Always a highlight of the week when Teo uploads. I really like the repeat photo of the distant house at 13:59, it feels like the poster for the movie 10 Cloverfield lane.
Hello, you inspired me to shoot film. I just bought Minolta SRT 303b two month ago and I love it. And I love all of your videos, very calming and makes me want to go out with my camera. Thank you, Love from Indonesia.
I'm starting to really enjoy reflections. I'm much more interested in photography than friends and family, so I'm always taking photos, while rarely being photographed myself - so it's a nice little easter egg for me to find myself in a window, a bird's eye, or a pair of sunglasses. It helps put me into the scene, and remind me that I was present too, rather than being some disembodied observer.
Teo Too much negative feed back from viewers. You don’t like the content then don’t watch it. I love that you keep it real your videos inspire the amateurs. I can relate that’s why I love your channel it’s real! Keep up the great work❤
i really loved this video. THe idea to get on a train and let the scenes come to you is so great. And the light that day and the film stock were wonderful. You got some really great pictures out of it
Shooting out of trains has been an extremely frustrating experience for me. I don’t know how many times I’ve tried it and never got anything I liked, but... man, you got some bangers! The power pole works so well with the overhead lights cutting the top part, and forming a triangle with the pole and the bushes. You could say it’s pure luck, but... the way I see it, it’s a great photo and if you hadn’t taken it, no one would’ve. I really, really liked a lot of the other photos too. And Luminar 100 seems to have excellent sharpness. The photo of the lady in the red coat is so crisp that at first sight I was convinced I had misunderstood something and that this was shot with a digital camera. Overall it seems like an amazing filmstock.
That is a very interesting film stock. For the most part it reminds me of portra, no grain and very sharp with nice pastel colors.. and then the red hits you! The red pops really hard compared to the other colors and I love it! Also, great video as always! :)
Indeed it‘s quite interesting! PoPho themselves claim that the film has a higher red sensitivity, which I hadn’t thought about but got very lucky with by accidentally choosing subjects with a lot of red haha🙌🏼
I absolutely love the "Color Grading" in your videos; If you ever make a video on video color grading, I'll be there! BTW, the images also as usual, look just astonishing and beautiful.
Weird RUclips must know I just bought a K1000 because I keep getting suggested videos of people shooting on them lol That aside, great video! I'm still waiting to receive mine and I'm excited as I've never looked through an SLR before let alone shot with one and its an experience I'm really excited for. You've got some wonderful shots, and even that one you said you regretted still had a "lomographic" look to it that has some character to it. I like film I think more so for the texture it gives even seemingly "bad" photos, its why disposable camera photos can look so bad but so memorable! There's a coffee shop that sells a B&W stock I haven't seen before near me that I'm gonna try when I get mine, you're video and the others I've seen are very inspiring!
Which lens did you use with your camera for these shots? Also I'm interested in your CineStill800T video if you had used the lens that came with the Praktica TL1000 or do you use other lenses for these videos. I am thinking of picking myself up a Praktica.
Hello, hope I can get your reply, I’ve never tried film camera before, I am just wonder have you ever retouch your film? Like colour tone or white balance in your phone or computer? Thank you.❤PS I really love your videos, pls keep going🎉
Love this channel. Super high quality and eye pleasing content. I wanted to ask you guys about smth. I have a question about film scans. Shot my 1st film not a long time ago and sent it to get developed. There were three options: jpeg, jpeg large (+$3), and TIF (+$5). I decided to choose the last one cause I didn;t want to go cheap on my 1st film. The size of scans I got were huge, 40 to 80 MB or even more. So my question would be is it worth to pay more for a better quality scans or even regular jpeg could work?
Aww thank you!🫶🏼☺️ Hmm to be honest for your first film especially I think I would have gone cheap, because it‘s your first roll, which is basically the highest probability of unsatisfactory results😅 If I were you, I‘d probably differentiate between rolls that hold personal memories and rolls that are intended to be high quality photography (however you may define that for yourself). I suppose the high quality is only necessary if you’re shooting stuff that you consider really good. But if you plan on shooting film for longer I‘d highly recommend that you get into self-scanning as fast as possible. It‘ll save you sooo much money. At least in my case my lab charges the most for the scanning service. Their development fee is quite cheap I find. If you‘re interested, I made a video on how I scan🙌🏼
You should come to visit Slovakia once, since it's so close. I think it would be interesting for you to do some exploration there. Nice video, as usual. Makes me want to ride that OBB train on a cool sunny morning :)
Hi! I really love your videos as they are helping me to understand composition and the magic of everyday moments and ordinary life. I´m from Slovakia and i recently got into film photography. I was wondering if you could maybe make a video about your Praktica camera? I have the same one and i´ve been struggeling to find videos about it, you are the first one I got to see with it. Anyways I love your content!
Hey, i just finished my first roll of film for a 35mm film camera, and after i brought it to the store i noticed that my dumb ass didnt put in the right ISO, so i shot a 400 ISO film roll with a 75 ISO setting on the camera, is it gonna make the photos all black or white?
Sehr sehr schönes Video. Wenn ich mit dem iPhone aus dem Fenster fotographiere nerven mich die Spiegelungen aber bei deinen Fotos aud Film sieht es sehr idyllisch aus.
Seeing the price of a roll I instantly bought some, though shipping did get me a bit ($7 from Canada to US) but hopefully they can find their way into other countries
Interesting film - thanks for sharing! One question since you live in Austria but your name and accent sound British I would like to know if you also have ancestry from outside of Austria
I use an app on my phone, I actually made a short video on that topic - you can check it out here if you like: ruclips.net/video/sPf7HBdMi0w/видео.html
That’s a pity :( May I mention however, that I don’t only share what I consider good. I like to keep it honest and show everything even when the photographs aren’t very good👍🏼
What’s your problem?😅 I‘m not like some insanely good photographer or something. I just enjoy the process and try my best. There’s no waste to that. If you think you could do better that’s great! I surely still need years of practice and that is what this channel is about - keeping it real and showing the good and the bad photographs👍🏼
The shot of the railway workers from the train is really nice - the composition and light nails it.
Aww thanks!☺️🙌🏼
That one was my favorite too.
yes! screams for print! :DDDDDD
Your videos are always so calming and they encourage me to grab some film and go out to try some shots of my own!
Ahhh that‘s lovely, please do try some shots yourself!🥹🙌🏼
yes, for voice, not for actual shots :)
yes you can now grab your camera and jump to train and shoot "nothing"
I like the greenish hue of this film stock
Always a highlight of the week when Teo uploads. I really like the repeat photo of the distant house at 13:59, it feels like the poster for the movie 10 Cloverfield lane.
Ohhh cool, thank you!☺️🙌🏼
Super cozy film. I love the colors and how the sunlight added to every photo 😊
Great video!!!!! So cool that They sent you some film to try out! Those train seats are such a cool foreground element!
The shots on the town are astonishing!! I've loved the painting look, it remembered me Edward Hopper's work

