  • Introducing the Flower Block. All you need is a jelly roll and 4 1/2 yds of background fabric.
    I did put a final border on this quilt of 2.5" background fabric, but I forgot to mention it in the video. Hope you enjoy it!

    I have quite a lot of very pretty strips, but wanted to make something more feminine and pretty. Your tutorial for the flower block is perfect. Thank you 💞

    Super cute block. Great instructions too. Both quilts have a special feel. I lean towards the medallion quilt since I’ve never made one. Thanks for sharing. Have a terrific week. ☺️

    Thank you Ashley for the patterns. I guess I will be making both, to see which method I like best. I’ll probably be making at least 4 quilts. I have lots of scraps and lots of girls to give them to.
    Have a Great weekend!😊

    Perfect the way you but it together. I see the light cabin element as well as the flower! Like a two-fer!

    Thank you! I prefer the blocks corner to corner with the medallion in the center of the squares. The extra borders keep it orderly and highlight the flowers. I was hoping for a written pattern as well.

    Really cute! It looks like a fat quarter bundle and layer cake will also work for this. I will have to try that because I don't currently have any jelly rolls bright enough for flowers.

    Thanks it looks great. Im going to make 4 blocks for a table topper. I think i will make the flowers all in one fabric. And i will put the bottoms all in center, like your second one. I like that look better. For me.

    Wonderful tutorial! It’s nice to have options. I like the way you arranged the blocks on the large quilt! If you had arranged them in four block flowers, would the size of your quilt be the same or would you have blocks left over?

    • @ashley-sunnymade2425
      @ashley-sunnymade2425  8 месяцев назад +1

      I made 56 flower blocks. So if you put them in groups of 4, you would have 14 of them. That’s kind of a weird number for a layout. But if you made only 48, you could have 12 and a 3x4 layout would work beautifully.

    Very cute. I like the original best but the one you made would be great for a twin bed. The crib one could really be scrappy

    I have plans for this quilt. I’ll be making maybe 3 different quilts. I have several girls that need Flower Quilts. I’m picking out colors as I type. Thank you for this.

    Can you please tell me the name of the pattern for one of the quilts in your opening sequence? The orange and white one with stars, diamonds and chains. It is so pretty. Maybe you can do a tutorial for it. Thank you fir all of the wonderful content. I enjoy your channel.
