My dad also had a similar experience on Oman Air Apex Suites where a family of adults behaved as if they owned the cabin, making noise and repeatedly requesting to exchange seats with him for which he paid for. People are just hopelessly idiotic sometimes.
Air France cabin crew behaved the same way on a flight from Paris to Nairobi on December 12th.
"And now they're sent back.." 🤣🤣
Actually I like bus boarding, I can get a closer look at all the aircrafts on the apron and beyond..just makes me feel good.

As a proud Kenyan, I love this video. Great review of KQ. I 100% agree with you Cahill that it would have been annoying if the only business class paying customer wasn't comfortable. Kenyans have the habit of being loud and annoying. Forgive us. But thanks for the impartial KQ review

Royal air maroc has the same exact regional business class seats. Royal air maroc also has the new business class on the b787-9. And new economy class.

Very nicely presented as always Josh, thank you. I agree with you that it's very wrong for an airline to allow such behavior by their own employees and in particular in the class of anything but economy unless they were to have at least offered you an added incentive or suchlike.
You should probably try more of Africa Airline. As they are now improving on their services.
Also consider trying ETHIOPIAN AIRLINES new business class seat on their A350-900 with a 1-2-1 configuration.

Weird that they insisted on the E-Tkt number. PNR is enough... Unless... there is a no show flight, or the PNR gets purged after 72 hours of a completed schedule (flew and used ticket) or if you have a reissue ticket. But under normal conditions PNR is enough for the airline to access the ticket number.

I've been to Africa more than 50 times for business, and I've flown this route, both on Kenya and Ethiopian both on business many times. I've never encounter such problems, or I could be just too busy not caring these stuff.

The reason why it only has 9 business class seats compared to the usual 12 is that it's one of 2 ex-Air Astana E190's in Kenya's fleet according to Planespotters.

Brilliant Trip Report! I’m surprised the non revenue passengers weren’t following the mask rules. At the end of the day they are representing their airline / employer. Most airlines have strict rules for non-revenue passengers, especially if travelling in higher classes such as business or first!

Was the Kenyan Airlines Staff deadheading? It's 2021 after all, we have lowered our expectations so much we are now happy with a box meal after paying a premium price for a ticket! Id be grateful as well compared to the offerings of other Airlines as we have seen of late👍
So funny - LOL - 2 c cabin crew in full PPE. We in Canada r not allowed non-essential travel at this time .. so I very much miss my frequent vacations in Dominican Republic and Mexico

You are right, airline employees traveling should never draw attention to themselves and should help make sure that full fare paying passengers are given top notch service. The ground rules for Kenya Airways employees apparently are lacking!!!
