    This Catamaran has a ton of storage. Sailed the 1160 for 1 week and I was impressed of the sailing performance. Defently for anyone who's going for long range cruising single handed. I love this ⛵!!!!!

    This is a beautiful boat. My husband really likes his monohull but this catamaran size and style with the different engine options has him eyeing it...fingers crossed

    It's amazing how my better your marketing of Seawind cats is, than Seawind themselves. Great video, great website, and great messaging.

    A big fan of the 1160 lite with outboard motors. My biggest critique are the open lines being more exposed to the elements

    • @MultihullCentral1
      @MultihullCentral1  4 года назад

      Yeah I think people worry about this more than they need to. Certainly not something we here owners complain about and the lines are made with UV stable outer casing that you can end to end after a few years if you feel the need

    I am curious how this will compare to the aventura 37. Not everyones focus is on sailing performance and also price matters...

    Trying to decide between this and the 1260. A few months ago Seawind cats were not under my radar. Now they got my full attention.

      They come with either petrol outboards or it's also possible to get an 1160 "classic" with diesels - with the 1260 as a third option. - petrol is sometimes easier to find but agains that you get more power generation with the diesels and you get an additional cockpit fridge and lazaret locker for rope storage, plus the sail locker is larger as the diesel fuel tanks are in the bilges. - just a thought.

    I really like the Seawind but I don't know about the galley down. I don't mind the galley itself, but it really takes away from the bathroom situation for the guest quarters. Other than that, love just about every feature.

    A 21'4" beam on a 38' boat is very wide. Seems it would make for incredible mid-deck slap when the waves are abeam. Plus it would be charged 2x at any berth.

    Hi, I saw your video on the seawind 1160 and it took my breath away. The cataman is the one for me, but I am Disable America Veteran and retired U.S. Military. If I was able to buy one it would be a used seawind 1160 under $ 120,000.00 that is all I have in the bank. Multihull Central, would they have a program to help people in owning a catamaran to sail the ocean with the help of your company. Thanks for reading my comments.

    Nice boat, "But" 8min 32 seconds and No price? Alarm Bells Ringng" I will stick to my 32ft Tiki, For half the price and half the comfort.. Sailing is all about your own comfort zone and safety, You can make it hard or soft for yourself, That boat would turn me into a Soy Sailor..

    I’ve seen better looking garden sheds than this ugly monstrosity of a vessel.

    • @Pete4053
      @Pete4053 4 года назад +5

      Hi Eleni. Your comment intrigues me. I've test-sailed a number of garden sheds but they all performed terribly and tended to sink. Could you recommend a good garden shed which stays afloat and sails well?
      Also, what is the best headsail or MPS for a garden shed? I've tried both upwind and reaching headsails on garden sheds with mixed results.
      Thanks in advance.

    • @i2itv1
      @i2itv1 4 года назад

      Well, the fact that you say that you’ve test sailed garden sheds in the past says it all really! I’m now assuming you’re a Trump supporter as well?
      I’ve never actually tried sailing sheds myself as I’m not stupid and know that they do sink however, I’m sure if you turn your garden shed upside down, cover it in GRP it will probably float. It might even resemble this very closely and you will have saved yourself a fortune.
      With regards to upwind sails for it...don’t waste your time!

    • @Pete4053
      @Pete4053 4 года назад +5

      @@i2itv1 I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. I haven't sailed a garden shed. It was a joke. Most people wouldn't need this explained, but I'm happy to make an exception in your case.
      I'm no Trump fan. Like Trump they tend to be needlessly angry & aggressive, as well as ignorant & stupid. For example they might make an unprovoked, angry and nonsensical comment like 'I’ve seen better looking garden sheds than this ugly monstrosity of a vessel'.
      You sure you're not a Trump supporter?
