The man gunned down in Colorado wasn’t a simple “prison warden”. He was the executive director of the entire Colorado Dept of corrections which there is no higher position and can only be hired by the current governor of Colorado. I was a correctional officer during this time and I can tell you that Mr. Clements was the nicest and most stand up man. He was very professional and the entire Dept of corrections was very hurt and shocked about his murder and if the prisons didn’t need to be monitored 24/7 than every member of the Colorado dept of corrections would have went to his memorial service.

They both had to go to AA and do a bunch of other alcohol treatment stuff and as long as they didn’t reoffend for a certain period of time, the DUI didn’t show on their records. Neither did any jail time either. So you’re right, a long jail sentence for a first DUI is an unusual.
I worked at the state hospital where Cynthia McClellan worked. She was very respected and a great nurse. The whole state hospital system personnel were devastated.

The cops arrested me for 1.5oz pot, an expired medical permit, and a legal gun and because I had the weed in daily dosages they charged me with felony distribution. the story makes no sense, jeez. it was stated he didnt take the monitors for personal use. they were for the courthouse surveillance system. more than likely there was some beef between him and the prosecutors office for whatever reason, and they made this case against him b/c he prob didnt do proper paperwork to get the monitors. regardless, there IS more to this story.

My ex-husband was a Los Angeles Co Sheriff Deputy. Within 12-18 months of joining, he was raging out of control physically and mentally. Thought he could do anything and get away with it. He was finally relieved of duty after three lawsuits were filed against him for excessive use of force, the last one being for 10 million dollars. I understand that they deal with the scum of the Earth and nothing but people who commit crimes-especially in gang areas like L.A. and I don't know what the answer is to this problem , but a huge problem exists.

I’m not 100% on this but I heard cops do that so if something like this happens where the cop gets shot and the suspect car escapes, then when they find the right person, there’s a good chance you’ll find the cops prints on the back of the car which helps connect the dots and confirm that officer did pull this car over recently! Not 100% on this but it makes a lot of sense and I notice it in just about every clip of cops walking up to a car they’ve pulled over! They always touch around the back light or the roof!

I have two friends that were both arrested for DUI. They both had to go to AA and do a bunch of other alcohol treatment stuff and as long as they didn’t reoffend for a certain period of time, the DUI didn’t show on their records. Neither did any jail time either. So you’re right, a long jail sentence for a first DUI is an unusual.

The cops arrested me for 1.5oz pot, an expired medical permit, and a legal gun and because I had the weed in daily dosages they charged me with felony distribution. It cost me everything I’d worked my life for. Indeed I had fantasies of revenge, but I couldn’t see that changing anything. Life has never been fair to me. I grew up in this town and only recently moved. I was actually in school when this happened and we were put on lock down. I remember how upset everyone in our town was. People are crazy no matter where you live, even in small towns.

My ex-husband was a Los Angeles Co Sheriff Deputy. Within 12-18 months of joining, he was raging out of control physically and mentally. Thought he could do anything and get away with it. He was finally relieved of duty after three lawsuits were filed against him for excessive use of force, the last one being for 10 million dollars. I understand that they deal with the scum of the Earth and nothing but people who commit crimes-especially in gang areas like L.A. and I don't know what the answer is to this problem , but a huge problem exists.
maybe he was also bullied, harrassed etc?? I am sure the victims were no innocent angels, either. He would not have killed them only over some computer monitors.....the hatred was running very, very deep. This needs a lot of time to accumulate.
The law does not pertain to them. They are above all the rest of us mere mortals, and they never stop demonstrating their omnipotent godlike powers to the rest of us every chance they get. This brash stupidity is what will bring their downfall in the end, and that end is getting closer and closer every day. Must push the envelope again and again until society has had enough and the evil is surgically removed.

I’m not 100% on this but I heard cops do that so if something like this happens where the cop gets shot and the suspect car escapes, then when they find the right person, there’s a good chance you’ll find the cops prints on the back of the car which helps connect the dots and confirm that officer did pull this car over recently! Not 100% on this but it makes a lot of sense and I notice it in just about every clip of cops walking up to a car they’ve pulled over! They always touch around the back light or the roof!
