Yes
Yes you should replace struts in pairs. Than you for checking out our Camaro front strut replacement video.
Is there a particular torque on those nuts? I’ll be doing this at home
You may be able to look up the correct torque specs for the top of the struts online.
65 ft/lb for the top sturt nut. And 160 ft/lb for the 2 15/16 bolts on the bottom of the strut.
You put the bolts through the opposite side of the. Probably not a big deal but I usually try to put it back the way I found it .
Thanks for watching. They are fine.
Is it possible to replace just the top mount ? I have a 2014 camaro and my right front strut mount seems to be messed up. Before I pay the dealer all kinds of money should i replace the top mount by itself?
Not sure if the sell a top mount. This was a pretty easy job to do.
Any idea why when I lowered my Camaro the cap on top was not flush. I can see the strut on top
You may want to see if the top of the strut is contacting something that is preventing it from sitting flush for you.
