Man this is absolutely wonderful. I'm only going to embarrass myself if I try to describe what I like about it, but everything just feels really good and balanced, stuff resolves in a really satisfying and unexpected way, it's just a total pleasure to listen to. Can't wait for the album.
This is absolutely awesome Benn. I've been watching your video demos etc from time to time but didnt realize how fantastic and elegant your music - and the accompanying visuals are. Only just discovered this and am glad I did....
OMG i've been listening your music since 2010 and this is a GREAT new to me. I really like how you use the strings. Actually i'm in a musical project (another style very different but your sound is one of my top influences.) Respect for you master.
The way you were able to sync some of the visual elements with parts of the music was very impressive. That had to be a nuanced, painstaking process. Outstanding overall audio-video package!
Crazy good job, both audio and visual. If I may ask, what programs did you use for the comp? I'm especially interested in the mountain grass comp, it almost looks like an unreal engine scene. Did you use Element3D or did you create all of the models/animations in C4D/3DSMAX/Maya? I'm an engineer student (merely started, though!) interested in media technologies and 3D-compositions, and while I'm fairly proficient with After Effects, I couldn't make something as cool as this!
If the artist of this song didn't hear Farbrausch's ".The .Product" I'd be very surprised. I'm not saying it's a rip-off, but the inspiration for this track might've come unconsciously from that demo.
Is this piece of music as generative as many others on your channel? Im wondering because I saw a lot of generative, or modular synth type sounds/ music in your channel, but this has so many parts with specific melodic string themes etc - are they also the result of a code/patch whatsoever or where they composed/played actively by you? Enjoyed the music!
Surprised to see no one pointing out the fact that there is a quick - but obvious - sample from "undiscovered colors" in the beginning. Going to bend the word hear: Hear - hard of hearing - sheepheard 😁
On the 9/1 I am going to miss What so much. Seeing your new album uploaded, and having the first listen for free, knowing I would buy It right after always made me want to own it more... Actually was some of the best experiences buying music since I was a teen. It was a lot like going to the record store and asking the shop owner to play the record even though I knew I was going to buy it. And then just stand and do a mental freak-out over the amazing tunes I was about to have access to. Thank you Benn. Just realised that meant a lot to me.
Well then, guess I'll be buying that on September 1st. I thoroughly enjoyed the animation and it's connection to the mood of the music. Emerging from the tunnel was one of my favorite parts. Has the same yet progressing quality I've come to appreciate from all of your work. Thanks again.
I see motes, particles, fluid dynamics simulation, fractals and procedural awesomeness. Are you familiar with the demoscene because this (including your amazing music) is very reminiscent of some realtime visuals (yes, realtime) stuff I've seen. Don't ever stop imagining, don't ever stop creating. Looking forward to the release.
holy shit i havent checked out benn jordan's work in years, so glad this appeared in my recommended videos, absolutely stunning. a bit reminiscent of "undiscovered colours". props to you benn, keep doing your thing!
Benn Jordan, very cool work, bravo !!! You have very high quality music and animations that you just don’t really forget! I still admire your track - "Undiscovered Colors"! The same track, even cooler than "Undiscovered Colors"! Low bow to You for your work!
Been listening to your music for 8+ years and you still surprise me dude. If this song is any solid indication, this album will be incredible for me. Keep growing!
Some passages and the overall atmosphere of this new song remind me too much of "Opus At The End Of Everything". Benn, could you possibly be out of new ideas? This cannot be - at least I hope so. I will buy the album anyway. "Planet Nine" was excellent, but the last great Flashbulb album was "Hardscrabble" IMHO.
Alessandro Manica i hear a lot from Opus in this--but it also has the strings of Arboreal and that neo-bassline Nothing is Real brought. If this is showcasing the atmosphere of the new album, I'd love to hear a dash of Soundtrack to a Vacant Life thrown into the mix. also a new lawn wake would be sick, for old-times sake
I do agree with you, but it's not the first time that Benn is recycling passages from Opus. One of Benns peculiar traits was to take always a twist you wouldn't expect and still sound fantastic. This is something I miss in his latest Flashbulb releases, I hope the other compositions in his forthcoming album will prove me wrong. BTW I adore Arboreal and Soundtrack To A Vacant Life.
Alessandro Manica I like the way you think about his music, and I completely agree. Though--I do feel Nothing is Real was a perfect album to throw into his toolbox for new twists/adaptations/progressions
I like Nothing Is Real, but he did better albums, IMHO. Apart from the three masterpieces mentioned earlier, my other all-time-favourite-LPs are Resent And The April Sunshine Shed, Kirlian Selections, Reunion and Flexe: Programmable Love Songs. But there are also a lot of wonderful tracks in his other albums, from Candles to A Baptist Church in Georgia. And I love his works under his own name, too.
This song has such a strong and controlled atmosphere while still being gentle and melodic. Very well done man, I truly enjoyed it.
You just described Benn's entire aesthetic. September can't come fast enough.
Couldn't have said it better myself!
Wow there are hundreds of electronic artists with far less talent who are far more famous.
a real shame
still true
I will never understand ! Hes amazing.
Yeah brother :(