What’s so satisfying about 2:35 is that the light reflect and the top of the power pole match pretty well 🎉
Ohhh true, well spotted!😍
Der shot mit den orangen Arbeitern oder der von der blauen Fassade mit den fenstern is glaub ich mein fav aus dem Video! Wie immer sehr nices Video ^^
Ohhh cool, das freut mich! Danke dir☺️🙏🏼
Your videos are very inspiering for somebody starting out doing film photography in Vienna (me) :)
Keep it up!
Excellent adventure and images. Subscribed.

I just discovered your channel! So entertaining and fun to watch I love how you give and find beauty in the simple things in life
Ohh cool, welcome to this corner of RUclips! Glad you‘re enjoying it!☺️🙌🏼

Sitting in Canada, so jealous of the idea of hopping on a random train.
i really loved this video. THe idea to get on a train and let the scenes come to you is so great. And the light that day and the film stock were wonderful. You got some really great pictures out of it
Love the photos you took with this film! ❤️ also cool idea, we need more trains in Canada haha

I actually didn’t tweak the reds, they really pop that much😮💨
PoPho also claims that this film has a higher sensitivity to red🙌🏼
Amazing photos! I’ve been working with black and white film recently but this definitely encouraged me to switch it up!
Your channel is so cozy, like watching a Studio Ghibli film. Great work friend ✌
Beautiful shots. I hope you would also show the focal length, aperture, ss and iso in your future videos.

It's scary thinking you're just like me, like myself I prefer going alone, going to places spontaniously taking photos, keep up the great job Teo :)

Not sure if I understand all this correctly but what is so cool about taking photos of train seats?
I really liked the traveling vibes in this video. It would be cool to see a street photography session in Slovakia if possible. 🙂
Ohhh cool, love that thank you!☺️
Hmm maybeee?🤔🤷🏻♂️
I wonder what will be the outcome of the photography if you travel to different countries with more scenic view, and especially Japan.

The first shot of the tiny house was my favorite of the bunch.
I think the lack of clouds actually make it more paint like, idk just my taste
Ahhh that’s an interesting take, thanks!☺️🙌🏼
Love your vids Teo!
Aww thanks!🥹🙏🏼

Oh this is a pink film, like SantaColor100 - already from the first photos I thought it looks so similar to results of that film stock
such a good video
Interesting film - thanks for sharing!
One question since you live in Austria but your name and accent sound British I would like to know if you also have ancestry from outside of Austria
You should come visit us in Slovakia sometime. Bratislava is like an hour ride from Vienna. Might be a nice photo trip. :)
I should indeed!🤩
Any difference between laminar and santacolor ?????
its the same Kodak Aerocolor 2460

Amazing video
Aww thanks!🥺🙏🏼
Love ur vids!
Thank you!🥹🙏🏼
I like your videos
Aww thank you!🙏🏼🥹
Do you use a light meter or is there one built into the camera?

i like!
Ohh sweet, glad you do!☺️🙌🏼
What shutter speed did you shoot at?
what's the song in the starting?
I know your always collecting cheap cameras, I personally think you should look around for an old Kodak point and shoot
willem verbeeck is the teo crawford of usa
We’re you the only passenger on the train?
Sorry, But I was disappointed with this presentation. I don't think the images are worthy of this program.
That’s a pity :(
May I mention however, that I don’t only share what I consider good. I like to keep it honest and show everything even when the photographs aren’t very good👍🏼
what a waste of film... are you for real, mate? long time not laughing that loud :D
