The diff cup issue is a set up issue, lower the ride height by using the lower outside holes all around.. never have that problem again. Duanwishbone suspension is not designed to have that much drop. It turns the dogbone into a pry bar.. besides it will handle like the stadium truck it actually is
I ordered alloy stand offs and diff cups from the beginning. Also, I drilled out the wheelie bar attachment holes and put a heavy gauge screw in and zero problems since. Also, don’t listen to them about moving the esc… they make tons of 3s-.4s higher Mah batteries that fit perfectly without moving nothing. Do what I said for upgrades (which is peanuts) and enjoy your vehicle
@@RC-Closer1313 Thanks. Surprising that the dif cups are weak, yet the wheel cups at the other end which are also a dog-bone setup in the rear holdup just fine?!
Not for nothing but the reviewers who were reputable and gave this truck a huge thumbs up are going to loose alot of credibility due to the Omni not being the best RC ever. I already have stopped following all the ones that sang its praises and I imagine others who feel a bit cheated will as well. Thanks for making this video I thought I was the only one who did not see this car as the so called Holy Grail its fast but so is the Mini E Revo and for the same money and a support system that you can call and ask questions, I reached out to the support by Rlaarlo so many times I can recite their phone number by heart, again thanks for telling it like it is...oh yeah I've tried to order parts from the company and I wasn't able to get any.
Isn’t the e Revo, a smaller scale and a hundred dollars more if you get the battery and charger and the tsm? …. You are going to unsubscribe from a bunch of channels because all of them are positive . And nobody said this was the best RC out there ….they said it’s the best for 250 dollars and under and now it’s even cheaper. Tell me which brand and model doesn’t break or wear down?….then tell me if it’s 200 dollars
Yeah, need to limit the throttle when in the air, i.e. when suspension fully extended, unless you get the upgraded cups that they sell. Be prepared to wait weeks before they even ship them out to you though!!! 😠
Did you checked your diff fluids? I added 100k to the front and rear, and one million (because i couldnt find 500k in my country :D ) and after 2 3s batteries the cups are like new. Also i found out, that the bearings inside the hub are low quality, and they are half seized after first bash so i oiled the little ones, they were fine, and i changed the bigger ones for sealed bearings from my trx4. Bear in mind, that im running my truck on 100C 3s batteries, and i changed ESC to hobbywing 10BL120 with punch to the max :D. And that wobble thing with the wheels is maybe because the holes are installed in the rims itself and not the tires like they should be.
Hi mate I've had to change my controller because my antenna tip dropped off. And put GT5 controller and receiver. And put a castle mamba pro esc so I can go 4s and thicker centre differential oil. Great video mate 👍 😂
I’ve watched almost every video on RUclips & all other media sites & I’ve only heard of one coming with a rear reversed dif but these are coming from people that got the first models. I’ve not seen any of a lot of the other issues your mentioning due you have any reference to certain videos? There is no perfect RC but for the price of the Terminator your getting more for sure it’s very well made. The body mounts could use some pads on them. I think you are way overthinking everything go out n run it have fun & then see what breaks because it appears you haven’t broke anything? But your just warning people what may happen 😂
I've broke shock standoff screws and bent the rear shock tower. Other than that and diff cup wear it's been pretty solid. Problem is if it breaks and I need a replacement part the truck might be down for a month before Rlaarlo sends replacements unless parts have become available on Amazon already
@@DaveKoko Everyone runs there’s different set them up different but from my experience since I’ve had mine I take it out all the time Ive been jumping it & I have a good feel for the throttle today I had it out & it was just a blast I’m not gentle with it either I’m not just doing speed runs I’m running it off-road & sending it through everything you definitely don’t want to run it with big rocks around but it’s solid I’ve had nothing break or fall apart I did notice a wheel getting a little wobble could be the bearing but other then that it’s still running hard.
Naw just the diff cup and dogbone pin at diff cup driverside rear is worst but all show signs of pre mature failure, I like the truck but to fail too soon under no bashing and rlaarlo trying not to accept return but im relentless with them standing behind there product, and return policy @CSL33

I found mine has a bent center drive shaft, and the diff cups are showing wear already after only a couple packs run though it.

What size pack?
Yes I bought due to the small size and great power in lil package but my front wheels are wobbly
Apparently for the diff cup if you adjust your droop it will alleviate the pressure...

Lots of defective cups and drive shafts all mine are bent and the rear left is so bent on jumps it runs against the sway bar

Put the traxxas rubber wheelie bar wheels on, or at least the slip on ones.
Does your's drive straight? Mine doesn't, it veers to the right. Is it damaged out of the box, or can I make some adjustments?
Adjustments on the transmitter
Did you adjust your steering trim
Sounds like it should be only ran on 2s
