When i first did the parachuting part i also failed it for that same reason. I was afraid that i would hit the ground before the parachute opened but i didn't realise that the gravity of the whole planet would be adjusted for the jump in that mission
@@lossantoscast funnily enough that is actually what you're supposed to do in that part! It leads to the easiest jump to that helicopter. Just don't open it. Its crazy. But i *did* open it because i allowed my brains to use LOGIC which was of course a mistake which ended up making me fall

I had some serious bugs in the rooftop escape part of the mission and had to do it multiple times just because I fell through the floor, died while trying to climb or fell too fast when you have to parachute. I just had to use the frame limiter for this mission. Having too good of a pc can make your experience worse in this game since you can't choose a middle ground like 60 fps... it's either unlocked of 25 (I think it's 25 for some reason)

You can fix that with mods such as mixsets or silent patch, if I'm not mistaken.
