Awesome video, thank God GM makes their cars similar. I've been looking for a coilover install video for a 2013 Caprice PPV for a few days now. There's NOTHING. This looks close enough. Thanks!!
Thanks for watching..dont forget to sub
Awesome Video! Do you know whatsthe lowest height the coilovers can go?
Thank you
Hey big chief thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe and hit that bell
You the man klown daddy
Lol thanks man!
nice video explaining the whole install, my car has pillow ball mount and camber plates on the BC BR coilover itself. Am thinking to remove them and using stock rubber mounts instead just like in this video.

Are you kidding me .... you are great. I have a 2014 ss 1le camaro. I may take on this install based on your awesome vid
Ace Rollin awesome..thank u and good luck!
i want 22 inc wheels on my camaro which way would be the best in lowering my suspension while still being able to fit the wheel
I got a 2015 SS and I plan on getting the same ones. However my rim set up will be 20x10 front 20x11 rear 315/35/20 275/35/20 front. Will they clear
What spring rates did you get and were they comfortable?
Well done, must give credit to camera girl for the terrific video skills . See Ya !!
+Steve Rob lol thanks ill let her know that shes doing a good job
Where are the caster/camber plates on these cars ..? I don't get it
nice

My end link didn't align up . I believe I'll have to go buy some adjustable ones from summit.
Hey klowny great vid. Im installing the same suspension on same car but my end link does not reach the braket on the coilover. Are you using adjustable end links?
Lol I’m doing this rn, what did you do about this?
@@joshmcdaniel7579 it reaches. The sway bar moves a little bit so you kinda have to play with it a little bit. Couple weeks later I got the adjustable end links from fatboy garage because the stock ones were making a clunking noise. Turns out they didn't tighten all the way with these coilovers for some reason but might be different with your car.
I have these on my 03 maxima which I brought used. I never changed the set up from how the guy who won’t the car before me had it set. The rear is set just a bit higher then the front but it has play, it’s softer. I can press on the rear of the car & the coilovers go down. The front however have absolutely no play what so ever. Are the front coilovers broken or is it set so low & hard that it doesn’t allow for any play? What’s ur opinion on this?
I know it's been a year since you posted but front spring rates tend to be double and in some cases even triple those on the rear due to transmission and engine being in front etc.
Do you have to remove the foam insulator? I've seen some threads and they removed the foam insulator. please reply Thank You!
Jerico Navarro i dont remember..i detailed everything in the video..i do alot of cars
No sway bar blink?
I was always told to put the jack stand perpendicular to the frame rails
Incase you lean on the car it doesn't slide off.
what transmission fluid would you recommend for a 2013 Camaro SS (automatic)? I was thinking royal purple.
Royal purple is good
Thanks for the reply. :)
Great video! You deserve a better impact gun though lol
Thanks lol
So why not use the provided wrenches to adjust height. Also you need to measure ride height from to top of the spring to the top collar. And a grand for 3/4 inch drop
i just replace the passenger side axel and the car still makes thudding noises when i brake or accerlrate or when turning SMH uggghhh frustrating
I have a gap at the top where the nut holds the coil over to the car. if i jack the car up it pulls the coilover down and the gap disappears. is the coil over supposed to float like this?
Yes that's normal
Same, do you get a clunking sound when you hit bumps?
We’re you able to figure this issue out? Is it supposed to be like this or not because I’m having the same issue installing them right now
My dad has a fifth gen camaro and he got spacers put on it so now the fender is scraping the edge of the tire should he get coilovers for a stiffer suspension to prevent it from bouncing into the tire or a fender roll????????
Question is, why'd he get spacers? New Rims?
+DarkSidesHero eventually after we solve this issue
+Matthew Abajian Well if he still has the stock rims then I don't see why he put on spacers.
+DarkSidesHero 1. For looks and 2. He's planning on getting tired for the spacer to put it in use after the issue is solved cause we don't want this issue on the new tores
+Matthew Abajian +Matthew Abajian Guessing he wants a wider look? Might as well just grab some 10.5" rims with the proper offset. Hit up www camaro5 com for the correct offsets.
have u ever done coil overs for a third gen yet ?
+Matthew Lanahan yes i have..couple of times..but have not recorded it yet..thanks for watching
Do you not have to set preload with these coilovers?
Jacob McCrea I believe I mentioned that
9:06 were you re-adjusting the height here? You mentioned you were not going to mess with the way they came
Didn’t torque on the nut side
no spring compressor required??
Chuck Davis no sir
LMFAO
Lol she has other things in mind hahaha
lol gotta keep my cameragirl in check sometimes
nice