You are in 3017
It sounds like a "underscoverd colors" on steroids and glitches)))
Yeah remix Future, the genre is IDM, I love make IDM
I'm not good with words but this song sends me through many different emotions, and the animation is beautiful. Really appreciate it.
true renaissance man
Aesthetic.
It’s more that it
This looks like a demoscene production.... Check out "debris demo" on RUclips.
Uhh
This is absolutely awesome Benn. I've been watching your video demos etc from time to time but didnt realize how fantastic and elegant your music - and the accompanying visuals are. Only just discovered this and am glad I did....
How you discovered this? I discovered it for Mr.Bill and because I love this genre, it’s IDM, and I love make IDM TOO!
Whoaa, Flashbulb is back!!
OMG i've been listening your music since 2010 and this is a GREAT new to me. I really like how you use the strings. Actually i'm in a musical project (another style very different but your sound is one of my top influences.) Respect for you master.

Amazing
The Union show was incredible!
You did all this yourself?! Holy shit!
Excellent video
Don’t know what you have to go thru to produce/create this, but I enjoyed watching and listening.
Am I the only one hearing "pink Soldiers" from the Squid Games OST 00:33 ?
oh god i forgot how much i like the flashbulb, i haven't listened it since Soundtrack To A Vacant Life was released
I love too flashbulb, and I see that you like Aphex twin too like me :))
Yes, Angel 🔊🌊🕊️

Benn Jordan thank you very much for the response! This was the last push I needed to motivate me to finally learn C4D :)

This absolutely needs a VR version

Everything you make is an individual experience, and I can't wait until I've experienced it all
reminds me of the 40k mechanicus soundtrack but more peacefull and less long.
I really like it
It’s Feb 2021 and still rocking this amazing song.
1 April brother!
April 2023

this is unbelievable
Of course Daniel!
reminds me of something I'd see released from the demoscene
The piano sounds like Hang drum.
All is vibration. All is crystalline.
I see motes, particles, fluid dynamics simulation, fractals and procedural awesomeness. Are you familiar with the demoscene because this (including your amazing music) is very reminiscent of some realtime visuals (yes, realtime) stuff I've seen. Funny, I totally thought of the demo scene when I first watched this as well. Do you remember future crew's second reality? :) Amazing stuff!
Reminded me of Razor 1911 Bits Salad
Absolutely. This looks very reminiscent of some of Fairlight's more recent demos. 5 Faces, Numb Res and Spacecut come to mind. Awesome work Benn.
Absolutely amazing! Really looking forward to this.
yep yep
And this is made with FL studio?
i never want this to be over 😢😢😢
It has some similarities with Undiscovered Colors.
Masterpiece!
The video is also really good, fit perfectly with the music! You are an inspiration!
Exactly what i was thinking
Benn should be producing soundtracks for Sci-Fi or dystopian futuristic movies.

I can never get enough of this video and song. It’s on repeat. Make a 10 hour version!

Freaking brilliant job, unique experience as always Mr. Jordan

Dope track! Smashed that like button
Absolutely beautiful song and video. Thank you, Benn Jordan.
Benn, you are my hero! Nice c4d work, and your music is eargasm as always. Greetings from Moscow.
I finally found this. Dude, you are an inspiration!
Beyond brilliant
Been listening to your music for 8+ years and you still surprise me dude. If this song is any solid indication, this album will be incredible for me. Keep growing!

Aah! Such a pleasure to see a direct homage to the "Farbrausch fr-08 .the .product" (2000)
17 years later!
