Question: Have you adjusted the graphics for the game? it looks like you're playing with very low graphics. I'm sure any PC or laptop these days can handle the highest settings, even if they have integrated GPUs. Btw can't believe the game CRASHED first time you tried to create a family. And they're charging $30 for this? Shame on EA.
I'm using the "out of box" experiance. i built my PC so I know it can handle this game... it runs sims 3 without much issue. so I know it's not my PC. yeah the game crashing like that is definitely a bug. apreantly the sims team are going to put out some bug fixes... but I'm not holding my breath. espeacalily with the state of the sims 4.

@@southernnerdmust be a bug. I built mine last year and not a single crash playing sims 2 so far. Lots of object errors but I just ignore them
