- Simon takes me out in his straight piped Audi TTS, and it sounds INSANE! Strangley, before this shoot, I had never experienced a TTS (or TTRS), so it was great to finally go out in one, and I can safely say they're a lot of fun.

Your never too old to have a car like that I’m 54 and have a 500 hp TTRS when you stop having fun you just stop living and fade away kudos to you go for stage 2 and some flames have fun👍
Who’s yours mapped by? I’ve got stage 2 + TTRS by MRC and they use hardly any boost 😂 my APR map boost bar used to go all way up but the MRC one don’t even go 1/4 of way now
Kyle APR stage 1 plus with APR intercooler IE intake IE turbo inlet APR coils Denzo iridium racing plugs 034 cat less mid pipes APR dogbone and pendulum mount 034 subframe bushings 034 rear sway bars and adjustable end links IROZ oil and dsg catch cans car is track ready and fast as hell!!.. must be something wrong with your tune the only issue I have is the dsg tune was not available at the time so in comfort mode it shifts too soon so I leave it in dynamic sport until the file is available.. they said the stage 1 plus delivers between 513 to 568 hp with 93 octane and required bolt ons I have a few more mods to do then I will Dyno it😁

Mine has everything on it two, DSG map aswell, one of only 3 in whole country in my colour and mines the highest spec from factory aswell never mind how it is now 😂 had some middle age couple look down there nose at me in there TT S-line and I was thinking plz this is leagues above yours 😂
If you think it’s fast now wait till you get to stage 2 + like mine, the throttle is stupidly responsive especially with the DSG map
Kyle Nardo grey?..what year is yours mine is 2020 but was told dsg file not read or available yet.. yeah the TTS is slow compared to these😂.. I wanted to go stage 2 but APR discontinued it so I guess I have to settle for stage 1 plus
Kyle out of curiosity why did you go from apr to MRC? Apr is probably the strongest at tuning with revo closely on par.
I'm not usually a big fan of TTs but the colour, carbon kit, coilovers and superb 20s make it a real nice package.

remember befor the www and you went and sat down at the insurers, when i was 21 I was taken into the back room for coffee and biscuits when I wanted to insure my TVR 3000s Turbo, those where the days, 4 months salary to insure my car 3rd party and I would do it all again

@@Shehatesjay__Jay ABSOLUTELY!!! I've had mine for a few months and have zero regrets. Every day it seems like I learn something new about the car. There's a little bit of a learning curve going from JDM to German as far as doing you own maintenance. But channels like Humble Mechanic and DAP (Deutsche Auto Parts) do walk thru tutorials that make working on it much more user friendly and cost effective. You will not regret going for it, good luck and remember to stay on top of the maintenance.
I have a 22 RS and the thing brings a smile to my face everytime I get in it.
P4s Tyres - everyone has them for a reason - awesome grip. Transformed the handling on my Mk3 TTS - loving the carbon bits. Nicely done

i have always hated the dsg farting and pooping,but other than that car looks awesome and you can't really fault the tts,but for the price point i could never get one of these other a m235/m240i

Did you remove the magnetic ride when the KW V3 were installed? If so, did you notice a big difference in handling?

My TT 230 TFSI was measured with 255hp with an R600 + Inlet & Outlet before the ECU Tuned. So apparently it gives something like 20-25hp !
Can you tell the difference?

Baby R8 no, TTRS is a Baby R8!
A proper tuned TTS or TT is just as fast as a stage 2 TTRS. Own both TTRS and TT, my TT with hybrid turbo is slightly quicker than my stage 2 rs
Daniel Volt In terms of sound/feeling a 5pot is more similar to an r8 v10 rather than a modified 2litre.

No never to old to own a sports car, I’m 58 and own a i30 fastback N, with stage 2 turbo, K&n filter, pushing 300 hp and a shit load of other mods....
TTRS is what's considered the 'baby R8" for it shares half the engine. not a 4 cylinder

Love the car in general. Very tastefully modded. Just never been a fan of that 4 pot engine. Whether it’s in a golf r, s3 or this. Good video either way. A TTRS with the 5 pot would be the winning recipe! Very pricey though.
So he spent $95k on a modded stage 1 TTS vs just getting a TTRS and throwing $20k at a TTRS and getting 650HP + wheels + suspension minus audi carbon fiber
its the future anyway so be happy if u even have a 4pitter instead of some batteries lol

For me personally ,it’s not sound , it’s just noise. And these pops and bangs are annoying. But seems, that the most British people do like those noise and bangs. Same by the m140, British people have the loudest cars with the less sound. Majority are loud bangs. But the engine sound is not audible. Most of the Germans like more to intensify the engine sound and make those sound more audible. Definitely not the loudest cars, but the best from sound. It’s just my opinion and Ian not here to insulting British people. It’s just a culture difference with cars.
I'm a TT owner but the amount of money this guy must have spent I personally would rather have just bought a decent used R8

I'm 51 now and I find myself wondering isn't there like an age where add on big spoilers etc start to look a bit much. You get a nice car then do all the bad boy stuff and instead of a 30 year old getting out its me or your dad....is it just me?

@@markrhoden68 I'm with you there. I'm 38, TT MK2 stock is my daily and I find that it suits me just fine. I couldn't see myself driving a car that had been modified that much. It might be OK if you like taking it to shows and stuff. Just.
