim up and stop 6 inches below the crown molding. I also leave 1-3 inches in between each rectangle.

Love the mesh organizers and silicone lids. The best way to save space is to have fewer things. I don't have a lot of cleaning supplies. All you need is peroxide, baking soda, and vinegar. You can clean just about anything. None of my drawers or closets are large enough to accommodate those big baskets at 29:36, nor do I have a linen closet. I bought 2 cloth hanging shelves that fit over the clothes rod. They are meant for sweaters or shoes. I keep all my towels and wash cloths in those. Ok, I live on a different planet than Ms. Burningham. I don't own a purse. I carry a small credit card holder, chap stick, shopping list, postage stamps, phone, etc. in a 3 compartment passport bag. I can put it around my neck and be hands free. If I need a larger bag, I just take a pretty cloth shopping bag which can also hold extra shopping bags..

I recently bought shelf liner at the Dollar tree and also Walmart and bought some double sided tape and lined my Kitchen and bathroom cabinets...so beautiful and easy to clean!

Great hacks! I use an expensive spray primer for art projects, recent nozzles spite out globs of paint! I remembered your WD-40 hack, not only solved the problem but the direct spray saves money! So thanks for that tip!

Coke makes a great toilet bowl cleaner. I buy Coke for cleaning, not to drink. (Can you imagine what that acid does in your body?)

Lisa, I bought a kitchen utensil at an estate sale. I stood there holding it for awhile wondering what it was. It looked like a cutter of some kind. It was a butter cutter! It makes pats of butter to put on a dish. It’s old but very useable. Now when we entertain I cut the stick of butter into pats.

I love the cleaner hack for the grout lines, I used a pastry bag and poured the mixture in it to apply quicker to the grout lines, works great and a little faster than spooning it on! Great hack, hate the grout lines!

1st time to your channel. You rock girlfriend! Thank you for some incredibly useful hacks! I especially like the sunscreen/remover one, and the press and seal is BRILLIANT! I collect high-end Sterling jewelry, for example, an adorable $500 Tiffany Ring, $200 Tiffany chain, etc. Well, here in Hawai'i, Sterling 925, tarnishes, or oxidizes so fast it's ridiculous, because of the air quality. Salty ocean air and volcanic silica, sulfer, icky, whatever. So this hack is great. PLUS it would make it easier getting through TSA I think. Once I had a boatload of jewelry with me in the sweet little pouches Tiff's and Lagos give you, and they made me take everything out and apart! Between my camera equipment and jewelry it was like an hour and twenty minutes of playing "show and tell" and I nearly missed my flight. I swear I could feel frown lines growing on my face! So Mahalo and Aloha. Many blessings.

You have some really great ideas. I appreciate them so much. I have one that works great for my flip flops and summer shoes. I use a long wide basket to put all of them in together. I put the bottoms together and put the back of the flip flop or shoe into the basket. It's somewhat decorative so you can leave it out of the closet. Since I decorate my own flips flops that makes it that much more attractive.
Another hack that I found on another woman's site was how to get stickers loose. An East Indian lady suggested using a hair dryer to loosen stickers. Be careful not to put the hairdryer too close to some plastic containers though. Now all the other women are using that same idea on their channel. They really should give her credit.
