I think it could be worth it if they tackle some of the stuff you mentioned head on. such as battery life, and hopefully the heat, I am so close to get my first camera, and i've dicided to go with the fx30, dispite wanting the sony zv e1. how ever I am keeping a full eye open on the zve10 II, for the right price, and preformance awesoem vid m8 cheers!
I have the Sony Zve10 and hope the mark ii has better build quality, 10 bit video, S-Cinetone for under $1,000. If so my ZVE10 will become my back up camera.

I hope they get the rolling shutter under control, the OG zve10 was horrible/unuseable while not on a tripod.
So it turns out that there actually is a point of diminishing return when it comes to bokeh effect.
Overheating is my #1 concern. I was gonna get the ZV-E10 but recently found out that the mk-II will be out in a couple of days
