This fire department, even though it's all-volunteer is one of the most professional fire departments in this country. You are much better then a lot of fully paid fire fighting companies in this country and God bless everyone of you.
Been watching this channel since 2014. Its amazing how those 10 years just flew. From you just filming the trucks going out on calls to you now being a firefighter. Congratulations on your 50K and thank you for continuously serving our community for over 100 years!
Thank you for the demonstration, you have a very nice station, top vehicles and very well equipped for a volunteer fire department Congratulations on 1000 videos and 50000 subscribers Greetings from Germany 🚑🚒
No EMS? Do you guys go as first responders till a medic unit arrives or are you guys strictly fire response ? Also any of the trucks scheduled to be replaced soon?
The traffic unit will be next and then maybe the rescue We used to run ems until a few years ago, they merged with another organization, and the Ambulances are kept in a different area
We are strictly fire, except for cardiac arrests and persons struck. We will respond to a medical call if EMS needs assistance with something and they ask for us. And there are talks of replacing the Tower and Rescue at some point soon, but nothing definitive yet.
Yes it’s a quick grab bag for the hydrant. It lol contain adapters to connect to hydrants that don’t have a quick connection as in the Storz Lock that your LDH has on each end. The hydrant bag will have that fitting because common hydrants with three outlets 2 - 2 1/2 and the Large Diameter which measures up to 5-1/2 or 5-3/4 so that bag will have a gate for one of the 2-1/2 outlets, the storz adapter for your 4in or 5in supply line. There’s other adapters plus a spanner wrench and a hydrant wrench which typically acts as a spanner as well.
That is because several years ago the county changed the numbering system to eliminate the dashes. Our number used to be 5-12, and it is now 50. The department didn't want to pay to get everything lettered again, so the 5-12 was kept and anything purchased afterwards would get 50 on it.
Been subscribed since April of last year when I found yall! Congrats on 50K and I wish I could make it up there for y’all’s open house but I live in NC so it won’t happen, but god bless y’all!
I would like to ask a question sir: what are the pipes that connect to the trucks from the roof? I have never seen them in Italy, I take this opportunity to congratulate you for this wonderful video and for the important work you do for the community
They connect to the exhaust on the vehicles. That way the exhaust is expelled from the building and does not contaminate the apparatus bay with carcinogenic materials from the exhaust
I will try to be at the open house with my grandsons from York. I'm sure we would all enjoy the day, and I know you and the crews will definitely have a good time, especially if you have stand-by coverage.
Always enjoy your videos, thanks for sharing them with the world, stay safe and well done, you all deserve a medal for the work you do, greetings from England.
Hell of a lot better set up this us ny depts tbh we set our trucks to what we do and half the shit yall got on we would look at and ask why but very understandable what pa runs compared to us ny
If it’s going to any other vehicle than the Rescue, Engine, or Tower… then what you’re asking about will be the “shoreline” it keeps the batteries charge and ready to go. There’s a shoreline to each apparatus plus a air hose to keep the actual trucks air tanks filled to supply air to the air brakes and the horn.
But I think you’re referencing the pipes. Those are the exhaust ventilation hoses. They connect to custom exhaust tips with magnets to keep the exhaust fumes out of the station and off the firefighters turnout gear.
@@goldengaming7036 Thank you very much for your answer. It is a beautiful video, very well detailed. You do a great job. I love when the trumpets of glory sound!
Thank you for the close up look at Traffic 50! =) (Shoutout to the WSFC FP!)

I'll be there! Hope to meet you (except I don't know you, still hope tho!)
I'll be there as well haha, Thanks!
See tower 80 still looks good
If your station is 50, why is the trucks labeled rescue 5-12 not rescue 50 and so on?

19:22 3 pedals? I know the q and horn, but whats the third? Never seen one with 3 pedals
The 3rd is for the electronic siren, however it isn't hooked up
Are you guys going to be selling Shirts at the open house?
Yes, I believe so
More fire truck videos
Hydrant bag?

Wasn’t there 2 engines truck rescue and 2 squad
I think the Same they have Engine 502 where ist Engine 501 ?
Engine 1 was sold several years ago and replaced with the TAC
why is most your apparatus you call it something different than what is marked on the truck for example Rescue 50 is called rescue 5-12.
That is because several years ago the county changed the numbering system to eliminate the dashes. Our number used to be 5-12, and it is now 50. The department didn't want to pay to get everything lettered again, so the 5-12 was kept and anything purchased afterwards would get 50 on it.
You guys have very nice truck's and equipment.
Thanks!
You are a great service for our community. 🚑🚒You responded to the passing of my father at WillowValley a number of years ago.

The black hard looking things? They are called "Hard Suction" for drafting out of rural areas.
They connect to the exhaust on the vehicles. That way the exhaust is expelled from the building and does not contaminate the apparatus bay with carcinogenic materials from the exhaust
@@Justin-jw7gc oh thanks And! i'm sorry for my Inglish
Looks like the kitchen needs re-renavaded, if i was a multi-millionaire i would buy company's new apparatus and stations, but I'm not 😢

What function does the yellow connector hose that comes out of the vehicles towards the roof have?
