I went to Israel with my wife and baby and had lunch with Ran there (inspired to go because of Ran's footage around the city). His channel is amazing, but he's honestly just a good guy in real life. He's a big reason why I was able to successfully leave my job and start a design/development agency a couple years ago now. Learned a ton through the years of following Ran's design journey. Recently, ended up raising some money and going all in on a startup, partly also inspired by Ran's journey with Prospero. Ran, I'm glad you keep going on RUclips. I’m going to be finishing my associates in the information tech field soon and I’ve felt like I’m not good enough yet. I wanted to give up before I even really started. It’s hard seeing awesome designers with so much experience and I’m on the other end but I see that I have to start from somewhere! I’m going to take more time to get better before putting myself out there to clients. 😄
I've similar story like you. I'm know in my high school and I do graphic stuff for my friends. Recently one of my friend's relative started a new software house and was looking for web developers, graphic designers etc. So my friend told him about me and he reached me out and checked my previous work. I did him some free sample projects. He loved my work and I'm know working with him as a part time designer. He is also helping me to start my journey on upwork.

I've been freelancing full-time since over a year, after working in companies for 5 years. It's really a matter of networking that really help me "sky-rocked" my career. Watching Flux (and learning webflow ;) ) gave me good advices, thanks to you!
Hi interesting story and motivationAL too for us I am also struggling one thing is same me also started from 3D studio maxs and want to be an exterior designer of building I learned from my own and achieve but unfortunately my software can upload so could not do any thing but then I started T shirt designs it's interesting but yes I made more than 725but still on zero work too much but gain nothing but still working ....because I know people like you won because you still not lose hope.....
I failed at freelancing because I am suck at communicating with people and making relationships. And I cannot work 9-5 job because I feel depressed as fuck when do it. So I am at the middle of nowhere now and don't know what to do with my life. At least I get some positive emotions watching your videos.
