I'm actually curious why AQ seems to never come up in (non-horde) cavalry nation discussions because afaik, they're the only nation that has +20% cavalry combat ability AND -20% cavalry cost (which I mention as important bc cost effectiveness is usually mentioned as a big weakness of cavalry) Also, forming Rum gives you the same "Move capital to Constantinople" decision as the Ottomans which is important to take bc it adds +4 to tax and production and +3 to manpower for a total of 11 development (and when forming Rum, that decision stacks with the one taken by the Ottomans) so you don't want to manually move your capital before forming Rum
Create a real Aragonese Trading Empire, owning every single Trade Center on the Mediterranean coast and have Venice and Genoa either not exist or subjugated by you

8:15 was a great opportunity to fight with almost 40k allies nearby and -2 to rolls from crossing. Such a big battle could be worth over 10 warscore. I would consider even hiring additional mercs just for this battle to be sure I will win and get more money or war reparations in the peace deal.

Like bruh, I was playing Byzantium and made a good alliance network. Then I declared war on the Ottomans. I had an 8K stack defending Constantinople with a 3-shock and 2-siege general and Local Defensiveness turned on. They attacked with 12K troops and no general, slaughtered my army and took Constantinople with a fully maintained fort in less than 140 days. The Ottomans are not OP, they are outright broken. To put into perspective just how broken they are. After that I played Portugal, 20K stack on Fez with a 3-siege general, 280 days. The Ottomans are just BRUH.
Yeah, the Ottomans are rather busted. I had a good Ruthenia game going awhile back and the Ottos declared on me. Same mil tech and everything, and they would completely wipe out armies 1-1.5 times their size, and even if me and Muscovy had twice as many men as them we could still lose. Made me ragequit and avoid the Balkans like the plague

In Real Life Lore both Aq Qoyunlu and Qara Qoyunlu were Horde. Also great Sheep Herders, Also Cattle Herders and Yeah Horse, they had lots of horses.
